Totally agree with you on this! The perfect channel imo....the knowledge, enthusiasm and communication skills makes for the perfect learning channel. His enthusiasm also makes me happy every time too so that's a bonus. My favourite channel these days, learning so much I didn't know.
This Dude Taught Me almost everything I know about Music Production and he doesn't even know me. I am a very Dope Producer from Nigeria and I can say 80% of my Cubase knowledge comes from him. Thanks Dom. You need some form of Award fr fr
Fantastic training as usual Dom. I used cubase for long and i never wanted to use sample track... thought it was complicated. Now i will. It gives me a new universe. Thks !
Dom Sigalas, you've just dropped some gems on us YTers man! You are lucky you're in London as you're now a wanted man. You've just laid down the gauntlet on these loop makers and sample packers. Cubase has got it all, just have to put in the time with a little know how. Thanks man, you've been a great source of enlightenment for Cubase and MODX/Montage synth owners...and to add, sound Design at its best. Bless up!
Another awesome video, Dom! I had no idea how the sampler track worked and now I realize that I've been working way harder than necessary doing sound design. Thanks!
What I love about you, Dom, is that you do it for a living, for one of the biggest in the business, and you're still enjoying yourself and you are still *playing* -- I word I can't here stress enough
Thank you sooooo sooooo soooo much for this tutorial! You are so easily understandable with your explanations and you make it so fun for me to try things out! I'm a newbie in all this, so thank you! I now know more of what this sampler track is and what we can do with it!
if Depeche Mode had a Cubase in their 80's....... they would be the MOST revolutionary band ever) we say "sampler" meaning "Construction Time Again" ))) I'm sure they would squeeze this feature to the limits and beyond)
This is like "Here! Let me show your simple ass how to avoid depending on VSTs". This is literally a way to save on instruments that are in one way or the other, doing the exact same thing. You have a subscriber for life in me Dom. I'm beyond impressed! This is my third video on your channel and I can say, now the bulbs are on! Thank you so much!
super pro, je vais reaprivoiser mon cubase 12...après 25 ans d'utilisation de cubase, je découvre ceci alors que j'utiliser ce sampler presque tous les jours....c'est vraiment gros ce que je viens d'apprendre. Merci.
This was great. I mainly use HALion, but the quickness, efficiency and simplicity of the Sampler Track, is exactly what would be needed to get into the zone and get things done, without any fuss. I didn't know about dropping midi parts into it either! Despite the fact that is clearly says to do so, I guess I just never noticed, when reading it!
The sampler track is such a huge workflow improvement over what I had to do 20 years ago, and the possibilities are endless. I wasn't planning on using much in the way of sampling in my production, but these tutorials have made me change my mind. I'd be stupid not to use them.
Nothing like Cubase Pro and U R The Cubase's Pope... :) Through your videos (and Mr. Selim's as well) I discover something new every time. Thank You for that! Congratulations for your new Soundtrack Album as well as for the "Apollo" Expasion, it sounds grate!
Great video! I really appreciate your last tip about making live performances sounds as sampled. I never thought about that that way. Now I can use my live performances more creatively. Thanks!
You're my God Dom. I'm learning so much from your videos. And you have a great personality, you're living for the music and music is living through you
Really, really good as always. If you're into Cubase this is the place to be. Now PLEASE Steinberg, make a new controller like the CC121 that interacts with the whole Cubase channel strip!!!
Absolute bllinder. I've gone Steinberg 16 to Artist 8 to 10.5. Always wanted to know about the sampler track this is the vid that does it all. A big thank you.
Man I relate so much to your great passion in music. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge here, seriously many people can't imagine what they can learn from people like you on yt. Crazy stuff.
I'm at the 14m mark, & I've done my best to devour all you've offered so far . . only had 2 breaks . . Dom, you are Inspiring! Thanks, pierre - Greetings from Oz!
hy Dom, I never seen such an incredible sample machine, and simpel to use as well, thx for explaining the features so clearly , ik like the inport of midi tracks, the options are endless!
Great information. Didn't know I could convert midi into wave instantly in Sampler Control window to edit and play on keyboard! Have been using Steinberg for 30 years (since C-Lab Notator) and appreciate the editing capabilities and media bay right on the Project Window. Great tutorials, Dom! I recently updated to 10.5 from Cubase 6 and you've been educating me. Good to see you getting lost in the sounds at the end there . . . !
Hi Dom, I hope you're doing well! I'm a big fan of your videos, and I've noticed that you use a macro in Cubase to import audio or MIDI events directly into a sampler track. I'm trying to create a similar macro, but I've encountered some difficulties in the process. If you don’t mind, could you kindly explain how you created that macro? It would be really helpful for me! Thank you in advance for your time and willingness to help. Keep up the great work!
Hello Mr Sigalas, I've only just discovered this youtube video and I must say that whatever you were playing in the opening was very pretty, I'd love to hear the full version! :-)
Holy crap, I think I might finally retire my Akai S5000. The Cubase sampler makes it so easy to go from recording source to sampler and the envelope, pitch, and filters do everything I still use an Akai for. And thanks to Cubase routing, I can easily send the sampler tracks out through outboard gear and back in like I do with my Akai and patchbay. Thanks for the video!
mate you are so cool! thank you. since amiga my father using cubase and i too. but when i am watching you, i am always finding new and new things from you! cubase should pay you more than their advertising budget :)
Is there a way to setup multiple sample points in one instance of sampler. So for example a loop and I want to have different keys on my midi keyboard trigger different points using the sampler, can this be done in one instance? or do I need to have different instances of the sampler or use another pluging like groove agent to do so? I like how fast sampler is over other plugins would be cool if that's possible. Many thanks

@@stickytentaclesmusic I AGREE TOO!
Holy shit I never knew you could drop a midi track directly into the sampler... game changer!
This Dude Taught Me almost everything I know about Music Production and he doesn't even know me. I am a very Dope Producer from Nigeria and I can say 80% of my Cubase knowledge comes from him. Thanks Dom. You need some form of Award fr fr

I never imagined to learn as simple as this when I started 12 years ago, thank you Dom!
Yo I love this channel...my production is definitely taking a step up... Cubase is hands down the best DAW
Another awesome video, Dom! I had no idea how the sampler track worked and now I realize that I've been working way harder than necessary doing sound design. Thanks!

Dude I swear every time I watch one of your videos I have a groundbreaking revelation of a Cubase feature I didn't know about before
if Depeche Mode had a Cubase in their 80's....... they would be the MOST revolutionary band ever) we say "sampler" meaning "Construction Time Again" ))) I'm sure they would squeeze this feature to the limits and beyond)

super pro, je vais reaprivoiser mon cubase 12...après 25 ans d'utilisation de cubase, je découvre ceci alors que j'utiliser ce sampler presque tous les jours....c'est vraiment gros ce que je viens d'apprendre. Merci.
The sample track seems like it benefits from the golden age of sampling in the 80s. It was so much fun creating anything into inspiration quickly
wow dude u totaly nailed this sample track. 10/10!!!
This was great. I mainly use HALion, but the quickness, efficiency and simplicity of the Sampler Track, is exactly what would be needed to get into the zone and get things done, without any fuss. Cubase features and this quality of training content has brought me to switch from Reason/FL Studio/Waveform to Cubase as my primary DAW...
The sampler track is such a huge workflow improvement over what I had to do 20 years ago, and the possibilities are endless. I wasn't planning on using much in the way of sampling in my production, but these tutorials have made me change my mind. I'd be stupid not to use them.

Hello Mr Sigalas, I've only just discovered this youtube video and I must say that whatever you were playing in the opening was very pretty, I'd love to hear the full version! :-)
Hey Dom! Amiga Protracker could do it about 30 years ago! Now Steinberg discovered it :) But still a great tutorial! ;)
Enjoyed that, not a sampling man at all but this has got my creative juices flowing, it’s cool
Actual chills. I've been using Cubase wrong this whole time!!
if we didn't have Dom - great tutorial and very sympathic
