I think it should work if the port for the usb can take 3.0 or just get a adaptor for it if u only have 2.0 slots available

Major thumbs up for the only video to add the extra step about the HDCP.
HDCP was the only step i was missing. it would of been nice if the instructions that came with the capture card told me about this and i didnt have to look it up on youtube....
We have been trying to use this with OBS and it has been nothing but issues, Freezing the gameplay often. Its been been a nightmare.

Does not work with Mac, Streamlabs and PS4. The Higher model works fine though (HD60s+)

Currently using with Alienware Alpha i7 and have recorded previously with this console. I'll see how it goes with PS4 but again, it has worked using PS4 in the past.
If you are using a Imac from 2012 the correct usb port to use is 4th one from the right (Closet to ethernet cable outlet).

When I’m recording where it shows how long it’s been recording for it doesn’t keep up. For example I’ll record a 20 second clip but it will only say it’s been recording for 5 seconds. Can somebody help?

I am devastated as I spent a whole $280 AUSD and I was trying to use it on a USB on my school computer as we’re allowed USB softwares, and I was up all night trying to fix this... my old family laptop broke down so we don’t have a family computer to use it on. $280 DOLLARS 💵 I WISH IT WOULD WORK! NOW I’M MISERABLE 😭 I CAN’T RECORD GAMEPLAY LIKE I USED TOO! I HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO UPLOAD FOR 2 MONTHS NOW 😢 I SPENT MY OWN TIME CHECKING MY LAPTOP’S SPECS! LENOVO YOGA THINKPAD 370! IT HAS THE REQUIREMENTS! INTEL HD, i5 7 GENERATION GPU AND YOU ONLY NEED GENERATION 4, I HAVE THE WINDOWS 10 64BIT SOFTWARE, INTERNET CONNECTION, AND 2 USB 3.0 PORTS. I’M.P SORRY FOR THIS RANT, BUT I AM SOOO SAD... I have no way of using this device... $280 down the drain...and I can’t return this too JB-HI FI since it’s past the date of warranty... whyyyyyyy. Ok, so here’s what I found. I think you might need a new monitor bc I bought a new monitor and it worked just fine. I hope this helps 😀
You have to go to settings in PS4 and turn off something

My stream can hear and see everything great, but I can’t hear any of my PS4’s audio?! If I plug it into a splitter the audio also sounds very poor

I might (and I really mean *might* ) have solved it. Try plugging and replugging your headset until the audio sounds good for you. It worked for me although really fucking inconvenient
It use to work. Everything is plugged in correctly, I believe. And nothing is showing up on the monitor

I had recently got this HD60s and my computer doesn't meet the requirements for the software (as I expected it wouldn't) I'm working on a set up but I am on a budget... you guys at the elgato Team (or anyone one else who have expert opinions or suggestions) have any suggestions on what I should think about purchasing when it comes to supporting the latest Elgato software?? where do you go to get to the settings
havent streamed from PS4 for a while, and now when i press "start stream" nothing happens, the digits that counts the time for how long your stream has been up is not counting so it dont get sent out to twitch.

USB-C is the same as USB-3 right??
USB-C is a type of termination. The cable we include with the HD60 S is a USB 3 cable that has a USB-C termination. ^Jeff

Can someone tell me why my gameplay records in fast forward . I'm on ps4 using a MacBook . I've tried it in 1080 and 720 same result I can't find any videos online how to fix this. When I play back the video it's like x4 it's normal speed

I have a problem... The image quality is not sharp at all. I've tried several usb port in 3.0, several hdmi cable and tried on my desktop screen and tv, and it's still the same. I have some trouble to make the quality looks sharper...
I've putted everything max out in the game capture HD settings and it's still the same...
And when i'm connecting my ps4 directly to the TV, the image is sharper.
