Neevesy, it's really refreshing to know that even someone with your vast road-testing and racing experience still gets a thrill from improving your own bike, which for many of us is a big part of motorbike ownership.
As an owner of an 'old' bike myself (2002 Sprint 955i), I appreciate your digging into the GSXR to see how the bike can be developed. Reviews of expensive new bikes is all fine and good, but many of (most?) are still finding fun and pleasure in the old ones. Cheers!
GSX-R750 pure love :) Thank you for being a champion for my favourite bike (and as a K1 owner). I love how so many bike journalists and ex racers love the Gixxer 750. It gets under your skin and I'll never sell mine no matter what other bikes I own.
As a GSXR750 owner it's always interesting watching people dump 20k+ on fancier premium machines just to not fully utilize them. I ride mine day in and day out issue free. Has no TC or ABS which is exactly what I prefer and anybody that gets on one seems to love it, despite endless insults from the money bag kids on their BMWs and Ducatis. Yet we see them traded in or in for service all the time. In 4 years I've never seen a single GSXR in for work. Piles of Yamahas, BMWs, Kawis etc. Long live the "Grand Sport Xperimental Race" machine!
Really enjoying these series's of vids your doing on the gsxr , gives a great insight . Back in the day riding with all your mates you just swapped bikes ...free test ride 😊 not so many of us riding anymore so watching your vids is almost like a bike swap if you get what i mean , keep it going love them ! Cheers
Dan came across very well in this video, you could hear his passion for GSX-Rs and tuning them and although a lot of what he said was alien to me I still knew what he was talking about.
Ive followed your vids since the beginning but this series of gsxr vids have been amazing thanks for putting Msg in as i may use them . Fantastic ! Looking forward to the next one already 🍻🏁
Modding bikes, making things better is why I enjoy bikes. If you are going to make further changes as suggested, I'm sure many would like to see. Good form for figuring out something was wrong too, making the right call as always. Legend, thanks for the videos.
Another great video Michael - thank you! Loved it. Dan came across brilliantly. Gav and Dan @MSG are outstanding. If you have a Suzuki you need to visit the boys at MSG!
What a great vlog, full of passion, ideas, inspiration and gsxr power! I have enjoyed all the episodes especially that i am an owner of a gixxer 750cc, as are most of my mates. The gsx-r series is special and your videos prove just that! Amazing, keep up the good work :)
Loving your content Neevesy, it’s so refreshing and that bit different. That race Gsxr sounded really tough coming out of the pit area, found myself rewinding it and listening to it in the car. #ASMR
Great to hear your true opinion about the difference between fast road bike and race bike. Comments like these set apart journalists from youtubers. I see you really made the best out of the Suzuki ive event. Fun fact, 13:13 the GSXR-750 on the right side behind the grey van, was the one that I mistakenly thought it was yours.🤣
Gav and Dan at MSG set up my L6 750. They are quite simply the best Suzuki track specialists out there in my opinion. Unfortunately I sold that bike but no doubt when I get another GSXR it will be going straight into their workshops.
This was really interesting Mike! A real shame about the puncture but kudos for not pushing it too far. I’m looking forward to seeing how you develop your bike for your own intended and specific goals now 😊 Does Paul B still have his OW01 that you also reviewed so enjoyably? Best wishes 👍
Always had a soft spot for the 750, has two of them, such a perfectly balanced bike. I only sold it after a trip to catalunya and being spanked, repeatedly, down the start finish by R1s 😂. Needless to say I was immediately 7 secs a lap quicker in the R1 at Donny, a massive step up in power/electronics but harder to ride than the trusty Gixxer. I spoke to the MSG guys at Suzuki Live and the cost of the control electronics for the Gixxer is staggering, honestly criminal. I don't think you'll see many in BSB for that reason.
I rode a Gsxs1000gt at a suzuki demo days a couple weeks ago, first time riding a bike with a quickshifter (no auto blip). Although cool, I preferred manually rev-matching downshifts on my 2004 Yamaha R6. 🤷♂️
Another cracking vlog mate, such a shame you gained a puncture , hope fully you can get back out on her soon and see what she’s made of 👍🏽😎🏍, take care and keep up the great content 🙏🏽😎🔥🔥🔥🔥
@neevesy question for you recently bought an L1 gsxr1k. Great shape but compared to my 06 and 08 750s it is noticeably more buzzy and vibration prone. It does not have bar ends could that be the issue? Or liter bike more prone to this issue?
I know you were mainly on slow laps , but what did you think of the auto-blip fly by wire set up? I have a 07 track bike that is done up and thinking of adding the IRC auto-blipper in the off season. Thanks for your reviews! DT
Hi Michael. In a number of your videos I've heard you mention that you don't like middle weights like an MT09 on track because the litre bikes come past too fast on the straight. How does the GSX750 hold up in this regard?
Hey guys, looking to buy a gsxr 750 in the next 12 months. I’ve had a gsxr 600 k8 in the past and really like that shape. But is the 2011+ gsxr 750 a lot better than the 2008 gsxr 750? Any help appreciated. Thank you
You mentioned that you have "SBS Track Day" pads. Are they they "SBS 841RST"? I'm looking for some new pads for my own 750, that are mainly for the road but with the occasional track day as well.
Is it possible to put a link to site where you bought fairing bits from, I can’t find Suzuki genuine part from Japan site 😊. Would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Your explaination makes sense of what we were seeing. I though it all looked a bit squirrely, particularly out of the corners. I actually wondered whether you were 'testing' the bike. Something I do when riding something unfamiliar is try different inputs to see how it reacts, I'll try fast, slow, progressive inputs on steering, throttle and brakes to get a feel for the bike. Kind of looked like that's what you were doing, but obviously not. Damn shame.
It doesn't take much to throw a bikes feeling off. I had head stem bearings replaced in my supermoto and they were just a bee's dick too tight and it felt like the front tyre was half flat, very unnerving. Great video Michael keep 'em coming!
I noticed they are running a 190 on the rear. Are they also running a wider wheel? Sure seems like it would slow the turning. Only squids do that around here, and for looks only.
Mr Neevesy, once again great video❗️ I wish you could work along side with Simon Crafar in MotoGP❗️ That would be epic❗️ You definitely deserve the opportunity to do so❗️ On the other note, on your next video, can you wish me a happy birthday Mr neevesy. My birth is July 20th. I will be 33. My name is “Mobi” fingers cross❗️🤞🏿😎
Odd as i always found my L0 to be a fat slug compared to the 06 R6 it replaced, it was 3 kilos lighter than the 1000 and felt like it had 50bhp missing. Not to annoy people but its by far the least capable bike i have ever owned.
The level of respect for you is clearly evident in our posts, but I struggle to think of it expressed more clearly than by Dave, letting you test ride a race bike he's been building for months.

Awesome video! Maybe the short stacks? The sound of that bike was amazing! Very enjoyable to watch. Best!

Fantastic video, MSG Racing are the top man when it comes to Gsxr's .
It already looked unstable on the footage you showed us. Did it feel the same for you?
Yet again an absolutely brilliant video , great job neevesy 👍👍👍
Excellent video 👍🏻 The balancing rules are pretty tough on the 750, a std, but blue printed engine, restricted at the top-end , Vs tuned 600s !
I tried a set of Supercorsa SP V4s at my last track day and couldn't be happier. Thanks for the recommendation!
Keep them coming, best m.c. content on TH-cam by a mile.😊
Great content mate ..I recently got my L4 flash-tuned as it had a cat-delete with a yoshi pipe and a K&N.. The difference was night and day.
Interested to know what she put out before and after? Im getting an l5 next weeks and fancy getting a tune done.
@@cogROCKER hi there. Interested to know what she put out after the tune? Getting one on fri and fancy a tune

Gav and the lads at MSG are bang on
Cracking vid as always, took some notes on parts and setup haha

Nice work!
Id be happy if you ever wanted a clean black and yellow k2 750 for you to do a comparison video

Great video. Never had a gsxr but wish I did have.
Here in america the gsxr750 is ran in motoamerica and it competes fairly well. They are trying to catch up to the ducatis and r1s lately tho.
Brilliant and interesting video... everytime I watch one I go out and change another setting on my 750 or order another upgrade.. Thanks 🙄
How are the new 600's selling in europe?
In USA naked sport touring are hot now.
great vid as usual mate
Forgive my lack of knowledge…. Why not tune up a gsxr 600 , instead of tuning down a 750?
Big thanks to Team Hammer in America. Without their ingenuity everyone had given up on Suzuki in supersport.
Chris Ulrich is still publishing Roadracing World magazine as well, right? He’s a busy guy. :)

Enjoyed watching this GSX-R love-in 😁
Yours is prettier. Yes “squidgeability” great description as to the feel of a vehicle whether bike or car

He's right about the can, big gains to be made there. Remember kids, ultimate means last, I doubt this bike will ever be last. 😂
Really great information.
That bike looks so amazing without that headlight
Neevesy, did you feel any kind of frustration on the track bike with its 80% throttle restriction?
You mentioned that you have "SBS Track Day" pads. Are they they "SBS 841RST"? I'm looking for some new pads for my own 750, that are mainly for the road but with the occasional track day as well.

Have you tried a Suzuki dealer?
I can help you buy it, because Japan does not sell to outsiders and requires a dealer. I am in Taiwan. If you need help, you can send me an email.

Post the on board footage mate 👍
would like to see your bike with some of those mods
What a beautiful bike 😍 👌 ❤️
Loved it!!!

Is Suzuki still producing the GSXR 750 ?
In some countries, yes 👍
I noticed they are running a 190 on the rear. Are they also running a wider wheel? Sure seems like it would slow the turning. Only squids do that around here, and for looks only.
Standard wheel, I think. The 190s they use are quite balloon-shaped, so the steering should still be nice and quick!
Please Suzuki make an updated gsxr 750 with up/down quick shifter, electronic dash and gsxr 1000 styling ….id buy 2 just because lol
When you said ultimate, I thought you must have also blagged a ride on that factory SRAD. Click bait, Michael! 😂
Mr Neevesy, once again great video❗️

Happy birthday, Mobi. Have a great day 😊👍
So you like the gsxr750, how could anybody have known 😁😉
Every time I see that supertech r10 I want to buy it
Which raises the question - with all those changes, is it still a GSX-R750?
Great hobbie working towards your ultimate home bike.
I own a 2000 srad 600, what are your thoughts on this model, what would you do to improve it (without having to sell a kidney)
👍
Great piece but making a bike less powerful in order for it to complete in a certain class, Will always cause me a furrowed brow 🤔
Odd as i always found my L0 to be a fat slug compared to the 06 R6 it replaced, it was 3 kilos lighter than the 1000 and felt like it had 50bhp missing.
Not to annoy people but its by far the least capable bike i have ever owned.
