In this video, we will not only show you the art of grooming this elegant breed, but also explain the differences between snap-on-combs and how to use them properly.
In this video you'll see Theo being groomed as a commercial poodle in a fast and efficient way!
We introduce the variety of snap-on-combs and use them to create the perfect look for this Bouvier. Each snap-on-comb has a different length, allowing us to achieve different cutting lengths on the coat.
We will guide you through each snap-on-comb, explaining its purpose and how to use it. From the shorter length snap-on-combs for a close shave, to the longer length snap-on-combs for a more natural look...
In addition to demonstrating the snap-on-combs, we will also show you tips and tricks for maintaining your Standard Poodle's coat! Proper coat care, brushing, and bathing techniques are essential to keeping your Poodle's coat looking healthy and beautiful.

Thanks so much for all the useful info about the trimmers and clippers, as well as the clipping advice. Theo is so gorgeous, and now I realise why my groomer told me my poodle was her favourite. She said Daisy was so good, she didn't need to put the safety lead on her, though she did anyway just for insurance. But I see what a difference it makes having a patient calm poodle, as my Daisy was too. Hope my new upcoming puppy turns out to be as good! :)

I groom my standard poodle on my own. Its fun, but scissoring is something i am not good at. This video is very helpful. Theo is a beautiful and well behaved boy!

Oh Kitty this was wonderful to watch! Theo is just the most delightful gentleman.❤ I have been grooming for almost a year, after having taught myself to groom my own standard poodle (she is 8 now) via the included videos with the clippers and videos like yours, and quite a lot of almost guess-work! Your videos help me so much.
One thing that I worry about is how long it takes me to do a groom that I am happy with. For example this video takes 1.17 to watch, but there is quite a bit that is edited out, such as washing/drying time and only one front leg, as it is not necessary to show both. 😊I understand that you have so much experience and so are able to work much more quickly/effectively than most groomers, so how long would you take to groom Theo? How long would you think was a reasonable time for a less experienced groomer to groom Theo, and then, how long would be a reasonable time to groom a dog Theo's size but with absolutely no sense of manners? -I have a number of what Australians call Groodles- Golden retriever/poodle cross- and they all seem very fidgity and are each a full day's work for me (I only work in school hours). I don't know if I am taking too long, but watching your videos I can't see that I am doing anything particularly different to be losing time. I have good Andis clippers but only standard width, and some nice cordless trimmers similar to the ones you showed, I'm very happy with my dryer, but don't have a stand for it, but that is really all I can think of that might make things easier?
Is there any advice that you can share?

I could watch you groom all day! And I love Theo, I have watched you groom him before. He has such a wonderful temperament! And, of course, I very much love poodles! I do have a question. I have two half poodle, half Afghan hound dogs. Of course, one has more of the Afghan hair, and the other has more Poodle. They are hard to groom because of the mix of hair. My question is what would be the best shampoo and conditioner for them? Also, when I dry the poodle, I can get more of a poodle style, how can I keep it that way? Very beautiful Kitty! I trim my poodle just like you, I use the attachment combs and finish her off with scissors. I enjoyed your video again, you always learn something, because her crest I don't dare to do so well with an attachment comb, but maybe I'll give it a try now.

Excellent video but the ear plucking makes me cringe. My vet said that plucking can cause micro fissure tears in the skin and can cause infections that way. She said to only clip around the outside of the ear canal. My toy Poodle had an ear infection soon after I bought her at 4 months old which was treated by the vet. She is now 1 year and 2 months old and hasn't had any more problems with her ears. Also concerning, I don't see how this cannot be very painful to the dog.

What is a commercial clip? Is that a style? Is that why you took off all the hair on his tail and didn't leave a full pom or flag/plume?
Hello , a commercial style of grooming , is the more shorter clip , for dog people at home , to maintain the dogs coat more easily . You can be as creative as you want , and the style you prefer. Like with Theo . Please don't hesitate to contact us for more questions.

I am a new subbie and I am very jealous lol this is a GORGEOUS poodle. I have a mini poodle who is the cinnamon color. His coat is soft and not even close to as thick as this dog. His ears are really straight with a thin wave to it and he’s about 8months old. Will his coat get any thicker you think? The shampoos your talking about I don’t think they sell them in United States 🤗
