    This is so good! Here's what I love about this video: 1. The phrases are super practical, and taught in phrase form, rather than overexplaining grammar. 2. There's sufficient repetition. Most videos on language learning go too fast, and you don't actually retain what you learned. 3. It's broken into nice small chunks. Too many language learning videos also try to pack too much into too little time, and the end result is that nothing gets retained. 4. It's applied in a real-life conversation. 5. The background decor, music, etc. is all appealing and gives an exciting "Persian" vibe. Great work!

    My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

      It is : Man hastam

      For example : Man Simin hastam

      Informal: Khoob khaabeedee? Formal: Khoob khaabeedeed?
      Below is more information:
      Informal:
      Did you sleep well? (informal) ...... Khoob khaabeedee?
      Also common to use:
      Did you sleep well last night? (informal)..... Deeshab khoob khaabeedee?
      or you can place deeshab (last night) at the end of the sentence:
      Did you sleep well last night? (formal) ...... Khoob khaabeedee Deeshab?
      Formal:
      Did you sleep well? (formal) ...... Khoob khaabeedeed? (Note the "d" at the end)
      Did you sleep well last night? (formal) ...... Deeshab Khoob khaabeedeed? or you can place deeshab (last night) at the end of the sentence:
      Did you sleep well last night? (formal) ...... Khoob khaabeedeed Deeshab?

    Unless Farsi has adopted some French words over time in regards to "merci." I believe the Farsi language to be older than French. Persia is one of the oldest surviving cultures on the planet.

    Trust me people! "Merci" is not that common between Persian speakers specially those who try not to indicate being an upscale! it would be more natural if you use "MAMNOON" instead which is an Arabic word and informal. another alternative is "SEPAAS" which quite has a literary and formal sense.

      +MASA I work with Persians. That's why I am here to learn this. They all use 'merci'. They have never made mention to me of Mamnoon or Sepaas.

    • @Iman-Global
      @Iman-Global 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +MASA Sorry, I have to disagree. The word "Merci" is very common and the majority of the people in Iran don't say "Sepaas" for Thanks, unless you read a classical book, an epic, a heroic poem. It means the word "Sepaas" for Thanks sounds very poetic. The word "Sepaas" might be used in some specific parts of Iran or maybe in other Farsi speaking countries, but the majority of the people in Iran say for "Thank You" one of the following words: Merci, Mamnoon, Moteshakeram.

    • @sarpar523

    • @ThinkAbstract
      @ThinkAbstract 6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Stop being nationalistic lmao, saying ba dorood to a Persian sounds autistic. Nothing wrong with saying salam, literally 99% of the Persians say salam and not ba dorood. It's just those that learn a bit about our past history and all the sudden want to separate themselves from the current Iranian affairs.

    • @hanifleylabi8071
      @hanifleylabi8071 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      literally no one says ba dorood except weird Persian nationalists on youtube comments. About 1/3 of Farsi words comes from Arabic, I think hundreds of years we should now just deal with it and move on...
