Boogie, this brings me so many memories... i used to play it with my friends back when i was in primary. I found my cards when i was moving out of the country, so i decided to check the prices. Most of them are from the zendikar edition, it turns out that i have 10 rare lands with a value of 50$~ each. That was my "garbage pile" back then, my deck now is worth around 400$, i bought it for 20€... Thanks :)

I don't think the new cardboard piece in the top of the lid will damage your cards. it looked to me as though they designed it in such a way that the cardboard only ran down the longer sides and not the shorter sides. In all my experience the lid has only ever damaged the end cards, and not the entire contents from the side. If they have found a way to keep the cardboard insert in the top while removing the card damaging problems this may very well be the biggest upgrade to the entire box.

They were the last 10 packs at my local store, as I was told while purchasing them. I pulled Breeding Pool expedition. Nice Christmas gift :)
Just a tipWith the exception of sets that include the transform cards, if there are nine commons in a pack there is a foil in said pack. For the transform sets, it is eight commons. I do not know for older sets and special sets
for some reason this reminds me of Bob Ross and now i cant stop comparing boogie to Bob Ross. Like hes so calm yet happy and peaceful with each card pack. He accepts the bad and good and had opened thousands of packs yet is happy to open one after another. Really its kinda peaceful

I like that consulate card. They can't cast single target spells at your or your creatures. It can block but it also nullifies all single target spells. :P

Kinda funny. During the prerelease the guy in front of me during deck building opened a Lotus Pedal, and I opened my box I bought last night and opened a Lotus Pedal. So if I woulda grabbed that box I would have 2 lotus pedals. But yah if you are thinking about starting to play magic this is a good set to come into because of how cheap everything is. Making a standard deck is cheap. The most expensive card is the new chandra. Also this set is just amazing. Simply amazing.
I've been having a laughing fit on the Visionary Augmenter. considering how the artwork looks? I think someone was an Aliens fan. Two words: Ripley + Loader.
Is it a little ironic that they technically made them *fatter* by putting a 10th booster pack in them, but change the name to *bundle*? It would seem to me that these bundles should be called *fatter packs*.

Billable Punished yes. In some earlier unboxings Boogie used to smack the last pack around a bit before opening as some weird version of a good luck charm. I did that too with the last pack and got an Invention.
I orginally did it because I was having trouble with sound. Eventually I liked the looks of it and so did a lot of other people so it just became part of the 'set dressing' as it were :P these days I can easily do it without the headphones but I love the look of it :)
That Paradox card would work well with Green Gearhulk. Play it again for another 4 +1/+1 counters as well as being able to return creatures with Pacifism and Revoke Privledge cards. =p
Ok so i use to play magic alot i would go to my local card shop and play with a bunch of people that would go, but then i stoped going to friday night magic. But i started coming back since yesterday, i bought a pack for standard cause all my old cards couldn't qualified so the deck was the Kaladesh Planswalker deck, Chandra. (Keep in mind this was the very last deck they had) The back had two boosters in it, so i opened the first one got nothing super good but go decent. The second one tho now THAT'S a different story! That black box thingy is awesome tbh. The older ones came with paper fillers inside of the Fatpack box, lot of boxes were damaged do to that.

Hey Boogie, the insert in the top half has been improved too - it no longer has the side flaps that damage your cards!
If you havent already learned, they changed the insert by removing the flaps on the short ends so that they no longer damage the cards

I believe that the regular foil gearhulk is just a tad bit more rare to open than the masterpiece version.

They cost 64 $ at Walmart in my hometown it's absolutely horrid. I'm Canadian though so that probably makes a difference.
