Upon successful completion of the MSc preregistration nursing course, you can register with the Nursing and Midwivery council without the need for an OSCE or a licensing exam.
Thank you dear for this video, I saw that public health msc for two years at Teesside university and also public health MSC for one year same Teesside and I am considering this route to the nursing program because public health msc two years is quite cheaper like I saw on their website £10k. Can you let me know is the tuition fees for the two years cover the duration of the two years course please.
I’ve had a look at Teesside University’s website and the MPH(applied) which last 2years is £10000 a year. According to the website, you pay that amount yearly and not for both years. I hope this gives you clarity.
Thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately, you can't choose your days for placement. However the rota for placement is usually given 3-4 weeks before the placement begins. This helps to plan ahead.
As an international student you're allowed to work 20 hrs per week during term time and more hrs when school is on holiday. However, during nursing placements which is school term time, you may not be able to work 20hrs. Some universities insist you dont work more than 48hrs per week which includes unpaid placement hours to ensure patient safety. You can save money but not so much so you need to be prepared ahead
@winifredmorah thank you for this, I'm planning on going for a pre registration nursing this January, I've got somewhere to stay, though its 1h30m away from the school... if the tuition is about 13k, will i be able to work and finance it for the 2 years
@@olagunjuifeoluwa3814 tuition fee is usually yearly not for both years. Working to pay your fees isn’t the easiest to do considering you will only be working 20 hrs per week during term time. It’s best to be prepared financially because the course itself is intense and needs focus

For the MSc pre-registration nursing (2-year) program, does one not need to appear for the OSCE or any other licensing exams?
