An absolute beauty. Poodles are the best. Our black Poodle is 8 months old and his tennisball is sacred to him. Pure devotion to the ball!
Keep on eye on his teeth using a tennisball, our poodle was the same and he chewed it so much it flattened his incisors.
Mine almost 15 yrs old now. She has been a wonderful family member. They are great dogs!

ugh i love the tail! i have a standard poodle puppy too, but the breeder got the whole litter’s tail docked. and i honestly wasn’t a fan of the shaved face at first, but it’s growing on me 😅

Mine does the same thing with the ball. Loves when I throw it but never wants to give it back. Drops it just it tease me lol.

I've been looking at Standard Poodle videos and would like to get one. But I have been reading/ hearing that alot of them have Adisons Disease and or epilepsy. That concerns me. I hope your sweet girl is healthy.
Good breeders will have the parents tested for Addisons, so it's not passed on.
I've had a mini poodle that had bad epilepsy when I was growing up. Neither of my 2 standards had seizures. One lived till he was 10 and died of a stomach cancer. The other is a healthy 2 years old. My toy girl is 14 and apart from being blind, she's very healthy.
Do u take the hair off her face or is that how poodles are naturally?

Just met a three month old yesterday. I said what color called. She said Red. I said we call it liver color in Labs.
Did Phoebe stay this red now?
How much does she weigh @ 6 months? My standard is 16weeks 25 pounds
Not sure about 6 months but she was 27 lbs at 4 months and 47 lbs at 7.5 months!

If I remember correctly, 25 inches to the shoulder! We are expecting her to fade to apricot - her mom is apricot and dad is red. From the research I’ve done that means there’s a high likelihood her coat will fade!
I’m thinking of getting one BUT I have really bad allergies….Do you think I could get one?
My wife and I have two standard poodles and one miniature poodle, and she has an allergy to all cats and most dogs. I had heard that pure bred poodles are hypoallergenic, and that has proven to be the case with us. My wife can hug the poodles with no ill effects. They are generally highly intelligent and ours stay very active in our large fenced back yard. Be sure to get references from any breeders that you find, and don’t be afraid to ask questions of the breeders. Most of the reputable breeders will offer a health guarantee. Good luck and enjoy!
There is a video on yt called 'Standard Poodles 101: The Pros and Cons of this large breed dog | PHYRRA' on a channel named 'Phyrra Nyx' where she talks about exactly that. Her allergic husband (who previously reacted very heavily to other dog breeds) was fine when they got poodles. Maybe just do as she suggests in her video, research hypoallergenic dogs and which one fits your personality best in terms of their interieur. A former colleague once ended up getting a Rhodesian Ridgeback, because he thought his wife and daughter (both super allergic against many things) would be better of with that breed, as he thought it is short haired and doesn't shed much, but it turned out they reacted to the saliva of the dog which the puppy spread everywhere around the hosue of course, so sadly they had to rehome the puppy. I don't know if that could have been prevented or tested out beforehand. Everyone is different, maybe try being around poodles for a while if you can, maybe try to contact other owners, so you will have a chance to see if you have a reaction before getting one of your own. I’m thinking of getting a poodle but not sure what size, how much taller do you think your pup will grow?
We think she will be around 50 lbs and 24 inches to the shoulder! So not too much bigger!

Beautiful Poodle!
I have a standard female that weighs 65 lbs, and she is all lean. I also have a male standard that is 55 lbs. They seem to vary in size from about 40 -65 lbs for the standards. We also have a miniature male that is about 16 lbs. The best way to get an idea is to ask the breeder what size the parents are. Then it seems to be whichever parent your pup takes after.

We had her groomed twice between the last video and this one! I think she had about 4-6 inches of hair growth
Just be careful with those types of tennis balls they WILL grind the teeth down over a bit of time. Stick to rubber instead 🤗
