Hi, Did you do a pcv valve check? A other thought is to put camera into combustion cylinder. Also checking state of valves. Next option would be to do a cylinder leak down test.

Thanks Heaps for this Video. My XC60 has the same low fan speed issue with no air flow. I have opened the cowl and made sure blower fan is running, changed the hvac resistor, changed the cabin filter. I came across your video yesterday. Jumped the black cable to the return wire and found fan is running full speed when jumped. I am guessing its safe to assume the CCM is somewhat malfunctioned at this stage. Is there anything else i should be checking before ordering a new CCM?. Appreciate your advise on this.

What a waist of time and alignment tools. You could take the bush of easily Take of the 3 bolts and put some weight atached with a rope one the wichbone that pulls it down a little bit. Take a flat bar to push out the bush out,but spray cilicone oil first.

Thanks for detailed video. I have MK7 2.0 TDI. I have same error code and check engine light on for 6 months. But car runs fine and no issue in power. After clearing the code, it comes back after about 80 miles again. Already changed MAF sensor and air filter without any luck. Tried couple of workshops and no one is able to catch the fault. What could be the issue? From UK.

Please remember that one of the jobs of a Module is to accept the voltage to the Module, inside the Module that voltage will be read, then calculated to a digital data format, then sent to the CAN COMM line to the Gateway as digital data then sent to your SCANNER to be translated to Human Readable Text on the screen. You were able to read Terminal 15 as 20 Volts which was improperly digitized by the EPS Module. This misreading was a problem in the Module and this is one reason showing that the Module was indeed BAD, cheers.

Thanks for this. Have identical symptoms but wasn't too sure how to diagnose.

Just a small hint regarding the bottom 10mm bolt of the thermostat housing. There was no way this bolt could be reached and unscrew in any normal procedure since the thermostat was leaking and it was stuck. I ended up breaking the thermostat housing since it was going to be replaced. Tightening it was much easier. So, after you remove the top one and after trying the bottom one and it does not come undone simply brake the thermostat housing that you are going to replace anyway.

Why did the camshaft jump, was the chain loose, stretched? Are the guides worn, did you fit a new chain and tensioner and chain guides...?
