Thanks Michael for your series of videos on the GSX R750. Throughout your videos, curiosity has got the better of me, such that I’ve found a 7 yr old bike, 9k on the clock, many extras, test ridden it 2 days ago and wow, what beautiful balanced sports bike. Paid a deposit, just about to advertise my 3 yr old RS 660. Thanks for the inspiration. Martyn.
Hey Neevesy, the roughness and hesitation of the engine below 3.000 rpm and the loss of power is caused by a dirty fuel pump filter. The filter is in the bottom of the fuel pump. I have changed the filter and the O-rings in the fuel regulator (these harden over time) at the top of the fuel pump in my GSXR 750 MY 2011 and the engine runs now perfekt as it schould be.
Well done Neevesy…Great project and outcome…AWESOME GIXXER you got there…Thank God it’s still not languishing all busted up and dusty in a shed somewhere, you’ve brought it back to life and all it’s glory and you should be proud of yourself. Congratulations!!! Cheers Marty from Melbourne 🇦🇺👏👍😎🏍️
Love the T shirt mate! 😂 There is nothing quite like the feeling of making a “wish list” for a newly acquired bike…. 2 years in I’m still working through mine for my K3 1000 lol! Great vid 😊
Much faster than the Yamaha R9!! Good video! Thanks for all the stats! Cheers from the USA! I too have a GSXR 750. 2022. Great bike. I personally think it's the over all best well rounded bike made. Totally a unicorn! Look forward to more vids.
That's a beautiful bike you have put together. Can't imagine riding it further than my neighborhood at my age. My VFR800 is the fast bike for me these days. The DRZ400 is good for hooligan stuff and the Burgman 400 is my city/touring machine.
Great stuff Michael.I have amongst all really enjoyed seeing the 750 get to where it is now. Wishlist just needs a full Yoshi system included. I dont mind the GP style pipe but....
Another nice one Neevesy!. I am on my second gsxr 750. First one was bought new in 2013. It was nice but lacked some spice. Did an exhaust and a tune and it was better. Fast forward and now have a 2007 gsxr 750 track bike. It has all the goodies you mention wanting and maybe more. It was a retired race bike and a bit tattered but loads of cleaning and a scrounge through my spares bin have it looking good again. Ohlins front and rear set up for me, full Arrow exhaust, Brembo MC and calipers with race pads. Steel lines, forged rims, quick shift, etc. I think it works better now than the 13 I had. Good stuff and always look forward to your Vid's. DT
Thank you for sharing your passion. Since you started this series you have me looking for gsxrs at every dealership i visit, even though I will never get one 😊

"Think about how much faster it is than the Yamaha R9"😂😂😂 117hp-900cc😢 Lol Thank you for real world numbers, I can see how the GSX-R750 is one of the best motorcycles ever created
Honestly neevs get yourself a full arrow system and a remap. They sound great. The fitting was absolutely spot on. Not too loud at all (track legal even without the baffle in) and the pops and bangs on the overrun are class. You won't be disappointed
I had a K8, sold it and then bought a 600-L15 thinking I wouldn´t miss the extra 30HP again... 🥲still miss her! 1L bikes would have to really work or take big risks to get away. So fun and frisky! Great job, cheers! Ride safe!
Hi Neevsey, thanks for the video series. I got the 600 L6 and I am so happy that I got so much feedback and information about the bike because of your videos and the people watching them and giving insights. I went for a full Arrow system and tuning with a Power Commander 6 - since I don’t ride her on the rode. I’ve got myself a link pipe, but it’s laying around - if you want it, let me know. I’m happy to give something back. 😉 Cheers, Marci
It's great watching you doing what you do.. cant wait to see how the gsxr750 goes. I'm doing the same to my gsxr750 slingshot. Not for track days. Maybe one on the suzuki classic day 👍🏼
I'm enjoying your enthusiasm Neevsey. When you talk about this bike, you make it sound like your lover. Hope you're girlfriend isn't the jealous type 😄
Well worth the time and money to get that feeling you’ve got going on there. That pipe looks delicious! The colour combo is spot on too. I think your IN LOVE mate ❤
These videos are brilliant. Thanks for taking the time to make them. Your enthusiasm for and fascination with your bike is so clear. You've tried every bike available and CHOSEN this one. One criticism is that with every video of yours I watch, I feel the building inevitability that I will have to get a GSXR 750!
Hi Michael , great video . I just watched your review of your long term KTM and you mentioned not being able to see small figures on the dash , I'm 63 and contacts have enabled me to keep riding as I didn't like glasses and helmet , bit of a fiddle to get in and out to start with but ok now , I would recommend trying them . Regards Simon
Hi Michael Love the GSXR love here :) I've had my K1 600 since 2006 don't think I'll every part with it. Depending on how bad the roughness is, If everything on bike is sound, and you getting pipe and going to dyno it, you can probably tune the roughness out. The factory tune was never SUPER smooth on GSXRs :)
The bike looks great! Nice to see you enjoy it 🙂 Funny you mention the R9 at the end, I'll buy a R9 and turn it in to race bike and I sort of have that question in the back of my head, will it be fast enough.. I ended up racing with my street triple after getting my license at the end of july and I actually did pretty damn good, I managed to do 9 races, I got to the podium 7 time and won 3 of them which is absolutely thrilling! And now I'm getting the R9, mostly because I want to but also for the data logging which in my head will be amazing on track and also that it'll be easier to find parts for it. However the end point being, the R9 have 10hp less than the triumph and I'm sort of scared of loosing the speed and confidence I've build up with the triumph, but I hope that the data logging can make me faster by showing me the actual details. Any thoughts on this? And sorry for the bragging.
Great update! I have the Diablo Rosso Corsa 4s on my 2015 GSXR1000 and they are ace for road and fast group trackdays. Ride there, ride home, no warmers, no problem (aside from RHS rear wear still killing a tyre a trackday at Brands Indy! 1000cc problems :( )
Keep an eye on eBay for the shock , exhaust and the other bits you are looking for,, I've had full titanium system, brembo M/C ,,R1 calipers, Ohlins rear 503 for my K6GSXR,,as I could afford at the times ,, great series on the bike ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
Nice autumn day today in Holland, took the L7 out for a ride this afternoon. Went to Germany and did the twisties. On the way back I took the autobahn 57 to Holland and got it to 299. I love my 750 😍. As for the tyres, youre absolute right. i'am an intermediate trackdayrider and see a lot of guys with TD slicks and even real slicks in my group. Overdone. I ride the S23 and love them. Did 6 trackdays this year and about 1000 miles on the road and they still are good enough for another day.
Bike looks fantastic. How fast is it? More than fast enough. I'd have one but I have a Gen2 'busa (my mates call it a spaceship) that I pretend to be fast on. 🤣🤣
That can be programmed at the same time I've had one done by Matt at C Westbury Shoes Repairs and it all works spot on they have the equipment to read the chip.
Man I’ve still got a full set of red OEM panels, tank etc for a K4/K5 750 or 600 in fairly immaculate condition that never even came out of the boxes when I had mines years ago
Great video! Very fun to follow along, and I get it- my 750 is very similar to yours, and I treat it similarly to you (but with a separate set of wheels with track-specific rubber). I lol-ed at the comment regarding the YZF-R9! :)
Hey Neevsey, just back from Phillip Island, another fantastic performance from Marquez.....My question is do you think with all these euro 5 etc emission regulations that manufacturers are starting to compromise engine longevity as they have to make engines run so lean to get through all the tests. Modern bikes seem to run so hot due to running lean. An ECU reflash is just about the first mod people do, me included. I remember my 2021 Z900RS being very snatchy in town etc when new. After a flash it transformed the bike, added 9hp with much better response etc. I really feel for manufacturers that have to spend so much time and money getting bikes to euro 5 knowing most will flash it, decat it and put a pipe on. Same with the tail sections, most dont even bother designing or investing money in these as they know they wont last long. Wish more new bikes would be like my 98R1 etc with the bodywork going to the back wheel without the modern boat anchor. Was hoping to see you at the San Remo coffee shop before heading over the bridge so I could ride with a legend but riding behind Doohan will do!😂 Seriously thanks for doing these videos
Just bought a k8, couldn't believe when i read its 172KG dry, so say 192KG kerb? Its also been decated so maybe the 189Kg of your 750 😱. My last track bike was a 750, so this k8 ought to fly. I will do master cylinder, lines, maybe bigger disks/bremo calipers, shifter ect. I did love my 750, this K8 was a great buy though
Class as ever mate 😎😎😎🙌👍 Also loving the Sunday night crack now Much better hat a Sunday and after today the racing is finished 😞😞😂 Keep them coming 😁😁😁
Great vid. Hope you get the issue sorted & can you video the process. Would like to know what the problem is. On a separate note with the new R9 now on the scene, surely Suzuki must be thinking of bringing an updated version of the 750 back to Europe. It's the obvious answer to having no 600 or 1000 on sale here. Split the difference with the perfectly placed 750 surely. It's a no brainer isn't it?
Awesome video! Love the passion for that bike. I am considering between gsxr 1000 or 750 and I dont really know which one to get.. coming from rsv4. Would you mind making some cool comparing video of 750 and 1000 since you rode a lot of miles on both of them? 😊
Not surprisingly he cooked the Clutch my 2015 GSXR 750 is appalling I'm thinking a normal spring clutch would be fantastic apparently the older style clutches fit straight in so it would be great if you could keep us updated On the clutch rebuild cheers. I love my 750 and refuse to sell it it's been a fantastic bike I've just clocked 40K KMs and it's over due for a few things like a new chain and front brake pads and a suspension rebuild still on the original rear shock 😯 and fork oil yeah time for a replacement
Another great vid sir, thanks. My L3 has similar issue at low revs. Thought at first maybe fuel but guess its electronic / mapping. Believe Suzuki restrict power etc and it feels like it. Be interesting to see how you get on with dyno. Be very interesting to dive deeper into mapping as poss there's improvement to be found there, esp at low revs which maybe the cause of low rev issues. I'm no expert but guess with a thru pipe you may need a remap anyway. Regardless these unreal engines need to be freed with lots of poss torque to be gained on pickup. Looking forward to you exploring and solving these issues for us!!. Cheers and all the best. PS don't let the learner burn your clutch out again. Too painful to watch!!
Hey Michael, great video as always with really interesting content. Regarding the tires, how do you feel and read them? Specifically, how do you sense when a tire is on the edge of its grip, and how can you tell if your bike isn’t getting the most out of the tires? Thanks and keep on going your great work. Markus
Galfer brake discs on my 2011, no brake fade round Mondello park track day with what looks like standard pads.(Only bought bike recently, didn't upgrade pads yet)
Can't wait for your mods. I'll do mine on my 600 L1 at the same time. Not sure yet about the fotk kit and rear shock as it's cost nearly 50% of the value of a gsxr 600 L1 on. Not even sure if I'll benefit from that. I had the factory one set by a suspension guy at Brands this year. With that setting I was even able to pull my elbow once at Doni and all feels good to me...Fast in inters/Slower in the fast group. I'm on track tyres and warmers so maybe I could benefit from a fork kit but I'm too dumb to touch it😅 also don't know what should I feel. As you said many times I got used to this so it's fine... I had the -1 +2 chain kit runing only on D213 with warmers. Next to change the barke master to rcs19. Also not sure about the mid pipe, so can't wait those vids!!! Keep up! Best Hope it all make sense as I'm a foregin 😂
Measure voltage at low medium high rpm, sometimes Lithium batteries don't get along well with OEM electrical system, the issue is demonstrated as rough running. A MOSFET regulator rectifier could help...If it is electrically derived, but measuring voltage as it runs on Neutral, it is zero cost.
Alrite Geezer, had the old 750Y model & used to see 170mph indicated on the clock, what was your dataloged 160 actually showing on the clock, cheers Neevsey great update. Stay safe, stinky Pete
I was about to type the same thing. A speedohealer from healtech-electronics is about 80 EUR and you always have the precise speed on your display. You can even re-calibrate it from time to time to account for tire wear.
Biased rider alert but Id love to know how she would stack up with my mint 2015 daytona 675r. Another great armchair ride along with Mr Neeves. Thank you.
Cracking video again! I've had my L6 750 suspension set up by Steve Jordan Motorcycles, I know they have a dyno too, might be to long a trip for you. Question, I use my 750 mainly on road 4-5k miles and around 5 track days a year. Will a quickshifter harm the engine with normal road use?
Christ , he is even wearing the same clothes as the bike now 😂

Need more Skid in future episodes! 🤘😎🤘
My L4 needed the fuelling tweaking to get it nice under 3k. Perfect now.
we set a national record drag racing they respond really well to a head cleanup and some web cams
Another great video
Hey Michael, great video as always with really interesting content. Regarding the tires, how do you feel and read them? Specifically, how do you sense when a tire is on the edge of its grip, and how can you tell if your bike isn’t getting the most out of the tires?
Thanks and keep on going your great work.
Markus
Lovely bike👍
Galfer brake discs on my 2011, no brake fade round Mondello park track day with what looks like standard pads.(Only bought bike recently, didn't upgrade pads yet)
Use FORTE injection cleaner additive 👍🏼 … love the t-shirt , where did you buy it ?!
It was from Suzuki UK when I raced their Katana. Not sure if they're still available, though...
Keep up! Best
Hope it all make sense as I'm a foregin 😂
Measure voltage at low medium high rpm, sometimes Lithium batteries don't get along well with OEM electrical system, the issue is demonstrated as rough running.
A MOSFET regulator rectifier could help...If it is electrically derived, but measuring voltage as it runs on Neutral, it is zero cost.
Speed healer for the speedometer, stompgrip tank pads, and a sprint air filter. And yes, she is a handsome philly.
great info as always mate
Alrite Geezer, had the old 750Y model & used to see 170mph indicated on the clock, what was your dataloged 160 actually showing on the clock, cheers Neevsey great update. Stay safe, stinky Pete
You should get a speedo calibrator. Those things work wonders.
Thank you.
Even the suzuki shirt looks good😊
No problem for Christmas gift ideas for your friend and family 😂
My best GPS was done on an interstate 3 times. 176 was the recorded highest on the panel. But GPS said in 5 miles top speed was 168.
Check the tps sensor mate worth a look at
Brembo m/c, braided lines you know it would help loads 👍
Looks good. 👍
