They taught a generation that people drop dead immediately when shot or knifed and no need to get a doctor. These detective movies were so dark, half of it would make a better radio show than a movie. The Nero Wolfe Mystery tv series was much better than this, with Timothy Hutton and Maury Chaykin, and a group of actors who played different parts in each episode as they would in the theater, very smartly written, captured the era very well. It's too good. Keeps me awake. :)

Richard Elliot also, who's in numerous films and TV shows. He's the man sitting on the porch, iterating "Youth is wasted, on the wrong people", to Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, in"It's A Wonderful Life". Plus, he was Mayberry's, first mayor. a great group of comedians who deserve your heartfelt praise, Tyrone, and from me, too. i absolutely love Mantan and his partner- they were freaking hilarious. but i think you should have included Lincoln Perry. i don’t think he deserves his bad rep at all. he was the first - he paved the way for others. and he made a fortune.
glad to see he was speaking normally in this movie - and he got the last shot!!! 🎬🎰🎼🌹🌱

Lee Larson. There are a lot more commercials in this one, but you can watch without commercials if you roll the entire film to the end & then push the replay sign. This works about 99% of the time. You have to push the timing all the way through to the finish, then push the rewind signal. It's easy & free.
