@@djangosouthwest6043 it was.much better.
No, they lasted so long because they were boiled and canned.
D Can I don't know the new canned foods from the 80s and 90s with The Ridges inside you can get metal poisoning from them they are not built like the ones from the 60s and 70s
The can opener look as old as them 1962 cans. What was that green stuff in there?. Your idea of a boil is in my opinion, questionable :-D
I want to scream and tell him to wait til it's rolling boil. But I guess it isnt needed, he didnt eat all of the stuff.
@@bean9333;That a relief, If yer gunna eat old stuff ya gotta prepare it right !! See ya !!...
Right! He didnt even let it really bubble at all or come back to a good boil before he lowered the heat to simmer. Idk why it bothers me so much but 😂
@@kimberlynichole5572 Well if you do your own cooking like me, there's your answer. It is what it is I guess !!!.
vetterfellow what
Dude! Where did you get my mom's can opener? LOL
right..that can opener was right out of 1962 all so.
I love relaxing to your vids at night and the sound of that can opener brings back fond memories of something good being cooked up by my mom. Not gonna lie I was ready to dive in those fruits they looked surprisingly good
These videos have become sort of my guilty pleasure lmfao I love them
Fruit from those days werent filled with monsonto round up and whatever other poisons...
Nah, just DDT, Malathion, arsenic, can seams soldered using lead, etc.. You know, things that were safe back then.
It’s still like that today lmao

@@thisisabadchannel.stopsubs2952 That is not how it is spelled. Are you and karisma3211 the same person?
Bruh, it's like the mood all changed after you ate that prune lmao hope ur okay 😜
He was regretting this really hard.😂
You are braver than I would be. I wouldn't have touched em, let alone eaten any of it. 🤐
Hell, I would be scared to even open it.
I would have eaten the apples :D but the prunes looked a bit suspicous 😂
Kathy Bowlby IKR. I would not have bought that crap. Let alone taste it. Just like now, if the expiration date was from 57 years ago or that’s when they say one was canned, then add 10 years to that. The crap we buy now from the store is already 10 years old before it hits the shelf
@@melthomas6519 You got that right!
I love how he said, "And now I am going to open up my...Pa-runes" 🤣
A young gentleman to his cougar “ for being that old, it’s got a lot of flavour...it’s got a lot of flavour for its age” 💀
Smells good for its age...
One of the funniest lyrics I ever heard goes as follows (sung to the tune of Wild Thing)
Prune Juice
You make my bowels loose
You send everything right thru me
Prune Juice
I think you move me
Yes, that's hilarious. No. Really
Awesome !!!!!!!! 😂
U can make a canned food history scrapbook
Never in a million years would’ve guessed those were prunes. Rocks, maybe.

Man I love this guy. The way he says, "they're pitted", just cracked me up. These videos are what TH-cam was meant for. 😂
I wonder what the 60's tasted like .. Great videos bro 👍👍
I didn’t know it was dehydrated; I thought it was in liquid. The first can looked horrible until I realized that!
Yes same here and he was saying this looks very good .I was i gotta subscribe cause this dude is nuts that stuff looked real bad to me .Then it hit me dehydrated. OH WELL.
That Zepher Canning company was probably the top canner of Florida. Look at the condition of that fruit and cans. eceptional quality. :-)
Dad: ''They're ok just don't eat the bad parts''
It’s crazy to know that Helen Keller was alive when these cans were made
You've got pre-Beatles canned fruit there.
