Hi Becky ...Liked Your Video. My wife is planning for PRE REGISTRATION Msc Adult Nursing Course in UK. She has more than 1000 hrs of clinical nurse experience. The course has both theory and hospital Internship. So my question is after completing the course , can she apply for Registered Nurse after the course with NHS or she has to give OET, CBT and OSCE after passing the course to become RN and work for NHS Hospitals. Pls advice
@dhruvkishorebole5278, thanks for watching my video and congratulations to your wife. If she is coming to do the pre registration MSC Nursing with NMC registration, on completion, she will complete her registration as a UK nurse. She will not need to do OET or OSCE because she would have completed her masters in UK i hence would meet the English requirements and she would have done her Nursing placement during training in the UK so she will not need to fo OSCE. @whitelantern2115, if you complete msc adult nursing with nmc registration, you will need some experience in nursing and meet the requirements for the State board licensure
Hi Becky , after completing MSc nursing in uk and have got first degree in other country ... Does NMC requires ielts for NMC registration ?
@Stephy Christian, after completing MSC nursing in the UK, the graduate will not need IELTS to register with NMC because the MSC would have been completed in the uk.. IELTS academic is usually required by most universities and the required score is based on the university .

@Kachi Barbara, if you are an RN with BSc then you can apply for the one year Msce but that is full time and will not give you the nmc registration but msc in your chosen field or area. If you want to finish with nmc registration then it is the 2 year course. Alternatively if you complete your nmc registration as RN, then you can do part time msc in your own time whilst working

Any stream degree complete can i studying msc nursing
@aminivarghese7606, a few of the universities take any stream . If you have social sciences and or some work experience in health and social care, that would also help. You can go through the list of universities and see their requirements to consider.
Please can a MSC nurse student I.e already a BSC Registered Nurse in Nigeria work part time as a nurse while studying.
@ Amanda Joseph, thanks for watching. If already registered a nurse then the best option will be to go through the NMC registration process and come as a registered nurse. After a few years of working you can either self-fund MSc , there are several online Nursing MSC programmes or you can discuss that at you appraisal with your manager and see if you can be funded.

@Amanda Joseph, the pre registration MSC is aimed at people who are not nurses and because it is teo years it will be quite busy but students are allowed 20 hours a week to work so agency or bank work is doable.

@Ogu Ezinne, thanks for watching, it depends on your nursing qualification, if you have diploma then you can do top up degree with NMC registration. It is 1 year and after qualification you will get UK NMC registration as a nurse. Please watch this

If you already have a degree and one year experience as a nurse, you can do the NMC registration process and do you IELTS, cbt and finish with the OSCE. The MSC nursing with NMC registration is mostly for non nurses. Ir is 2 years and quite expensive. Have a look at the video description for links to some of the universities doing this and you can actually email them any questions you have and they will reply. I hope this helps

The 2 years.. Msc is quite expensive. If the person is ot an RN and they wish to become RN then this is a n option. I hope this helps 🙏
