  • In this tutorial we take a look at how to transform/render down both audio and MIDI tracks with Studio One's transform feature. This can allow us to save on CPU usage, while also being able to go BACK to our original audio track with insert effects, or our original MIDI track with it's particular VST instrument and effects.

I made the move from Cakewalk Sonar to Studio One about a month ago and your tutorials have proved invaluable in me making a smoother transition - really appreciate these Quanta - cheers!

Thanks for the comment, TKP! Yeah, I think a lot of folks who used Sonar are trying to find what DAW they're going to migrate to and it seems that Studio One is garnering the attention of some. Hope you're enjoying the DAW and getting close to the speed/workflow that you had developed in Sonar. Best.

Thanks to your videos I have Quanta ;)! I've remapped the shortcuts I used most often in Sonar into S1, been practicing my draw, erase and cut shortcuts etc and have to say I'm thoroughly bowled over at how easy it's been to make the transition. But, as I said, it's all thanks to the videos you've shared which has made that transition as smooth as butter :D! Keep up the great work bud!

I use Studio One 3.5 Pro and find your videos clear, precise and in depth. The first place I go to to build my knowledge of the DAW. Much appreciated. Bye the way; keep them coming! Please.

the auto tail option could be much improved by giving you the option to select the number of Bars for the tail, not just seconds
