  • If you’re scouring the market for a second-hand luxury sports sedan, you’ll quickly find a nearly daunting level of selection, and options to suit virtually any whim.
There’s another attribute of huge importance that’s likely at or near the top of your list as a first-time buyer: reliability. If that's front-and-centre in your search for a new-to-you sedan that's upscale, well-optioned, and exciting to drive, here are a few models I'd suggest checking out. Each of the following machines blend reasonable asking prices with a high likelihood of trouble-free operation, provided you take a few steps to confirm the health of the vehicle, before you buy.

The honda 2013 to 2016 V6 deserves to be on this list.

Great review with unbiased information. Seems like all the reviewers today are lazy and repeat the same information over and over again. Very little can be said without owning the car because what is the primary cause of unreliability these days? You guessed it, poor ownership maintenance.

So, what model in this category is less reliable than the Jag then?

It's all a facade. It depends on its inherit design from the manufacturer that makes it stand the test of time. My 2007 Lexus ES 350 is one of Toyota's earlier full infotainment systems integrated in a car and it's like interacting with a phone equivalent of a decently equipped Nokia. Extremely functional if not fancy at all. Now everyone's trying to replicate smartphones which have ownership lifecycle averaging a tenth of the time than that of an entire CAR.

Wow, this video is terribly short on numbers. Instead of telling the viewer to make sure the previous owner took good care of the car umpteen times, how about giving price estimates and performance stats (HP, top speed, torque, 0-60 time, etc.)?

@@bongboyz6468 Caddy is definitely more reliable than the other 3. I wouldn’t buy any BMW if I’m on any type of budget they are junk. The Jag isn’t awful drivetrain wise if you get a V6. But electrical issues will be common. The Benz may be slightly better than the jag but makes less power. The caddy isn’t bad at all of taken care of.
