All life is a succesion of organisms-a concept which is ez to intellectualize but difficult to execute. But you guys have the right attitude about it! It's never ez and thoughtless nor should it be! Best wishes fellow travelers. ❤
I chased one of our 15 down to tag it with spray paint. He's the firts to go. Being a BIG BULLY to even our roosters. We've drawn their lifespans out. Time to feed ourselves now...
Hopefully you can shed some light for us. We just harvested our first guineas and the livers were not red like a chicken. The girls was yellow and boys were grey ish. Is this normal or is something wrong with our birds? Thanks in advance!
Sorry I do not know much about this subject. All I have heard is yellow indicates a fattier diet and is ok. But Green is considered a bad sign. That is all I really know.
Yeah the Guineas can be aggressive and territorial, once they’ve “outlived there usefulness” not that they aren’t beautiful birds, it’s probably in the keepers best interest to butcher the bird and process it for meat 🥩 it’s the circle of life y’all did a great job and kept your heads up, and earned a subscriber!
Yea the first time taking a birds life was harder then I thought it would be. I was not raised with this life style. But I'm getting tougher. I better we have 30 meat birds were doing in April.
taking a life, no matter how insignificant you may think it is, isn't easy. you may think nothing of killing a fly, as do i, but it's fine to not be ok with it.
Good to see you folks intuitively figured your way through this process, great job on the video 👍
Thank you!
I really enjoyed the honesty of the video. I have one very aggressive Guinea that’s headed towards this fate.
First kill is the hardest but none are fun. Great job!
Thank you!

He ain’t a city boy no more! Welcome to the club
The cat went from what smells so delicious, to I don't want any part of that, and then back to what smells so delicious. 😂

Honestly I was worried about the same thing when creating the Vid. Thanks
Howd it taste
A lot like chicken but it seemed to have more dark meat.
Can you eat the gizzerd liver and heart of a guinea fowl like you can with a chicken?
As far as I know you can. But I am pretty new to guinea fowl.
Thank you😁 just butchered my first too.
Bird felt nothing. It was just lights out.
I feel. Bad. Gutea fowl
Thank you so much beautiful girl please make more chicken turkey quail and duck slaughter video big fans love you ❤️❤️
I think this way is a little bit more humane than a killing cone due to the speed

Do squats and deadlifts before and it’ll be extremely swift

@@roothomestead4504 I feel for you. I'm not religious but thanking the bird as I take the head off and process helps me. Weird but it works.
