    Funny that you mention silence when others are complaining about the noise from the pump being noticeable from across the room.

    Should i get this AIO for the 14900k?.... im looking for performance, I do render and use heavy 3d apps., I don't care about aesthetics .

    Question for Robeytech. When you receive an AIO to test, do you use the stock applied thermal paste or do you use your own? If you do not because you want the tests to be on an even level, would you recommend cleaning off theirs in place of your own? Have you tested the stock applied vs your own? Thanks

    • @robeytech
      @robeytech  ปีที่แล้ว

      We use our own so we can make the comparison apples to apples.

    I just don't understand why you'd get this over the corsair one considering the lcd screen vs the dot matrix since you could just use pixel or dot art on an LCD. Odd pricing imo. 50 dollars cheaper and it would be a better value prop imo

      It’s a huge screen and cools much better. But that being said. You’re very limited with the animations.

    I have this. My only gripe is that it will not show custom animations no matter what you do

    I definitely think for what it is the Ryuo III is a bit overpriced… I think the upcoming Asetek 8th-gen Ryujin III should be priced at the current Ryuo III price but ASUS are just going to mark up the price a lot more…
    And I think ASUS have definitely made a mistake in not making their ARGB radiator fans available separately. Buying a new ASUS cooler just to get either the ARGB fans or the new pump is not a good investment…
    Comparing the specs of the same set of ARGB fans used in both the Ryuo III and the Ryujin II and a different set of ARGB fans in the Strix LC II cooler, the LC fans have stronger airflow and static pressure statistics, but it almost seems like the radiator fans need a comparison video of their own to determine whether they’d make a difference to the ROG AIOs…

      Has there been any confirmation of the Ryjin III? I assumed that was the case since they couldn't replace my Ryujin II.

      Everything ROG related have a Premium Tax Price put into it.
      Asus ROG it's basically the Apple of the Gaming Market, you are paying more for the brand rather than the product itself.

      @@FlopsyJChristianson Ryujin III outperforms Ryujin II... not that hard, Ryujin III have the latest 8th gen Asetek pump while Ryujin II uses 7th gen.

    I'm build a ITX case basically entirely ROG Strix, but this AIO was just a missed opportunity to me, this LED screen is just dumb, also if you matter the fact that the Ryujin pump block is ugly as fuck (that shit looks like an air conditioner condenser we see outside buildings lmao) but has a screen, it's more dumber.
    Also for the price I could get a better performing AIO tho, like a Lian Li GA Performance or EK Nucleus CR360.

    I'm an ASUS Fanboy but I still would pass on this for the price. It would be better suited at the $220 mark simply because it's limited as compared to NZXT and Corsair in term of functionality. The Animatrix is cool but it's so one dimensional.
