How To Fix WebCam Lag and Motion Blur!

[I made this video on OBS but give it a shot on other programs if possible]
This video will show you the quickest fix to stop Motion Blur, Lag and/or Poor FPS with your webcam.
Cue the 'my left ear enjoyed this' comments.
I cannot guarantee a full fix but this is generally the issue and it's a very easy fix!

Perfectly fixed my webcam delay on obs. i wasn't dropping frames but for some reason, the webcam was a whole second delayed. PERFECT

3 years late but get in the mic properties & turn on down mix to mono & that'll fix your mic situation :)

For the people That did this and is still lagging. Press Configure video. then press Camera control and then put exposure to -4.

mmmmhh.. i have a Logitech C920 and i use NVIDIA Broadcast which tunes my webcam and creates a kind of "virtual webcam" from my physical webcam. I'm trying to do what you show in the video but the "MJEPG" option doesn't appear, only "ARGB" or "any". My problem is that when i record, the webcam looks perfect (without lag), but when the video is exported, in the final product the webcam looks laggy, nothing like how it looked DURING recording. I dont know what to do..

The software (2.12.8.exe) that I downloaded from the website for my new
C920s webcam is way more primitive than the software you're showing. It
doesn't offer enough settings to make the corrections you describe. Is
there other software I should have? Haven't found the answer on the web.
Would really appreciate any advice.

The software I use in the video is called OBS, it's a free software used for both live streaming and video recording, it takes a little setting up but it's really good!
