PD need to add a vote to kick function for drivers like this. If they aren’t prepared to hand out bans, at least give the community the opportunity to soft ban these sorts of drivers.

What a race! He was in my previous one as well, apparently causing mayhem! I was a bit far back , so missed the brunt of it. What was weird though was, in that race, he made a cracking start and could quite easily have won! But Kimi being Kimi..... Leopards and spots, I suppose!?!

I understand these videos get a lot of traction but he only behaves like this precisely to get in these videos. He doesnt care if he gets punted out the race. He can be 5 seconds in the lead and slow down just to ram people. The last Rory video he did Kimi was parroting the title back to him in chat. And now we have another well known dirty driver in chat saying ‘I’m the new kimi make me famous’. PD should be called out in these videos, not the driver themselves as that’s exactly what they want. I have great respect for you Del, as a streamer and driver so I hope this doesnt come across as a moan on you, it definitely isnt; But I couldn’t race for days last week because of this clown and the notoriety he chases by being featured in these videos so I find so much content around him frustrating.

I hear you Chris! I was actually in 2 minds to make this video, as he didn’t actually impact on my race, it was only on checking the replay I saw the carnage he caused. My little rant at the end regarding PD will no doubt fall on deaf ears, but I fear that whether videos featuring Kimi are made or not, he will continue to cause the same chaos regardless as his main goal is to do it when live on streams 👎

Hey there Deadeye. Great racing from your side. As you can clearly see, it takes some of those really top drivers (you said they were) over 50% of the race to actually get you out of their slipstream. Which means you are no slouch either. Told ya there is a reason why you are a big name out there and why A LOT of people think keeping up with you is already an achievement. And if you keep this up , you could be there with the really big boys. You are not far off.
As for Kimi......well, don't think much can be said there that hasn't been said before. At this point I think the only way to get PD/Sony to do something about it is to start a huge social media campain showing what Kimi does and that PD/Sony are not doing anything about it. Something with #BanKimi as a tag.
Thanks Eric! I guess there are certain track/car combos where I defo feel confident in competing with the faster guys and this is one of them 😀 I agree, more a combined effort from GT content creators to get something done would be a good idea!
No it doesn't. . . if you know anything about top split drivers (meaning the best) being in their slip steam and still not keeping up means that you're slow. And b4 you say something stupid, I'm a top split driver in multiple different driving games and losing slip stream, ie. you having a literal defacto advantage over someone generally worth a hell of a lot of time, means you are no where near as fast as them and if you can't even maintain that for 50% of a lap, yea that's a huge no. Not meaning to talk down to this driver but in our world, that's slow.
Edit: Also, they're fighting, meaning they're going far slower than normal here.

It baffles me how he is in all the streamers lobbies. He must race perfect for a few days for a few hours everyday. Then get into these lobbies and just be a tool on purpose once he see's a known name.

Came across him yesterday. Got that message from him and nearly crapped myself.

The 155's a strange old beast - I love the way it looks, I'd love to see more touring cars in the game - and while I seem to be half decent with it at my level - mid A/S, I don't really like the way it drives (this week's quali time is a 1:48.809 (PS4/Pad), and I think I could get that to a .5 at a push)

yeah, Deadeye... the leagues used to be crazy fun and people quickly figured out that shenanigans and or horseshit would lead to a ban.... First they would get banned from the race course so the likelihood of winning anything drastically dropped, when you pay real money to enter a series there's more at stake. It wound up making team endurance races insanely competitive and 'clean at all costs' Mostly, i miss the prizes in the weekend touring series's
I think it would be really funny if the developers made him a ghost car no matter what car he’s in and if it were me I would also make his car purposely slower than everybody else
Hopefully they will be able to get Komi banned by his ip so he can't just come back on a new account. However knowing him he's probably using a VPN to protect himself against that. Great video as always Delboy!

I'm currently on a 7 day ban because of KV, had a run in with him last week and I said things in chat that I should not have done, funny I get a ban for words, but he get away with spoiling other people's races, had contacted Sony but they don't want to know
yeah its pathetic bro, people like him ruin everyone's races yet he gets to race on, people understandably upset who say things and rightfully so get banned, been there, done that lol. i find use your words on the track rather, as soon as the race is done quit, the minute u sau something u stand the chance of getting banned, even for the smallest and stupidist of things...

It is a shame. You get banned because of a clown after he have broken a race with his driving. And it looks like to be correct in words are more important then on how you behave in the game.

driver rating system is part of the problem. with all the crap he get involved in you would think his driver rating would drop him to lower rank races
I was in same lobby as him, must have been just before or just after Dels race and he was super clean. Started first and drove off into the distance.
He plays the system to stay at that rating
It seems Steering assist is what allows Kimi to come out unscathed many a time.

Honestly.... I now believe this guy is more famous than all of you GT streamers. You're literally giving him the fame! You, Rory and super GT have all made videos about this guy...and many others. Search his name and its literally about 11 videos about this bloke, before you get a Kimi Raikonen vid.. Still, if its making you money then fair play. I'm just saying...
The streamers and youtubers are also trying to bring to the attention of PD that this driver and many others are ruining the game.
The whole reason I stopped playing the online lobbies was because drivers like Kimi who manage to take everyone out and not get penalties for it.
How PD can feel that a driver can make a left turn into the side of another car down a straight away forcing them off the track doesn’t warrant a penalty is beyond me. Meanwhile I can get rear ended under braking and get a penalty for it. I gave up on multiplayer as a result.
Kimi loves the fame and attention - if we really want them to change or quit we need to ignore them, and maybe not even race them. Personally I won't race them anymore - if I see them in the same lobby loading screen I quit the game. It costs me the opportunity to race, but saves me the stress of dealing with them.
Well his livery does say "Dirty Race" so.......
All the people taking revenge are actually causing more carnage than he is himself , if you want to take him out do it smartly when no other drivers are near…

Hi @DeadEyeDelboy I had my first race with Kimi today. It wasn't too bad to be honest. He did have a very funny moment missing the pits entrance and getting reset several times in a row 🤣. So had to look him up here to see what I could find. He was racing today with a Netherlands flag... Still the same ugly pink livery and still quite rough passing other people but no nasty stuff like this, maybe he's redeemed himself? Maybe he was having a nice day? Maybe e did get banned and he's got another account and that's why the different flag, or maybe an impersonator? 🤷🏻♂️

They probably just locked his account for a time from joining public games. It's really sad we have trolls out in the world like this. I remember playing GTR2 waaaay back in the day, everyone was helpful and serious drivers. There were racing incidents but you knew the difference between hard racing and jack-off racers like Kimi. Honestly, if there are more than 10 people with video evidence it's more than enough to show this guy is just a dick online. Probably every game he plays.
How is it that I have a genuine accident bumping someone from behind cos they broke very early for a corner and I get chucked out of b dr to c but this guy can ram people in every race but still be in the a lobby’s 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

Imo kimi is part of development team of PD.
He is the most famous GT driver if you google kimi you will see the marriage.
The only way he’s going to get punted is TH-camrs start referring to him a part of the PD team.

Wonder why PD is not taking them self serious after they said that now we are gone do something about dirty driving. There is a reason why several peoples around have left online racing ore dong it less times then what they normally would. Please get the clowns/ dirty drivers banned and should be a report button for behaving in the game. And not just report for chat/ messages. Yeah Alf 🦉, in the past I have quit lobbies before the race has started when I have noticed Kimi in it. We had been told he was banned, but clearly he hasn’t been which almost suggests PD will not do anything unless he uses offensive language, which he never does.
