It's real pleasure to watch on screen and listen to Lambretta sound. Such a piece of art - for people who have conditions to mantain and desire to enjoy. . .
Oooh, I had one and let it go, as I did with an original li 1 hundred (lol) and 50 series 2 but kept an original li150 series 3. Thanks for the show Rob😊
84 year old timer. Had a TV175 while in military, Austin TX. Low,low mile second hand. Had a large windscreen with canvas extension. Was a tan/ yellow color. Didn't know it was a series 2 until I saw this video. Nice ride two-up at 60mph. Was $400 US in 1966 dollars!
Dude! While I am a Vespa guy through-and-through, I really enjoyed watching you take us around this original Lambretta. It was quite a bit of fun! Not sure how I got here, but you've got a new sub. I picked up some Glaswegian in your accent...then, I read your bio! Great work, sir!
Excellent video as always, Bgm electronic, people in England always comment that they are problematic? My brother has a pair of Tv 175 series 1 1958 restoration 15 years ago in Italy and a 1963 series 2 with period accessory
The BGM system has the best cooling and best ballanced flywheel on the market. They had an issue with a batch of stator back plates that didnt sit centered but ive never had a problem with them and I have used and fit loads. In fact, the system that went into this TV was first mounted to the Dinoco S1 and that ran faultlesly, 1100km in a weekend.
Hi Rob, a great looking scooter and tidy work by yourself. Having just bought a TV175 s2 here in Finland, I am keen on the mild tuning options your customer selected. Apologies if I missed it, but was it the 58/116 large GP type crank you installed, and did you alter the gearing, chain length etc? How about the engine cover, did you add the later version with the strengthen kickstart webbing? I've read this can be a weak point with tuned scooters. Cheers!
Standard gp crankshaft in this but I personally prefer 60x110 in the rt kits. Gp sidecase. All new parts, don't use the old chain, clutch plates or layshaft.

Series 2’s are definitely the best looking Lambretta ever made
I think you mean series 1. 😁
Outstanding!!
Lovely... mine is all original runs sweet
THESE ARE MY FAVORITE SCOOTERS ONE DAY ILL OWN ONE
Lovely! And I prefer that colour to the creme yellow one ...
I agree with you on the difference in ride quality on the Tv with other series 2's. My standard Tv 2 is really smooth compared to my Eibar series 2.
Extramly rare❤
A OLD BLOKE BY ME GAVE MY MATE ONE IN THE 80S AND HE CUT IT DOWN AND MATT BLACKED IT .......I COULD OF CRYED
I've also done that to a tv2 😂
