The fact the first Marine meeting the Anchorite in millennia was an Imperial Fist is so poetic... The Black Templars were born from the most zealous of them (the Imperial Fists), but as a form of punishment because Dorn didn't wanted to hear any of his sons calling the Emperor a god. Yet that zealotry resulted in a weapon and a shield against the power of the Warp, and the Anchorite demonstrated the true potential of such faith.
I just love how Lorgar is trying to undo the work of his own book while one of his sons is directly responsible for the organization that's codified to the thing into the Imperium's DNA. He really has become the Ouroboros...
Lorgar was easy to manipulate by chaos when Eremus became part of the Legion. After that because Lorgar had the ability to sway people from their paths with only a handful of words made it worse.
What's funnier is that Lorgar is slowly going mad from the fact this own writings actually work - just not for him. I think deep down he actually believed the Emperor wasn't a God but can't admit that to himself as it would only compound his own failures even further.

Likely with deference, and as long estranged uncles. There might be a bit of a heated theological discussion over Monarchia as well as the Anchorite's post heresy activities, however, the Ecclesiarchy was established with the Sigillites blessing in his official capacity as regent of Terra and segmentum Solar, owing fealty to none other than the Imperial Throne itself.
The Anchorite was confused since it was revealed that it was under Gulliman's direct order that reinforcement was sent to save him. He'll never understand why would Gulliman spent his resources saving him even 10000 years later.

Bjorn is now the 2nd oldest Imperial Dreadnought
Why is your quality always so good
Rylanor was more badass but the Anchorite had a bigger and more helpful impact probably having the Imperium give more power to Big E through faith and a symbol to fight for repented and was sad enough to try to attempt Suicide and he’s as old as Bjorn instead of feeling like Bjorn a grandpa he feels like a Ex convict who found religion/Jesus or does motivational speeches and can change ones mindset or mood but also is humble enough to not state his name or have a Ego
The last word bearer the most true of the cholcisian word bearers for he was no iconoclast and no terran but he was a bearer of the emperors words and the smallest flame to what the word bearers could have been if it was not for FUCKING EREBUS
i wonder if there's a loyalist dreadnought for every traitor legion lol
One of the loyalist word bearers ❤
He, along with Rylanor and The Fel Handed are amongst the best dreadnaughts. The Anchorite is one such peculiar dreadnaught though, because supposedly they go crazy after a millenia or two, but the anchorite was interred for 10 millenia 😅 idk if it is because he is already broken to begin with, or his faith is that strong it is already madness 😂
I JUST GOT SO MUCH DOPE FROM THIS VIDEO THAT I THINK I COULD SCREAM A HOLE THROUGH MY FRONT DOOR !
Man I wish we could get more of him, he was awesome. At least we got something on Suboden Khan on White Scars codex for what I heard. Another plot point for GW's archives.
Another fantastic lore video 👌🏻
The sad thing is we probably won’t ever see this character again because the writer for Apocalypse left black library on bad terms. :(
Now we need a 30k/40k Anchorite model!!!
@@thedyingmeme6 you just need the horus heresy contemptor model, prime it in gray and you're done
That is really cool I love Warhammer lore it's always so epic and just full of I don't know awesomeness.
Lmaoo, these WB frauds thought they were ready for him (they weren't ready)
This was a good video
Him and Narek ( hopefully still alive in the next sage )are the last word bearers to believe in his holyness
Excellent content for the anathema!
Cool story! Why would they waste a contemptor dreadnought armour on a suicidal "traitor" prisoner though?
He became instrumental to the foundations of the ecclesiarty
He got a little confused. But he ultimately a good boy.
Mf actually out there in the 41st millenia with levels in cleric.
How will the Anchorite react to Bobby G and Grandpa Lion?
Likely with deference, and as long estranged uncles.
There might be a bit of a heated theological discussion over Monarchia as well as the Anchorite's post heresy activities, however, the Ecclesiarchy was established with the Sigillites blessing in his official capacity as regent of Terra and segmentum Solar, owing fealty to none other than the Imperial Throne itself.
The Anchorite was confused since it was revealed that it was under Gulliman's direct order that reinforcement was sent to save him. He'll never understand why would Gulliman spent his resources saving him even 10000 years later.
Why do I suspect he will have a very interesting role to play in 40k’s version of the end times?
You could easily make a movie from this one book
No matter what legion, Dradnaughts are always based
