- Here's the High-Grade 1/144 scale Quel. It's a pretty great little grunt HG for a good price. It may be old but still well worth checking out!

Telling yall, take the extra connectors from the Byarlant Custom that hold the thruster tanks on it's back which come as extra parts with the Titans Byarlant. Put them on the Titans Byarlant and put two blue shield boosters on it. You've got a Byarlant that looks WAY better than any Byarlant that Bandai sold.
Guess I'm ordering the Custom now. Seriously just started building the original yesterday and you couldn't be more right. This is gonna be one pricey Titan.
Well, you don't need the Byarlant Custom, the Titans version comes with the B. Custom connector pieces for the tank thrusters as extra parts. Once you stick those on, you can stick two Hazel shield boosters on where the B Custom tank thrusters are supposed to go and you are good go. It looks MEAN.
Due to the history of this MS, this is one dictator's dream machine.
I gave this kit a yellow beam saber effect and (much like the Barzam) it really looks good against the blue for some reason
Most definitely worth the price! Also the idea of doing a custom diorama is a GREAT idea!!! I think I'll do that when I've finished with my 100k subscribers beginner entry! I only have 1 fully functioning hand so it's taking a while to complete!

GM Quel and GM Custom's face is so cool and then I realized that Jesta's face is similar to them.

Aside from seamlines a pretty sweet kit. Like the beam saber hand a lot.
Just being able to give my hazel ii another rifle hand makes it worth it, let alone that I like the gm Quell, plus it having the backpack like the gm custom works too
One day i hope we get a gm sniper III kit
Hopefully in the future you compare this with the GM Custom, which in the UC series is what the GM Quel is based on. In terms of kit, GM custom being a 2012 kit, you'll notice theres quite a bit of improvement you'll appreciate, epsecially after building the GM quel first.

ZakuAurelius the GM Custom is a better mold( the colors on the custom look horrible OOB). I prefer this chunky boy.
@@holden_7597 yeah. On the other hand though, the Custom looks like it did have some more funds going into it, based on appearance alone. I agree that the Quel does look a bit more intimidating.
For some reason the rg mk ii’s Vulcan pod works with the hazel ii head
Because they are supposed to be the same in the lore
My only other complaint is that the gun and hand allow for very limited motion due to the bullpup design. It also makes the the hand joint stick out of its socket, just to hold the gun. Otherwise agree 100% with this vid.
Knowing the history of this mobile suit, I am disturbed by the camera stickers on the feet.
That makes it seem like it is specialized at following targets that are ankle height (ie- human civilians).
Because it is. Killing civilians is what the Titans do best
It's more of a sensory camera than an actual visual camera. Just like the ones you use for your car's rear sensor

Didn't this suit had a brief cameo in Gundam NT? Or was it another suit?
S E I Yeah it has a brief cameo inside the Titan's facility where they kept the Miracle Children.
the dark Titans colors makes it look aggressive but it would be also interesting to see it in normal GM colors.
closest to this is the GM Custom or GM Type C

Wasn't the original Quel in the GM colors. I mean it existed since the 0083 era
@@michelfanda2030 Some Federation forces used it in traditional colors but the first time we see it on screen is in Titans blue. The GM Custom is very similar though, the Quel is just a stripped down version of that after all.

These mid-/late-2000s Feddie kits had some of the best stock hands to come out of the entire Bandai gunpla lineup. I wish Bandai would just reproduce the dedicated hand runner they eventually made for every HG release nowadays instead of the lazy ugly square-hole designs they've since returned to.

Missing an OG HGUC Gundam Mk.II? The HGBF Build Gundam Mk.II is based off the OG version, with all the seam lines.
The GM III backpack would work as well since it uses the old gundam mk II back pack
I don’t know how I did it, but on my first HGUC Quel somehow the shield connector piece for the arm and shield snapped for me, ended up glueing that part to the arm. I have a second one I haven’t built yet but I’ll probably find water slide decals instead of the stickers used.
The waterslides go for over 50 usd since theyre out of print
@@alvodisco Thanks for the info, glad I have the kit already. It's expensive but it'll be better than the stickers. I could always cut closer to the sticker design like in this video.
is the MK2 really a gundam :P or a simple Quel with a gundam head for Pyschological warfare.
I've been meaning to pick this kit up but all my friends say its pretty bad so I dunno, even if I get it I wont be losing much tho
It's better than the old MG, but the new MG (option of the P-Bandai Hazel II) is definitely the best! Reviews for the MGs coming soon

ZakuAurelius the new MG looks pretty good to me. This is the cheapest Quel kit though. :(
It's based on the Advance of Zeta art more-so than the 0083 art.
1st
