- Am I wrong for reacting here? We've seen what Kimi Velocini has been like in GT Sport and now in GT7 this is unacceptable. Would you consider him to be the dirtiest driver in Gran Turismo 7? This is the Manufactures Series round 2 around Mount Panorama - Bathurst in the McLaren 650S Gr3?

It blows my mind how this guy climbs up the performance standings while driving like a complete knob.
He’s a really quick racer, just a shame he’s got very dirty driving habits and ends up ruining others races on the regular 👍

@@martindarren1780 yeah it does I’ve seen videos of dirty drivers in acc … I only raced with my buddies online in acc so I can’t talk from experience but they have dirty drivers … just not as bad as gt7
My constant watching of SuperGT (feel like I've seen you racing him before...) has apparently fed this video to me via algorithm. Glad it did, that was an artful pit maneuver you pulled off, any highway patrol instructor would be proud. Even the racing stewards had to give it to you and not penalty you lol! Turnabout is fair play, I see no shame in disabling a disrespectful driver. No way was that unintentional on kimi's part.

Just try to keep in mind that on the controller flashing your lights is L3. So steering hard on controller can easily toggle L3 and flash the driver in front of them. Kimi was definitely intentional but it looked like Dom only flashed through the turns. Kinda pointing to the idea that his were unintentional.

I was going to say. In Assetto Corsa Competizione, when I'm lazy to use my wheel I use my controller and mine is also set to L3. And people hate it when I press it but they don't know its by mistake and only in corners😂. I had to remap that quick
Yep I use dualshock and I always have to toggle off L3 flashing lights

What gets on my nerves is people who deliberately cause an accident and then scream about how THEY were wronged and then the innocent party gets kicked out of a lobby. I had that last night. Makes my piss boil.

Kimi is why I avoid the online portion of GT7, dirty driver and trolls who ruin the fun for the clean racers makes me want to throw the console out the window. I hope PD puts tights restrictions on "racers" like this.

Tbh I'd have done the same to him. He's a massive ****** so totally deserves everything he gets. He's made a rod for his own back so can't cry foul when people retaliate against him. Pot kettle black comes to mind 🙄

@@Zafra991 crazy though, in stead of having a bad boys lobby, why not make the crash physics reduce the weigh of the car every time you get downvoted and caught out. Next time they try to punt or push someone, their car will loose the weight balance and go flying off the track. It will look like a gnat trying to push down a concrete wall.

We call them "three namers". If you see three names in any sim, exercise caution.

BOP was on for this one so just the McLaren on the BOP setup, I love mount panorama it’s my favourite track so probably just after so many hours on track you can begin to find more time round here 👍

I think flashing into corners is a tell tale sign the person is on controller

10:10 The flashing of the lights is not necesarilly rude, it happends to me, that I play on controller, that when cornering I sometimes press the joy-stick to hard down, that is the way you flash the lights on the controller, and you end up flashing unintentionally.
The flashing may be accidental, I kept flashing on Nuremberg completely accidental I kept pushing my stick in bc I was griping the controller so hard. Never had that issue on GT sport.

Excessive flashing should be counted as unsportsmanlike conduct and be worthy of a penalty. If you're lapping another car and want to let them know you want to get by, then fine. But otherwise, stay off those f***ing blinkers, people.
I think the dom guy was accidentally flashing by clicking l3 ever turn lol.
That flashing could be from controller players. I know that before I got my wheel and pedals, I couldn't help but accidentally flash my lights through the turns on accident because of how the controller button inputs are laid out.
Genuine question - if you're epileptic, wouldn't the rapid flashing of the rev counter be more of an issue than his headlights flashing?
You're right, the rev counter is more of an issue, the way my set up is my wheel covers the rev counter, it can be a bit distracting when it flashes 👍

I don’t know about that. I entered two daily races and had multiple jackasses use the effing pit maneuver on me. No one would pass without hitting no one other driver.

Just if you didn’t know, you shift the gr.4 macca at 50% on the bar. It’s faster that way

Sometimes the flashing is due to when using a controller stick, as it's also the L3 button which the lights are mapped too. So when your pushing hard on the analog stick it can also make you press L3, preticulary on the hard turn corners
Only bad thing about being a more accessible racing game,.. is the morons who ram their way through the tracks, glad we can kick now lol

On a side note: If you love Mt. Panorama then I highly suggest you search out “James Hardie 1000” on YT - it’s the OG Bathurst 1000 when Conrod Straight had no kink and the drivers had balls of steel. Look out for the drop off at Forrest Elbow. Also search for Peter Brock, Dick Johnson & Allan Moffat just to name a few. Moffat raced RX7’s against the Fords & Holdens for something a little different.

He seems to have been racing for a long time now but still he’s always upto his same old antics!

Kimi might be playing on a controller. I can't help but accidentally press the stick on tight corners so I always flash my lights on accident lol

@@Zafra991 are you on controller because I’ve seen it’s something controller players use as well as handbrake to increase the turning radius but you are a very quick driver so if it works it must be good

Yours was far worse, his looks more like his got alongside and underestimated the understeer taking a tighter line through that corner would generate and he washed wide into you
They took that corner 2 time before in that race, don't think that it's an underestimation of the corner. Actually it's a fullspeed corner so there is no way these guys are doing it that wrong.

The flashing could be from some using a controller with the default settings… if you push the steering stick while driving the lights will flash.
I changed the settings so I don’t have that issue using a controller anymore

Yea it drove me nuts my lights flashing going into corners especially it took me a little while to figure it out now it's my windshield wipers that are on and off all race lol

The penalty system needs work how can you have a clean race after taking kimi out, rightfully but still it shouldnt have been a clean race and no penalty given. I hace been given penalties for much less.

Definitely not the dirtiest driver! Some drivers on Oceania servers with A driver rating and S sportsmanship rating are worse!
This cements in my mind that Kimi loves whacking his sack every time he finds a video containing himself on TH-cam. Pr0n no longer finds his fancy, but rather knowing he's aggravating other players puts a rise in his trousers.

With the mclaren is suffers with top end, the power dies half way up the rev band, you need to short shift
I learnt this back in GTS, and I was few tenths faster, and also getting higher speeds on straights

@@Zafra991 all good, not many people know about it, I’ll be surprised if anyone does to be honest, found out by watching the rev goes up as it gets past the little dot in the middle it just dies, so I learnt to shift before the little dot and I was able to be alittle but faster

The reason why I stopped playing GT7 because of him, total garbage play for him and ruins the thrill and excitement of racing for other players. I don't know why he keeps on doing it hoping he doesn't have a drivers license in real life cause that is something I fear.
Played a lot of sim racing and the like and yes there are times that other's want to fool around and have fun but they should be mindful that it does affects other players mood and time to play the game for what it is made of offering a competitive and fair play experience but pretty sure Kimi Velocini doesn't give a single damn about shoving other players on the corners, they should really do about his way of playing the game and let us say per session 10-20 reports should be enough for permanent ban is something I want to see happen to him.

All I saw was someone calibrating Kimi Velconini. Not a problem.
I think the German who was flashing was on controller cos he only flashed round corners which happens if u don't change button mapping. But Kimi was clearly using flash to try n distract cos he was doing all way down str8
