Do you prefer a medium spinning rod with the fourteen pound lines you mentioned? May I ask what knot you prefer for attaching the braid to flouro leader? Love the episodes and the education.

I use a medium/ medium light action for the bobber rods and use the heavier 14 lb braid so the bobber stop grips it better. Below the bobber, I put an egg sinker and a swivel which I tie the fluorocarbon leader. When I tie fluorocarbon to braid for the swim baits, I use an Alberto Knot. Thanks for watching.

Can you point me in a good direction of a guide on devils lake for some walleye fishing?

Have you ever done a multispecies video on Lake Ashtabula near Valley City? Maybe doesn't interest folks as much as Devils Lake or the Missouri River reservoirs but the lake is pretty accessible to Fargo and folks in Minnesota. Good walleye, northern and improving smallmouth fishery plus stocked with muskies. Just a thought. Also, enjoyed your video of smallmouth on Lake Audubon. Certainly no better time to be a smallmouth fisherman in the Dakotas and western MN!
