How To Release Guinea Keets for the first Time & And keep Them Coming Home To Roost

  • This week we are releasing our guinea Keets to join the main Flock Free ranging around our homestead. I find this to be a fairly low stress and easy task, I have read so many horror stories about raising Guinea fowl, and my experience is the complete opposite. Mine have been a pleasure from day one and have all ways laid their eggs in the nest boxes.

    Cliping of feathers is BAD idea. You can taped feathers as log you need.

    When moving my 8 keets from the brooder, 2 escaped never to return..😢

    How do you catch them in the evening?

      I don't , they come home on their own. Occasionally with a new batch of keets I have to guide them in, but mostly they just follow the adults
