I love it up there! Such a special fishery!
+Kyle Lynn Fishing Minnesota agreed!
great video
floods this year helping wal;leye populations more minnows harder to fish.. summer time season with that many baitfish around but in a few years they will be bigger!
Looking at fishing this lake next year
Great time!
Great fish Jason how far into summer do u fish minnows or what water temp before crawlers and leeches
+Kyle Schlicht I think minnows are an option all summer. We will start using crawlers and leeches much more as soon as we start running spinners or rigs more. When these fish transition to weeds and contours.
Thanks for the show . Going to Kabetogama with my grandsons last week in June . Will be jigging. How deep of water would you fish and would you fish weeds?
We fish a lot of reefs and rock piles in 14-24 feet of water but the shallow weedlines can also be really good in 7-12 feet of water.
Thanks for the show. When exactly was this filmed? What color jigs worked best? First timer heading there with grandpas, dads and boys.
lucolson about a year ago this week. Color didn’t really seem to matter. Key was just finding fish. Good luck!
@@JasonMitchellOutdoors thanks! We are going in a month, nice to have something to look forward to in these crazy times
Good luck!
25 inches and under there that says a lot about that fishery bam
Tic outfitters of oconto , and great white tail hunting bam
What rods are you guys using?
I'm not totally sure but I'm guessing they are rods from Jason's line from clam.
