Great vid as usual. I think you could probably rig something up to keep you SS storage unit but attach the corner and smaller shelving to get the L-shape and added storage. Either way, storage is always a great topic and good job on the thumbnail.
Man should have just added Rep’s corner pieces to your current storage rack (3x3 1” holes) and used a few of their shelves to make this basically same setup.
At some point I think you had made a point to make sure everything was MiUSA (without Rogue, even maybe)? If so, why the change. Also, why not use the taller uprights all the way around?
I did all MiUSA without rogue to prove it could be done. I went with the multiple heights to divide the space without making it feel like two separate rooms. Hope that answer makes sense. I need my wood shop to still function and a tall wall would have been a problem
Kurt do you know if this is backwards compatible with the previous mass storage system? I'm potentially looking to add on. The dimensions look the same but the hole sizing it strange on the mass storage system.
I was confused because they have storage system and then the elite storage and I didn't understand the difference because there's nothing on their website. Does anyone know if they are compatible or what's the difference between Titan storage system and Titan elite storage system
I did some digging and I believe that any mass storage system is the elite series. The only reference I could find was some crossmembers that were for a "mass storage" without the elite word. Unless I am missing something which could be the case. If I am, please share the link
@TheKurtlocker there is a note on the website for the stabilizers stating that they are only compatible with storage units purchase prior to October 2024 and not the elite mass storage system. They look very similar. I also sent a message to Titan Fitness and they indicated that they are not compatible. That's unfortunate for me because I purchased around July last year and apparently they have discontinued without notice. So now I'm out of luck so I have to look to something else for my dumbbell add on storage.... And I can't get my money to Titan after that
@TheKurtlocker 🤔, we see it differently because, it is disrespectful when a company doesn't inform customers or potential customers of a discontinuation of a product. especially when a new product that looks identical to the discontinued item has the same specs but somehow it's not compatible. Purchasers like me have to either start over with less confidence or choose a different company. The specs look the same and in fact you can visually see that they look pretty much identical. Another example is the rackable curl bar which they have on sale. I have a few Titan Fitness products including the rackable curl bar and it appears to be the same specs unless you want to consider the end cap that says elite. They haven't put any details on how it's different from their previous rackable curl bar to distinguish the differences. I'm thinking about purchasing one of the sleeves just to see if it's compatible. Rebranding is not innovation but I guess if you can sell it to the public and have people support it then you can do whatever you want
