Excellent job on the interior, looks great👍 That fiber optics headliner is awesome. The amount of labor must have been nuts. I shudder to think what a dealer labor book would charge for that😳. How many hours did that take? I have some questions on the seats. It's done now and looks great but 1, why not just bend the scatpack seat back to it's original form? 2, of that was not possible could you have swapped out the scatpack seat back onto the pursuit seat? Finally, adding the cigarette lighter 12 volt y cable, there has to be a less bulky way to do that, some sort of USB c conversion with a voltage converter? That car is getting a great transformation. I look forward to the future videos on this!
Thanks so much for your view and your comment! The headliner was definitely a good amount of time and work but it wasn’t too bad. We just threw some on some reggae and sat in the shade to crank it out. It probably took us a total of maybe 4 hours or so? But yeah I can’t imagine getting this done at a big shop😳 The seat had that bent bar, but it was also bent and cracked in another spot that I didn’t show, I don’t think I could’ve ever gotten it bent back well enough that it would sit right. SWEET! I love the starlight headliner, especially with it lit up in blue. So unbelievably cool. Excellent idea to wrap the center of the steering wheel. It desperately needed something. New seats look great. All it needs are wheels and a cool wrap to match the headliner. For some reason I keep picturing it in a metallic charcoal pearl with lots of flakes to mimic a diamond impregnated paint job. How is it mechanically? I'm also curious about the choice to keep the metal center console. Does it affect hip and knee room?
@@moremustard Thanks so much man!!!! Good to hear from you!! This was my first starlight headliner and I love it, I might go do it in everything else😂 Yeah that steering wheel was still an eyesore with that piece, glad we got that wrapped and looking new! Can’t wait to get some wheels and a new wrap on there, a charcoal metallic would be sweet! Mechanically this thing is pretty sound, I’m taking it to a dodge dealer here soon for a full inspection but it runs, drives, and idles great!! Center console does t affect hip/knees at all too!
@@Atlanticbeachcustoms The headliner turned out nicely. Great first attempt. Ever since I saw the one in the RR Phantom years ago, I have always low-key wanted one. And my car is black with a black interior-would look cool. Good call to take it to the OEM for a proper inspection. I do that with every car I buy. They just charge for one hour of shop labor, and it is very worth it. I hope it checks out clean! That’s awesome about the console. It definitely provides a different look, and the broad flat surface will come in handy I’m sure. Needs a carbon fiber wrap, maybe?

Hey man this build is coming out incredible! I’ve got a 2017 pursuit AWD HEMI myself and I’ve been building the interior as well. I’ve got the exact same wheel you’ve got! I did have a few questions about the headliner, since you’ve now convinced me that needs to be done cause it looks awesome! First, what did you do with the hole that the dome light leaves? As far as I am aware, you pretty much have to either leave the hole or get the headliner out of a civilian charger to get rid of it. Did you find another solution? Also, as far as powering the starlight’s, couldn’t you hardwire it into the fuse box and use a fuse associated with the headlights so they automatically turn on at night? Stars only come on at night, after all! Finally, what kit did you use? Thanks a ton man and I’m stoked to see how you widebody it. There isn’t a ton of info online in regards to widebodying the AWD so I’ll be using you as a guide! Take care!
@@Hybrid14 Hey man thanks a ton! That’s so cool to find fellow pursuit owners especially with the AWD 5.7!😈 I love the steering wheel so much! For the headliner I just covered the whole with some black fabric so it’s not open, but if you look close you can still see the cutout. I haven’t decided what I want to do with that quite yet. Yeah you could wire it up that way for sure! I just wanted it off of something that would be easy to replace and since I wanted cigarette lighters I just figured it’d be easier for me to run it off that. I’ll link the kit below, 👇 I can’t wait to widebody this thing, it’s crazy there is no content out there on widebody pursuits. Guess we are gonna change that! Since you’re keeping the console, you can get blank plates from the console manufacturer to cover that giant hole, you could also get plates that have the rectangle, cut outs for switches and use those switches for lights or other accessories
Also, the 12 and three button on the steering column, lower right, should trigger relays somewhere in the wiring, you should be able to find an outfitter guide on the Internet

@@moremustardOh man that black on black would be awesome!! I Finally got the courage to do it thanks to this thing being stripped already😂 Yeah exactly!!! Super worth the price for those inspections. I Like the carbon idea… would go sweet with the steering wheel🙌
@@moremustardThanks for sticking around my friend!
@@Atlanticbeachcustoms that was exactly the thought I had that it would go great with the steering wheel.

Bro this is awesome. Quick question do you plan on body filling the spotlight holes and the holes from the pursuit lights? These cars IMO look a bit odd with that stuff left on and what not
Thanks!! Yeah I’m definitely going to get those filled/covered. I agree they do take away from the look, will be nice to clean up the exterior now!
Looks great!!! The USB hub on the side of the console should have had two power outlets connected to it. Mine does. Are you planning on getting a civilian center console?
@@Hamsalad2 Oh good to know I’ll have to go double check!! I’m thinking that I’ll keep this one, just weld up a cover over the hole. What do you think??🤔🤔
@@Atlanticbeachcustoms I personally would go with a civilian console but you do what makes you happy. If you end up going with the 8.4 screen and it has CarPlay be sure to get the matching USB hub.
@@Hamsalad2matching usb hub got it! Definitely want tho upgrade that screen and I think I will look around for that new center console!

New exhaust time
@@Gutierrez_-kd8sf Yessir we have that planned here soon…😈😈😈
Thanks again for your watch and your support, stay tuned😄😈

@@madrabbitt Oh really? Any idea where I can get those plates? I am currently trying to make my own out of some sheet metal😂

@@Atlanticbeachcustoms depends on the console manufacturer, but police upfit companies can get them and sell them. if its a havis or a jotto, blank plates are on ebay too

The transformation in this video alone is insane. Your work is incredible dude. Question. With the black wrap you added to the steering wheel, did you think about doing red to match the trim? Is it legal to drive with the red headlights? They look like they could be mistaken for tail lights at a distance and be confusing.
