Hey folks, thank you for the amazing feedback and many, many, many views of the video! I have to admit, one of the first videos I ever watched, that hooked me into Gran Turismo were the Super GT vs Momoz videos, and it appears that the Kimi vs Everyone else are popular videos. I just wanted to say that I have been reliably informed that the Danish driver he was up against is no angel either, so it would seem to be a good old fashioned cases of Dirty Driver v Dirty Driver! 🤦♂️ I actually wish that GT had a specific lobby for Dirty Drivers to enter and kick GHD living daylights out of each other 😂… once again. Thank you all for watching!
Mate I don't like the guy but in this instance he was not the aggressor. First lap last corner the McLaren tried to punt him so I'm assuming that's what the brake check was for. He's reputation proceeds him after the brake check everyone piled on so he just went at them. He didn't start this one imo. There were a few attempts on that first lap the McLaren tried to end him after the first corner first lap and he retaliated I know this is not what everyone wants to hear just the way I saw this one. It's to easy to slyly take someone out now without penalty or report.

I feel your pain. I stopped driving on sport mode because I was being taken out several times after qualifying on pole. I still love the game and I still drive the missions, but I can't be bothered with people spoiling the little fun we can have these days.

Same here! I haven't played sport mode in a long time. I just play the missions, unfortunately.
I feel ya. I almost quit sport mode. Now I watch my rear view mirror for these people. I usually just brake a little longer, and watch them fly by. Dirty drivers usually get pushed off track, etc. I try not to ram anyone! I try to drive clean! But when I see someone taking other people out… I’ll take one for the team! I’ll get them on the worst spot also. Last night one guy took me out on Brands Hatch, lost about 6 seconds and I made up 4 positions that I lost. Next race I made him go from 3rd to 12th. After the race I punched in the message… Let’s play again sometime. I do the same thing back to them! Most people like to divebomb and push you way wide… almost off track. So I catch back up and give them some karma. What’s the saying? If you do it to me once, shame on you… if you do it to me again, shame on me! I think that’s it. I’ve gotten to where I can usually tell what other drivers are going to do. Some can’t be avoided, but a lot can be done if you undercut them and push them off track. Good luck, hope you decide to get back on someday. Maybe we can race.
@bsrodeo7s Unfortunately this is a cycle that won't stop. Sometimes someone will miss their braking point and completely take someone else out of the race. It happens. It's shitty, but it happens.
If you then choose to purposely punt them off track on retaliation thinking they punted you on purpose, then THEY'RE likely to respond the exact same way. And then as a result of your combined shenanigans, some innocent 3rd party gets punted off track as well and then THEY join in on the bumper cars.
Whats crazy to me is that he is actually a very skilled and fast driver, he just cant help himself ruining everyone elses fun.

As a Forza driver myself, we get drivers like this Kimi guy trolling around all the time. Are they completely annoying? Absolutely. But at the same time that’s what their purpose is, sometimes you can’t really get mad at them or else they’ll just make things worse (and I’m saying this from my personal experience).
And hey I get it that making videos to call out their BS is one thing, but on the flip side some of these trolls want this because it will make a bigger spotlight on them.
Of course I’m not saying it’s bad to make videos like this. I actually do think it helps people be aware of troll drivers like Kimi. But do be careful while doing so, as well as certain consequences from the culprit.

Key is selective revenge. I’ll leave a mental note of dirty drivers, it could be weeks later, but I’ll punish them. Key is to do it when they aren’t expecting it.

Raced agains kimi quiet a few times and had a few tussles with him but have also he a few good races with them. I do believe there is a connecting between kimi and PD. his reputation has a big impact of the races and everybody fears him. PD don’t care or are fully aware of what is going on and don’t see it as a problem and it has no bearing on high lvl racing.

I read a comment in another video that he works for PD.
It seems that Kimi Velocini has a different objective when doing these races. Most racers want to have a good race, and win, if possible. Kimi just wants to cause as much havoc as possible. Period.
I suggest a strategy to counter his objective: If you see him enter a race, WITHDRAW / QUIT. Don't race with him.
I think the best way to deal with drivers like KV would be to change the SR system to be scored out of 100k with a contact points system - then they should bias the lobbies to a narrow SR range, so that dirty drivers will end up in dirty lobbies.
I would agree I don't see why when going up a DR rating with a clean SR rating I have to wade through the low SR death lobbies
A decent penalty system would fix a lot of Kimi's antics. One thing I have noticed about Kimi, he seems to be mostly penalty proof. I don't know how he does it. You gotta hand it to him, he gets away with a lot while all around him are racking up the penalties. Shows how broken the penalty system is in GT7, which is a great shame because it is an incredibly good game.
I used to race the dailies, but there are too many rammers and push to pass drivers that i stopped. It`s hard enough to progress through the levels only to have you lose all the progress that you have made by someone who thinks it`s a good laugh to ruin your race.
Totally agree mate! There are drivers who just can't help themselves which is a shame as the vast majority just want to race clean and fair!
It'll carry on as it seems PD aren't bothered and probably enjoy the attention their game gets from him because of streamers like yourself making these videos. I can't really see anything changing unless big numbers stop playing because of him.
barely touch the wall in a qualifying time trial and your lap time is null and void, but punt someone across the track in a real race and you're golden.
I actually won a race in front of him. This very daily race, actually. He basically nuked the entire field… with me the only lucky bastard who managed to survive the craziest race you could ever imagine. One of my proudest moments in GT7

Polyphony must be aware that drivers like Kimi are causing chaos. If they were serious about sportsmanship - as per the requirement to view the s'ship video prior to participating in online racing - they'd ban him, and players like him.
They're giving a middle finger to players like you - and me - who try their hardest to face fairly. I stopped racing online for 18 months because of the poor standards, and will not race certain tracks - Monza, Mount Panorama (as an Aussie, that really hurts), for example - because they are a Mecca for dirty drivers.
Hopefully, the pressure that Forza Motorsport will bring, by implementing a system of AI race stewardship, will force PD to finally respond. If not, then I'm moving to Forza for a lot of online racing, sad to say.

Look, for the whole first lap Kimi didn't do anything, but was swarmed by people trying to wipe him out. If you didn't know the history, you'd forgive him for the brake check at the beginning of the 2nd lap, as he'd been tapped or attempted tapped by many, including DK SIM before he'd done anything. Most of the carnage isn't caused by Kimi, but people trying to take him out.
I'm not trying to resurrect Kimi's driving, just pointing out that it's the rest of the pack that's causing the chaos.

yk, i think kimi may just be a part of Polyphony, this might explain why he's never really faced any sort of repercussions, but this is just what i think.
Wasn't there some speculation that Kimi was actually a test driver? Has no one been able to dig up anything on that?

A message to Kimi, you should play Wreckfest, it's much more suited to your play style :)
theres a few things that can be done
1. on track there will be an opportunity arises for 4 or 5 cars to kettle him
2. nominate a NO KIMI day and everyone play ACC instead, PD will notice that
3. get PD to create a kick option so that if say 5 different drivers all nominate to kick a player they go (this could be open to abuse but its down to the maturity of the individual)
4. get russell to pay him a visit
I think if you get reported by 3 drivers in a race you should get a multiply day ban and made to watch an hour of Sportsmanship videos

The problem with this guy is he seems to know how to manipulate the penalty system almost. He gets away with blatant instances of pushing people off track etc and doesn't seem to get punished.
How that fezza didn’t ghost with his hit, the speed and corner cut, I’ve seen people get reset at that corner when cutting
Had another go in the dailies today at Brands. Catching third... and up comes another human toroedo and my race is over. Can't even get my alt account to a C grade because of getting rammed off nearly every single race. Really getting bored of no penalties for race wreckers.
The Oceania equivalents are called "robot-garage21 and Ho_Taho" both fast guys, but try to overtake them and they get nasty

Just raced Kimi in race C and he’s as dirty as ever!
Others have said he's had console bans and just buys new consoles, but don't know how true that is.
kimi has been a pain in many an arse but I must say he was racing clean compared to some behind him trying to punt. At the end of lap 1 he was ahead and was entitled to slow after the aggressive bump draft attempt and it's upto the person behind to pass clean. This was one of the few examples where he didn't start anything and I wouldn't blame Kimi fro retaliating if I hadn't seen him do far worse in many other races. He sent you this because for once he didn't start it, but you reep what you sow and karma caught him up for once.
The dude has the skills to keep up with fast racers and keep up yet he decides to do this and I don't know why..it's just sad he's throwing away potential that could become even greater just to be a troll
Despite GT being a massive franchise..it's report system is pretty garbage given he's STILL around
It's funny but not funny. If not a full console ban then some type of black flag penalty where he is on "probation" and so much as a small tap to a bumper leads to something akin to a 1 minute or 5 minute penalty in the race effectively disabling his car from the race.
About time there was an option to report dirty drivers! I’m fed up with the game purely cos of the grading system I’ve had nothing but clean races all week and it impossible to get out of d but you can bet if I have one little ding all that hard work being clean is for nothing because some dickhead has brake checked or rammed me off! The penalty system is a joke

I gotta say this not being banned is negatively affecting the game. I personally play on Xbox and PC and play ACC. But i’ve driven it at mates houses before. The game is excellent but people let it down. I’m a competitive ACC driver and was Top 500 in F1 games. So i could give and the cars felt authentic. Just a shame the penalty system and quality of driving let’s the game down. Especially with the GT movie giving the game a passive ability to grow but when you start racing and this happens you’d be turned off. This type of driving is what stopped me getting a PS5 cause i wanted to play GT. So i think that it’s also costing sony money and unit sales. more than just the game
Thankfully I have never been put in a race with him it’s people like him why I don’t play Forza online for some reason that game attracts a lot of dirty players

The only ban that works is when you report bad language in the chat.
I prefer to play Sport without qualifying these days, practically everytime I'm on pole, I'll get punted at the first corner. I prefer to race from the back and let the carnage unfold early on, then try to make my way up the field, usually more enjoyable and less rage inducing !
PD are having to bring in the damage changes precisely because of this idiot and the influence he has had on bad drivers who emulate his behaviour seeing him get away with it, I have no idea why they don't console ban him, maybe because everybody loves a villain

The recent GTWS Manu race showed how carefully drivers will be if they fear their car will be slowed by heavy damage.

Like it or not Kimi provides entertainment, whether its good for other drivers or not lol, I managed to get good enough to be in one of his races and asked is this the real kimi, he responded , are you a friend, I said yes, and he did not touch me . Maybe he feels like every one is out to get him

@@lufenn I don’t think I’ve ever had problems racing against Kimi. I try my hardest to give people space and not hit them, or push them wide. If you violate my space by breaking the Sportsmanship Rules, then there will be consequences. Kimi is a really fast driver. Turn 1 is usually chaos! Race clean. In real life these people wouldn’t survive to finish 1 lap. They would wreck everything and get a big fat DNF! This is why GT7 sport mode should have full mechanical damage. With realistic penalties.
its not only GT that our man does this on. F1, Iracing and others. He is a pain in the arse, but a consol ban? Not sure there is a governing body with the law on its side that can fine a person for being an arshole on a game. Maybe a suspension from the game itself, via penalty count? But PD wont be able to pick peoples pockets by law! The penalty system is a farce and needs updating!!! Other than that. People like Kimi will continue to exploit this flaw in this game and continue to ruin genuine peoples fun. The biggest problem is PD listens to NOBODY. If you aren't a multi million dollar corporation who's willing to buy into some sponsorship you are beneath them and not worthy of voice. Just the way it is.

I hate to say it but lately GT sport has become the new Forza for dirtiness. Sportsmanship doesn't exist anymore. At least in my experience anyway. Clean drivers being punished for holding the line is ridiculous. Out of ten races, Im lucky if 1 is a clean race. So much over zealousness. I stick to my mantra and continue on my way. "I don't need to be dirty to be good, karma works in mysterious ways. In order to succeed you must fail first."

It's not acceptable but read the back glass of the car "Test Penalty Car" there's only one reason why he would put that on he's reporting the Penalty flaws on gran turismo to polyphony. Whether or not that's true I have no idea. But someone has to do it.

Doesn't look like Kimi did a huge amount wrong in that race, apart from a couple of incidents. One where he brake checked someone. The other was retaliation for someone trying to take him out. Maybe that's what he was on about and why he wanted you to look at that video? It did look like, for the most part, he was trying to have a clean race but his reputation has preceded him and he's made himself a target for everyone. Of course, we don't know if he's caused carnage in an earlier race. Maybe he's starting to get fed up with the notoriety. If that's the case, the best thing he could do is start again with a new account.
I honestly believe he set this up to make himself look like the one being wronged. He knows what he's doing.

Do you think in some ways that Kimi is actually helping us to point out the major flaws in the penalty system? Let's face it he is basically exploiting the game the same way that many people do and PD are not actually changing the way their broken penalty system any more than they are fixing their dodgy roulette wheel for daily prizes. There is no denying he has some skills as far as driving goes, and I know that racers like Kimi who barge and baulk and late lunge are really annoying, but until PD actually try and do something then we are always going to have this sort of issue. I don't think banning his console will work as he just buys another, and it doesn't fix the other idiots out there doing exactly the same. IMO PD should just ghost anyone who does more than three hits within a certain time period maybe, and just clump anyone with an SR rating of E together so they can bump each other about all day if thats what drives them. What's the point in having an SR system at all if the S ranked are bundled in with the C/D/E anyway?!?
