Scorpion cuts sub zero in half

I laughed more than I should have.
Looking at the composition of when scorpion gets cut in half, it serves as a good reminder for how the kanji should look, like a line right down the middle
This such a good way to learn vocabulary. Three forms of repetition, visual association, audio association, and finally two different voices. Thanks you so much. Also Mortal Combat is a great choice for 半.

when the Jenova music started playing at お母さん I lost my mind. Thank you for these videos, they are perfect to keep my japanese fresh when I dont have anyone to practice with.
I think the one's where there's a sample sentence were a bit more helpful then just the videos.
Yeah I definitely agree! The reason why they dont all have examples is that would have taken weeks to find all the examples/translate etc, but also not every word is used commonly in media like Video Games, so its hard to get example sentences for absolutely everything

This is really great since I don't get many opportunities to use japanese (I did find a crew of native japanese speakers but I'm not at a level where I can even come close to joining properly). I will say though putting in words like sensei, words that have probably been memed to the point it's an english word as well, is funny to me.
Yes I know not everyone knows what a sensei is, even those actually learning japanese, I just find it funny I can say sensei in any room and a good number of people, even those that aren't interested in the language, would probably know what I'm saying.
Edit: You are the expert here, obviously, but hopefully you read this. An interesting idea I had might be for words that sound similar to their english counterpart (america, amerika. Pen, pen. Egypt, egypto and so on), might be an interesting idea to just gloss over it, or make a dedicated video showcasing the words like that, so the other words that are different have more time.
There might be something I'm obviously missing, like maybe there are enough words that sound similar but are completely different, that this idea wouldn't work, but thought I'd share it anyway.

Mistake at 29:30 you revealed the answer along with the word
When i type さい for years old the kanji doesn’t pop up and when i looked it up it said とし is years old. Is this something that changed over time or something?
There are different readings for kanji used in different words :) さい isnt usually used by itself like that, its used after a number like 35歳 like 35 'years old', とし however is a word by itself for 'year/age'
