  • This video was made with all sincerity, sharing my experience. I think we're all in the same boat when we say that the 1st year of any job especially nursing will likely be your worst.
I just want to encourage you to do your search before going back to school for any specialties !
If you're already a seasoned np, leave some words of advice :) Please don't forget to hit the thumbs up, as it greatly supports our channel and is COMPLETELY FREE!

My friend got an offer as a new grad FNP in Southern California for $50 an hour! She felt insulted cos she makes more than that as a Registered Nurse. She went back on the floor and declined. She has now gone back to get Her Psych Nurse Practitioner and is so much happier! She also started a side practice bcos now in California, a Nurse Practitioner can start their own practice without the help of an MD. Thank you so much for your honesty.

@@taevelli523I make the same or more at my agency if they're short. Nursing is a scam. I'm 30 years in nursing. I'm not going back to school for not one degree. Maybe for Business, economics, accounting, or an entirely different field all together. RN and APRN's are a waste of money at facilities, just a high paid nurse for nothing. The residents still being treated like sh%$ and they are still breaking down. Lacking all the way around. Lpn's Cna's are the workhorses, we can't fix anybody, we can't put the order in to fix anybody and we can't make higher paid nurses do their job. Miss me with all that.
