They can go toe to toe against some of the most savage chapters, two groups, Carcharadons and Executioners, found each other by chance while pillaging the remains of an abandoned vessel, none of them would back off and the resulting incident caused the almost total annihilation of both groups; that's savage, metal and pretty f*ckin stupid, the Imperium and 40K as a whole in a nutshell.
Listening I couldn't help but notice how two fold the executioners appear to be. They are highly compliant except for all the ways they aren't; unshakably loyal except when their honour pulls them in a different direction; highly disciplined, except In battle doctrine;. I guess I don't need to mention that collecting skulls as trophies, keeping detailed tallies of melee kills, and settling every dispute with bloody fighting sounds enough like a certain legion to be raising red flags to any inquisitor.
the imperial fists successors are interesting. i would love to see squads of the executioners, black templars, celestial lions, and crimson fists working together in a battlefield.
How do all of the remembrancer subs not view his video right off the drop? I mean the dude describes every bit of the lore so well he's why I've started flyin through the books as fast as I can.
Great vid Rem! These guys also sound like theyd equally great with astartes on astartes violence (especially since they don't acknowledge the ecclesiarchy-minotaurs) and straight up purging xenos. Another comment touched on this in another light. All kinds of fun teamups possible. Really enjoyed! Thanks!
Their records are still examples of what the Space Marines can accomplish with their gifts, and while they may help the traitors forces during the Badab War they are still some of the best that the Sons of Dorn are.
In their defence, when they helped the Astral Claws, it was really more of an out-of-control taxation/autonomy dispute. The MOMENT they went too far against the Salamanders, they immediately butchered the claws.
Just before a traitor Astartes, who is prone, removes his helmet, and looks upon the towering figure wielding an axe, an utters: Decapitare! *all goes black for the traitor*
The Primarch of the Space Wolves was attributed the title: Emperor's Executioner, yet this Chapter is derived from the deeds of the Imperial Fists Seneschal: Fafnir Rann who also enjoyed beheading people.
Fafnir was the heir to the Rann Tribe of Inwit and served during the Heresy, yet his Chapter weren’t part of the second founding. I am unsure why they were postponed to the third founding.
The other crazy sons of Dorn. Just not as wayward as their Black Templar brothers
“For we are come”- Fafnir Rann
I love that skeletor did a cameo just now
"May courage not fail us in battle"
-Fafnir Rann First High Executioner

That was during the badab war, where they were on opposite sides
i want a novel lol
Brother Remembrancer, once again your elucidations do justice to the Golden Throne.
".... for we are come." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Simple, and to the point, i like these guys!
'we are c*m'

there is a story written of tempars aiding the lions. it's a sort of sequel to Helsreach.
@@Lazrael32 i know that one. It featured grimaldus
How about in a deathwatch squad?
@@V.B.Squire even better
If the rumors of the Tyranids making their way to Terra. We may see another Last Wall Protocol where all these Sons of Dorn fight as one.

Love the spotlights on these successor chapters! Keep up the great work and thanks for such consistently great content!
True sons of Dorn and Fafnir Rann, one of the greatest bad asses of all Astartes

that quote got me off guard
Executioners are built different, especially in the Corcyran Massacre.
“For we are come” I heard the cyberpunk music in my head lol
"We are come" just doesn't sound threatening to me.
This is what the space wolves should be
"for we are come"
"you are what now?"
"come"
Wow this is such an interesting chapter! 🪓
Thank you covering these sons of Dorn, brother Remembrancer. I absolutely loved it!❤🙂
Thank you once again for your support Brother!
The Seventh has a handful of successor chapters, but all of them kick ass!
The fists have literally the most successor chapters after the ultramarines.
When you have a chapter created and led by a man named Fafnir(if you know the norse stories about him)your gonna be a little crazy.
Man the salamanders are just great dudes lol
Nice work on the executioners chapter
Just before a traitor Astartes, who is prone, removes his helmet, and looks upon the towering figure wielding an axe, an utters: Decapitare! *all goes black for the traitor*
“We are come”
LOL!!!!
We are come!!!! Coooooome!
Sounds more like world eaters
Skeletor became a spacemarine?!?
This Chapter is what Khorne wish he had, instead of Angry Ronald and the World Eaters
The Emperor's Headsmen? Got my attention
I bet the Red Corsairs still have issues with the Executioners. Might make for a good short story...
For we are come 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 slanesh will love his 😂😂😂
Those aren't power fists, it's just gains from excessive use...
Anybody fights off enslavers are instantly badass.
To clean minds of Heresy, they must be parted from hearts filled w/ the feld taint... 👍👍
This is a great suprise ❤❤
I’ve been trying to find the definition of “ellicose” you used at 6:19 - maybe I’m spelling it wrong? I’d love to know the definition though!
Bellicose- aggressive and willing to fight
@@TheRemembrancer ahhhh! I was hearing it wrong then - my bad. Thank you for clarifying. 🙂
I'd love to know just how long Fafnir lived if he lasted long enough to found a Chapter in the Third Founding.
👍 Awesome
The Executioners are my favorite sons of Dorn
Great vid as always, thank you Remembrancer!
These guys motto is we are come? Lol
i swear hearing that opening phrase sounds like a typo, but it isn't
I am a little lost.. weren't space wolfes Emperors executioners?
The Primarch of the Space Wolves was attributed the title: Emperor's Executioner, yet this Chapter is derived from the deeds of the Imperial Fists Seneschal: Fafnir Rann who also enjoyed beheading people.
@@TheRemembrancer Thank you kindly. Love your work. ❤
I thought they were a Second founding chapter. As Fafnir served as a Captain during the Heresy. Plus, wasn't he a Son of Inwit?
Fafnir was the heir to the Rann Tribe of Inwit and served during the Heresy, yet his Chapter weren’t part of the second founding. I am unsure why they were postponed to the third founding.
acourse the salamandars would guard there homeworld cause hell they are salamandars :)
Do the Black Dragons please 🙏.
Damn, the worthy fusion of world eaters and iron fists. Without a aholish primarch, tho.
I feel like it should be "For we have come" or "For we are here." The "For we are come" sounds... it's wrong.
So how come so many of the Imperial Fists successor chapters view the Emperor as a god, when most other Legions and their successors does not?
It’s not just the fists but we can’t deny doggy’s involvement
