    I wouldn‘t call it zero latency since you can still notice a difference to the direct webcam and it doesn‘t seem 100% lip synced but for the price it‘s definitely an excellent solution. Thanks for the detailed overview!

    I came here from the other video where you show how to connect 2 cameras. You said you spent an hour troubleshooting the wifi connection problem and then your solution is to end up making the video ONLY for USB connection, mate...Not cool!
    It took me less than 10 minutes to come up with the solution, just add some in/out exceptions for advanced configuration of the firewall and check if you don't have 2 different instances of e2eSoft iVCam in this panel "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Defender Firewall\Allowed apps", if so then just check both are allowed and be sure to activate the one that works.
    It works now. Thanks for the video anyway, the lag part was pretty good...I'm getting very low lag with FHD at 24fps medium quality and RGB24.

    Thank you for your video first, but I am unable to get the settings menu you show for ivcam. There is lag in mine in 60fps in iphone 13promax in 1920x1080. and also the camera it uses is only wide angle. it does not use 1x or 3x. so when zoomed the quality degrades. but i love this. If that's the way it's supposed to be in order to show that audio is being recorded through the phones I'll buy it... if not then I think I'm just going to give up and stick with livestreaming to Facebook with just one phone like we've done for the past year.

    • @ScottFichter
      @ScottFichter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Celio, I've never un into the lag issue so I'm not gonna be of help. In order for me to fix a problem I need to be able to recreate it here. I can't I have no lag except when I turn up the resolutions to extreme levels. This is what the site says about it. Use lower video quality, smaller video size or frame rate, and be closer to your Wi-Fi router;
      Select HEVC video encoder in app settings if it's supported by your phone;
      You should have a high-performance Wi-Fi router if you're using W-Fi for connection;
      It is strongly recommended that the PC be connected to the router with a network cable. If you are using WiFi, restart your PC and try again;
      iVCam is real-time video streaming and requires high-performance network, maybe the lagging was caused by your router (especially when video lags at regular intervals), and sometimes a reboot for the router will help;
      Connecting via USB cable or enable hardware decoding in PC client software will also help (if the graphics card supports).

I do remember using my computer for it all and no ivcam and was getting serious lag. I wonderif it has to do with audio not syncing up

      Odds are you were using NDI which uses WIFI which is known for causing a good amount of lag. This is why iVcam rocks because you can use a USB connection which in most cases does not cause lag.
