    It is some time I've had this tip to share and then there is this Persian tutorial I have the chance to introduce tha Iranian attitude towards this magnificent bird. In Farsi culture an "owl" is sinister and inauspicious. As it flies over a building, as the superstition goes, the owl brings destruction and famine. Therefore next time, will you teach the Persian equivalent of "owl".
    By the way remember to say the middle "m" in my name three times longer and louder. Thank you

      Desire is "meyl" so "without desire" will be "bee-meyl."

    Some people use "dooset daram" instead of "doosTet daram". What is the difference? Does the "t" make the sentence more powerful?

      I love you conversational is Dooset Daram, but literary is Doostet Daram
      We write doostet daram, but we say dooset daram :)

      It is "rooh-e man" as you mentioned, but remember that in Farsi the sound "h" is soft.

      It is exactly as you wrote it: Jee as in the name of the letter "G" in English and -gar-am, both with short vowel "a" as in "cat."

      We don't have an exact translation for that, but in the classical literature we had "yaar-e jaani" ("friend of the soul"), and in modern literature "nime-ye gom-shode" ("the lost half") has been used.

    I love the way you explain in your videos - but it would be so much more helpful to students if you displayed the individual words in English phonetically as well. Sometimes with your accent I'm not sure if I am hearing the right letters... especially when a word trails off.
