BMW 1 Series Driveshaft And Wheel Speed Sensor Removal, 5DB0, 5DB1, 5DB2, DTCs Fixed.

  • The car came to our garage with dynamic stability control(DSC) and ABS malfunction lights illuminating on the dashboard, scanner was connected to the vehicle we retrieved 5DBO, 5DB1, 5DB2, 5DBF4 DTCs, from the vehicle then we visionary inspected the car and found the rear nearside wheel speed sensor ring was bulged created friction with the wheel speed sensor tip, that caused increase in the air gap between sensor tip and ring as a result the sensor tip was left away from the ring magnetic field and the sensor couldn't generate signal, then we removed the stubborn rounded hub nut, driveshaft and wheel speed sensor, this procedures are filmed in two parts, this is part one, for part two (installation procedure) just click on the link given below.
