If you want to move city and work in the new city as HCA, you will need to apply for HCA jobs in the new city and interview as well as provide references. Unless the company you work for has a branch in the new city, and they have vacancy then you can ask for transfer and no interview will be required. @user-pv3ef4pk3g, you are right, training is important, because some may not have used washing machine or certain equipments before arriving in UK and the recruiters/ employers needed to ensure they have these basic training before being sent out to care for vulnerable people.

@mohan-cw2vl, from 1 years same salary scale, 2-4 year, increase in salary scale, then 4 years + the final increase. You will need to apply for band 6 to get higher salary.

@Mohan-cw2vl you must be a Registered nurse on the UK Nursing and midwifery register. If you are trained overseas, then you nerve at least one year experience. Then you can apply to register with NMC, you will need to complete test of competence such as IELTS and cbt. After that you will find a job in uk to do OSCE then you can work as a registered nurse.

@Mohan-cw2vl , it depends on the individual because they need to apply and interview for the next grade/ band. I know someone who was band 5 for 20 years and someone became band 7 within 4 years. There is no automatic promotion so after 1 to years at band 5, you can apply for band 6 and after another year or two ,you can apply for band 7and continue up if successful in application and interview

@aminivarghese7606, a few of the universities take any stream . If you have social sciences and or some work experience in health and social care, that would also help. You can go through the list of universities and see their requirements to consider.
