You can skip that by using a thin sheet of magnet actually since the hub is metal. At least that's the reason for that material choice if my assumptions are correct.
@@octoslut This is totally untrue. Pretty much every brand, at some point releases a high end board with poor cooling around the socket. Reviewers point this out regularly. If you want to purchase a board with bad cooling, nobody is stopping you.
Jay, could you make a video detailing how to install the ryujin 2 from the mounting to the cables and stuff? I'm interested in this AIO but I'm a total noob and have some level of learning disability so I'm easily confused by the cables and stuff. I've actually been using the old version for some years now and it's performing really well. They fixed the quality issues you hade with yours fairly quickly. The only issue I have with it is that the screen has burn in of every single sensor icon I'm using despite them constantly alternating.
You forgot to test (or mention) how effective the VRM cooling is. Was looking forward to hearing how effective it is from the moment you showed the fan underneath the display.
I have the first ryujin and it keeps them cool with just precision boost overdrive activated on my dark hero board. I'm running a ryzen 9 5950x and a red devil 6800xt with two sticks of corsair vengeance in a cougar panzer max case. When I put my hand over the exhaust (in my room that stays at 65° year round) I feel literally NO heat. Btw. I have my 750w psu venting in through the back of the case and immediately out thru the bottom of the case. Next to it on the bottom of the case I put an extra fan for exhaust because there's a plastic partition that separates the lower third of the case from the rest of the case. The oled on the cooler never reads over 30C while playing games and usually stays below 25c while idol or just watching Netflix. I don't think I've turned it off sense I built it.
Yet another statement from Jay that shows how limited his knowledge is - talking about how the vrms and ram need cooling - this has been repeatedly shown to NOT be the case by Gamers Nexus and HardwareUnboxed (unless you have a cheap Asrock board in which case you need all the help you can get). Jays statement seems to be very pandering to a minor feature of this, almost as if he was asked to say it. This entire video is basically an advert and pretty poor tech journalism.
Arctic Liquid freezer 2 also has a small fan for circulating a bit of air around the VRMs , RAM etc. This is especially useful for those cases/builds where there's no decent air circulation within the case itself
@Mirsad Redzovic amazing, yes. the next level after that (in terms of function) would be a custom loop. and I also have it on 5950X . working great, looks nice and no difference if I boot windows or Linux. :)
It's "REE-YOU-GEEN" not "RA-YOU-GEN"! I have the Ryujin 240 for over 2 years now and I love it! On a i9-9900k the Noctua fans are still while idling. I added some LED Halo Rings from Phantheks in between the fans and the the radiator so the lighting is also fixed. I'll definitely buy this new 360 for my next build. Also, Armory Crate is FINALLY working properly but it took way too long.
Trends I would like to see in the PC market next year (inspired by Noctua's collaboration with ASUS): 1. GPUs that allow users to add any standard 120mm fan for cooling 2. AIOs sold without any included fans Imagine the flexibility it would give PC builders to customize their machines (without generating tons of e-waste) Of course prices should be adjusted accordingly.
You can use any fans you want on an aio tho? I have the 1st Gen if ryuigen and put better fans on it..I wish they included a tool go pop off the cooling lines for routing purposes

I just put in my build the new Aorus cooler, also comes with a screen on the pump which you can customise in the software (I have it display the CPU's temp), has RGB in the fans and I have been very impressed with it. It's 240mm and it's cooling an intel i7 12th gen and on idle I'm getting 28-29 degrees Celsius, when gaming or doing video editing it will go to about 55C. The ROG AIO here in the UK costs about 100 pounds more than the Aorus one, and I didn't see anything in this video that justifies that price difference, so I think I would have made the same choice again.
And that tiny fan is just as trash...each time I install the LF II i disconnect that fan right away. It does nothing except for being noisy and very noisy after about a year or so.

That's a giant pump block with that fan in it. I went with the phanteks Glacier One 360MP because if you take the cover of the pump it's the lowest profile Asetek pump block I could find. I used the NZXT Kraken G12 bracket to mount it to my Radeon 5700XT and it's still a two-slot card with the pump on it. Not the intended use case but it works well.
I bought this earlier in the month and now I finished buying the rest of my first gaming rig. I hope it can keep the i9-13900K cool, picked it up on sale for $100 off MSRP and just recently learned that its a very hot CPU.
I got it for $189 technically $204 with shipping. Newegg wanted $400 and multiple others wanted $350 plus. Shits ass dawg. Only caveat is that it takes a month to get here. It’s whatever I don’t have the GPU or SSD yet…
My RYUO 240 has screen burn in. Asus said I can send it in for warranty. They will not cross ship a new unit so I can still use my PC and not wait weeks for the replacement to arrive. This is why I'm getting a Kraken Z soon.

google has the craziest results on this. I personally reapply fresh thermal paste once a year, but I use my hardware a lot and it's just what I do. most cases, 2-3 years is fine. dust management on the other hand should be done quite regularly, once a week, once every other week.
Im just lazy but never had a problem with poor maintainance. My old PC survived 7 years on same thermal paste and very little cleaning, everyday use. From my experience PC hardware is generally more durable than one might think. Under 100C and no driver issues and it probably wont randomly die. Obviously if you care about your components it doesnt hurt to clean it once a year.
I've never reapplied thermal paste just as a matter of maintenance. I'm running a 4700k on a PC that's been in use for like 18 hours a day for over 8 years, and there's never been a change in core temperatures that would indicate a need for reapplication. I would suggest recording your temps soon after building so you have a comparison point a year later and can decide for yourself. If the temps don't change, I don't see why there would be any reason to do this.
@@internisus my temps aren't an issue. like I said in my first reply, it's just what I do. you get a 5g tube of paste with a shelf life of about 3 years, worth the purchase with a yearly refresh tbh.
Ekwb Elite RGB still has the nicest CPU waterblock imho. Asus ROG is nice yet also expensive and not worth the extra money considering performance between Artic and EKWB
Not to mention that it is now a really old design with just a fancy screwed glued on. From a cooling perspective this gets murdered by EK and Arctic models.

It is a difficult name, but "R " from "righteous", "YU" from "you", and "JIN" from "gin". Basically the "R" isn't "are". Sometimes random YT vids can be helpful. Would have loved to have gotten one of the these for my build. I have a Corsair 150i Pro. My temps still seem to be high, 35 to 40 degrees on semi-idle on my 5900X, I think I need to re-paste my CPU.
It's pretty cool, something I've wanted since the Kraken Z is the ability to customize a little screen in my PC to look like an old-school JDM style boost gauge. It's such a shame you can only choose between an animated GIF or a couple of pre-baked system values.
I love this AIO cooler! It comes with very efficient fans and you barely notices it under load. The software side is not the best though, Armoury crate can lag sometimes and doesn't let you choose too large gifs or videos to put on the display. All-in-all it's a must have for the price/performance ratio!
Yes, the other componetns need moving air, too. Thats the reason i cool my pcs just with air instead of water. These AIO often have to be replaced after 2-3 years. After that the danger of leaks raise dangerous high. Or Pump failures etc. I had enough PCs in my workshop with leaking AIOs. I hate them... BUT i have to say, this thing here is kinda cool with that display. I JUST WANT THAT DISPLAY!
I am also team aircooling. I was thinking about an aio when i built my o11 xl system. But i kept with bequiet dark rock 4. I even think air coolers are way more sexy ;)
@@audiophobia82 I have several PCs here. One is a Ryzen 3700x with an Alpenföhn Brocken 3 to cool it. The other is a Ryzen 3900x with a Scythe Mugen Rev. 2 TUF Version to cool it. Both work great. Watercooling is at the end an aircooler too. But with a detour. I have tested several AIO, yes the temps are more stable for a few hours. BUT if the fluid is warm, maybe cause you render for 10 hours, you cant get it cool without shutdown the pc. With Air Cooling you put the fans 2-5 minutes to max and the system is cool again.
I've been using AIOs for many years now. Never had any issues. No need to replace, I had my first for like 6 years and it was still working perfectly when I sold it. I guess it depends on the quality. I don't buy cheap.
@@TobiasRieperGER That detour is important. You get a much bigger surface area and you can dump the heat outside of the case. Plus you get a lot inertia. Cars use liquid cooling too, gas and electric. Why do yo care about cooling down? If you can run your PC for hours without overheating, what's the problem? Who cares if the fluid is warm.
@@andrasbiro3007 First, why the hell do you double posting? Use Edit. Second, IF Fluid gets warm, there is no chance to get it cold again. Rendering for several hours could bring fluid temps to 60-65°C. Now you stop the work, fluid stays in this temps for long time even after finisching rendering. Now your CPU produce 35°C and is flooded with 60° fluid. Now it works in the other direction. Do you know what diffusion is? Fluid become less over time. So your watercooling unit, even if it is a closed system, loose fluid. It disappears thru the rubber, seals or whatever. And in most AIO you can't fill it up. In a Custom Loop you can, but there you have to switch out the fluid all few years, cause it gets bad over time. Jay made a video about that. I say that, cause i bet you will not believe me. So listen to another pro. Resaon for that is material mix. Most units have copper pump housings and aluminium radiators. These don't fit together and produce rust in the system. That can clog up the pump and other stuff. As i said, my 3900x renders, it has just a simple Scythe Mugen on it. This thing just reach 65°C with overclock to 4200 mhz on all 12 cores. After work, fans go down to normal, after 2 minutes CPU is at 35°C again. And if i render for hours, there is no change to it. Watercooling is always louder than simple air cooling. I have 7 fans in my cases. The loudest one is the PSU. Its a Be Quiet Pure Power 11. Even my GPU has a semi passive mode and just turns the fans when starting the PC. After the boot it never makes any noise. And pls explain to me, how i can install a AIO so the radiator is outside the case without dismantle it or cutting my case? And where do i have to mount the radiator when it is outside the case? And how long the AIO lasts is not a simple messure. It counts how many hours it runs per day and what speed the pump goes. I have seen several units where the pump just stopped, cause it clogged up or just broke. The rubber hoses are often simple cheap ones, no reinforcements or so. They become hard and porous. The same with sealings. So why should i risk a leak that could destroy my expensive hardware? All in all my PCs are worth 2000-2500 Bucks (before Chip Crisis) and today 3500 bucks. All works, all is cool, all is silent. No ticking time bomb in my case. And cause i use liquid metal thermal paste, i have to check it once in 10 years. Sorry, all in all Watercooling just has disadvantages, and we haven't talked about the price. Maybe you need watercooling for power guzzling Intel CPUs, but who the hell still buys those wasters?
I really like the idea of having a fan on the CPU coldplate/pump to help cool down the VRMs and chokes. I've only seen a couple of AIOs with this feature though - really needs to become more standard as VRMS on a high-end system can easily hit over 100 degrees C (In Win have an articulating fan which you can mount on the top of the case and position above the VRMs, but its expensive and despite being an elegant and well designed product still looks a bit odd/borderline jank and has no RGB lol)
I think I've reached the point where I need to replace my AIO (Been about 4 years at least on this rig?) but I want to replace my case first. I love this case but the front vents are a 1inch wide strap down the side? Wtf I failed here
Only 4 years? The Corsair H50 (I believe!) 120mm AIO that has been on my 4770K rig has only been reposted once in the 7/8 years since I built it!!!! Temps are still the same even under consistent heavy loads re-encoding video fromh 2160p H264 to HEVC/x265 that they were when it was first installed. I thought I would have had to replace it by now due to evaporation of the liquid over that time span. When I replace the H110i in my 8700 rig, I will then put that on the 4770K & retire the H50/H50i/whatever it is (or buy a decent air cooler for it as it is just used for encoding video & as my Plex server.
what do you mean you "don't know why they didn't use the black ones on the 3070?" The fans on the 3070 are the a12x25, Noctua's most advanced fans. People were pissed for a long time that they weren't offered in black but apparently the pigment used in the plastic can cause problems over time at high RPM so it requires a lot of R&D to get right. They do sell black a12x25 now, but to be clear the fans on this AIO are not a12x25, they're an older model.
Nothing fully covers 12th gen right now, it's bullshit people are still not talking about this, the first version of the cooler in this video was proven to be the absolute worst for contact deeming it useless. And everyone wonders why they have heat problems on 12th gen
I got mine a few weeks ago upgrade from the first one and it's definitely an improvement, love that they gave us a control box with the amount of cables we had on the first one it was a mess. Uk price I paid was about £300

Hey Jay, I just fitted my new Deepcool 750w modular PSU. I wanted modular because I wanted LESS rats nest. But it is just as bad, with extra bits hanging off. You really NEED to do a video to show the cables that come with every PSU, and or, how or where to get decent replacements. I cannot be the only one and you more than most go on about cable management.

I’ve done two Ryzen chip builds. The first one was with the stock cooler and had no problem putting that on the chip. The second one is my wife’s build with an AIO, and yes I honestly found that little rectangular pin that you tighten to be quite a pain in the rear end
@@opachki8325 I've been telling people Asus copied off of them with the vrm cooling fan. Has better mounting than other AIOs etc my arctic liquid freezer 2 280 is still chilling everything perfectly. Most AIOs use the same shit same core company design it's why they all look identical. Arctic creates their own designs uses beefier radiators as well man it was a tight squeeze in my case chunky
I've done several ryzen builds this year and none i would consider "pain the the rear end" NZXT Z73 (avoid this now that ek has a comparable model but cheaper), LianLi Galahad 360 and one custom loop with ek magnitude block. Which AIO did you use?
i have lkoved the version 1, but after 3rma`s i gave up and got my noctuha nhd15 back. cooling was never a problem. the aio worked awesome. but the stupid small oled screen they had on the pump block, either burned in over time(even at circeling temp and voltage readouts) or was broken from the get go.
I've been wanting to get an AIO with a bigger radiator. I think this one will be under serious consideration if I decide to spend the extra money and want a fancy screen, which isn't necessary.
From a performance perspective you would be better off with an EK, Arctic, Bequiet or Lian Li model. This is a very old Asetek gen7 block which has been around for over years now and gets beaten by just about all the opposition. If the screen is a must have, then I can't argue against that - it is very fancy.

sonal owner here of one and i love mine. had the corsair top of the line one before the new lcd ones and the screen on it is awesome. i really like the hub too i am using alot of corsair hubs tho and my rgb fans. its nice that u dont have to plug into the aio fan on the mb and not get an error in the bios.

Jay, I wish you would mention if a RGB hub is powered and replicates the signal or if it just splits the signal without boosting/replicating it. Not the power, but the actual digital signal.
Sadly not the good NF-A12x25 fans, and for the price, they absolutely should be. The NF-F12s are not very good when it comes to noise vs performance, they actually get quite loud.
I have the Ryujin 1, god the fans are so annoying and loud, even tho they are the same noctuas as the 2. The VRM cooler is overrated, unless you dont have any other fan in your case. Also, Armoury Crate, althought not as buggy as other propietary softwares, is annoying to use and sync. In terms of cooling, my 5950x idles at 28/33° C (currently in summer) and peaks at 68°c, using the CTR profiles with a 4.9 all cores boost.
@@AutoRestore1 ha, my latest upgrade to armoury crate completed borked itself. it will not recognise my Tuf 6800xt or the corsair ram that it happily recognised before. I'm currently having to use iCue to sort out the RGB on my asus mobo, gpu and aforementioned ram.

I love how one of the big sellingpoints of AIOs is that the block’s small so it doesn’t take up so much space on the motherboard. Meanwhile ASUS decides to build a AIO that currently probably has the chunkiest block in the world

So far the junction box for the fans included with the AIO make it so much easier to connect RGB. 6 outputs for Fans and RGB to one cable so it was a breeze tightening up the wiring. Much nicer than using splitters. Now i’m finally doing the cleanup on wire then to run the strimmers and install the PSU and i’m ready to bootup.

Checkout Steve's review of the Arctic's Freezer ii series for usefulness of VRM cooling. It outperfomers this overpriced ASUS AiO for much less money.

I have the Ryujin 240 for over 2 years now and I love it! On a i9-9900k the Noctua fans are still while idling. I added some LED Halo Rings from Phantheks in between the fans and the the radiator so the lighting is also fixed. I'll definitely buy this new 360 for my next build.
Also, Armory Crate is FINALLY working properly but it took way too long.
Trends I would like to see in the PC market next year (inspired by Noctua's collaboration with ASUS):
1. GPUs that allow users to add any standard 120mm fan for cooling
2. AIOs sold without any included fans
Imagine the flexibility it would give PC builders to customize their machines (without generating tons of e-waste) Of course prices should be adjusted accordingly.

I just put in my build the new Aorus cooler, also comes with a screen on the pump which you can customise in the software (I have it display the CPU's temp), has RGB in the fans and I have been very impressed with it. It's 240mm and it's cooling an intel i7 12th gen and on idle I'm getting 28-29 degrees Celsius, when gaming or doing video editing it will go to about 55C.
The ROG AIO here in the UK costs about 100 pounds more than the Aorus one, and I didn't see anything in this video that justifies that price difference, so I think I would have made the same choice again.

The arctic liquid freezer 360 has a small fan above the pump for cooling ram components, too. And its around 180dollar less in price.
And that tiny fan is just as trash...each time I install the LF II i disconnect that fan right away. It does nothing except for being noisy and very noisy after about a year or so.
Yeah Arctic is best when it comes to cooling, 100% agree. Ryujin and Asus in general is overpriced

That's a giant pump block with that fan in it. I went with the phanteks Glacier One 360MP because if you take the cover of the pump it's the lowest profile Asetek pump block I could find. I used the NZXT Kraken G12 bracket to mount it to my Radeon 5700XT and it's still a two-slot card with the pump on it. Not the intended use case but it works well.
It's a nice AIO, but I can't see myself paying that much for an AIO cooler.

My RYUO 240 has screen burn in. Asus said I can send it in for warranty. They will not cross ship a new unit so I can still use my PC and not wait weeks for the replacement to arrive. This is why I'm getting a Kraken Z soon.

I would love to see a video of PC maintenance over a few years of owning one. Like whether you have to apply new thermal over a while etc... Love this cooler!
google has the craziest results on this. I personally reapply fresh thermal paste once a year, but I use my hardware a lot and it's just what I do. most cases, 2-3 years is fine. dust management on the other hand should be done quite regularly, once a week, once every other week.
Im just lazy but never had a problem with poor maintainance. My old PC survived 7 years on same thermal paste and very little cleaning, everyday use. From my experience PC hardware is generally more durable than one might think. Under 100C and no driver issues and it probably wont randomly die. Obviously if you care about your components it doesnt hurt to clean it once a year.
I've never reapplied paste on any of my PCs. The last one went 6+ years just fine. As long as your temps are good, don't worry.
I've never reapplied thermal paste just as a matter of maintenance. I'm running a 4700k on a PC that's been in use for like 18 hours a day for over 8 years, and there's never been a change in core temperatures that would indicate a need for reapplication. I would suggest recording your temps soon after building so you have a comparison point a year later and can decide for yourself. If the temps don't change, I don't see why there would be any reason to do this.
@@internisus my temps aren't an issue. like I said in my first reply, it's just what I do. you get a 5g tube of paste with a shelf life of about 3 years, worth the purchase with a yearly refresh tbh.
Ekwb Elite RGB still has the nicest CPU waterblock imho. Asus ROG is nice yet also expensive and not worth the extra money considering performance between Artic and EKWB

Would have loved to have gotten one of the these for my build. I have a Corsair 150i Pro. My temps still seem to be high, 35 to 40 degrees on semi-idle on my 5900X, I think I need to re-paste my CPU.

I bought the 3 pack of the Be Quiet! Light Wings and agree. They are quiet even at full speed and look good too.
It's pretty cool, something I've wanted since the Kraken Z is the ability to customize a little screen in my PC to look like an old-school JDM style boost gauge. It's such a shame you can only choose between an animated GIF or a couple of pre-baked system values.

I love this AIO cooler! It comes with very efficient fans and you barely notices it under load. The software side is not the best though, Armoury crate can lag sometimes and doesn't let you choose too large gifs or videos to put on the display. All-in-all it's a must have for the price/performance ratio!

Yes, the other componetns need moving air, too. Thats the reason i cool my pcs just with air instead of water. These AIO often have to be replaced after 2-3 years. After that the danger of leaks raise dangerous high. Or Pump failures etc. I had enough PCs in my workshop with leaking AIOs. I hate them...
BUT i have to say, this thing here is kinda cool with that display. I JUST WANT THAT DISPLAY!
I am also team aircooling. I was thinking about an aio when i built my o11 xl system. But i kept with bequiet dark rock 4. I even think air coolers are way more sexy ;)
@@audiophobia82 I have several PCs here. One is a Ryzen 3700x with an Alpenföhn Brocken 3 to cool it. The other is a Ryzen 3900x with a Scythe Mugen Rev. 2 TUF Version to cool it. Both work great.
Watercooling is at the end an aircooler too. But with a detour. I have tested several AIO, yes the temps are more stable for a few hours. BUT if the fluid is warm, maybe cause you render for 10 hours, you cant get it cool without shutdown the pc.
With Air Cooling you put the fans 2-5 minutes to max and the system is cool again.
I've been using AIOs for many years now. Never had any issues. No need to replace, I had my first for like 6 years and it was still working perfectly when I sold it. I guess it depends on the quality. I don't buy cheap.

That detour is important. You get a much bigger surface area and you can dump the heat outside of the case. Plus you get a lot inertia. Cars use liquid cooling too, gas and electric.
Why do yo care about cooling down? If you can run your PC for hours without overheating, what's the problem? Who cares if the fluid is warm.

Second, IF Fluid gets warm, there is no chance to get it cold again. Rendering for several hours could bring fluid temps to 60-65°C. Now you stop the work, fluid stays in this temps for long time even after finisching rendering. Now your CPU produce 35°C and is flooded with 60° fluid. Now it works in the other direction.
Do you know what diffusion is?
Fluid become less over time. So your watercooling unit, even if it is a closed system, loose fluid. It disappears thru the rubber, seals or whatever. And in most AIO you can't fill it up. In a Custom Loop you can, but there you have to switch out the fluid all few years, cause it gets bad over time. Jay made a video about that. I say that, cause i bet you will not believe me. So listen to another pro.
Resaon for that is material mix. Most units have copper pump housings and aluminium radiators. These don't fit together and produce rust in the system. That can clog up the pump and other stuff.
As i said, my 3900x renders, it has just a simple Scythe Mugen on it. This thing just reach 65°C with overclock to 4200 mhz on all 12 cores. After work, fans go down to normal, after 2 minutes CPU is at 35°C again. And if i render for hours, there is no change to it.
Watercooling is always louder than simple air cooling. I have 7 fans in my cases. The loudest one is the PSU. Its a Be Quiet Pure Power 11. Even my GPU has a semi passive mode and just turns the fans when starting the PC. After the boot it never makes any noise.
And pls explain to me, how i can install a AIO so the radiator is outside the case without dismantle it or cutting my case? And where do i have to mount the radiator when it is outside the case?
And how long the AIO lasts is not a simple messure. It counts how many hours it runs per day and what speed the pump goes. I have seen several units where the pump just stopped, cause it clogged up or just broke. The rubber hoses are often simple cheap ones, no reinforcements or so. They become hard and porous. The same with sealings. So why should i risk a leak that could destroy my expensive hardware? All in all my PCs are worth 2000-2500 Bucks (before Chip Crisis) and today 3500 bucks.
All works, all is cool, all is silent. No ticking time bomb in my case. And cause i use liquid metal thermal paste, i have to check it once in 10 years.
Sorry, all in all Watercooling just has disadvantages, and we haven't talked about the price. Maybe you need watercooling for power guzzling Intel CPUs, but who the hell still buys those wasters?
I really like the idea of having a fan on the CPU coldplate/pump to help cool down the VRMs and chokes. I've only seen a couple of AIOs with this feature though - really needs to become more standard as VRMS on a high-end system can easily hit over 100 degrees C (In Win have an articulating fan which you can mount on the top of the case and position above the VRMs, but its expensive and despite being an elegant and well designed product still looks a bit odd/borderline jank and has no RGB lol)
Proper case fans are probably enough.

Only 4 years? The Corsair H50 (I believe!) 120mm AIO that has been on my 4770K rig has only been reposted once in the 7/8 years since I built it!!!! Temps are still the same even under consistent heavy loads re-encoding video fromh 2160p H264 to HEVC/x265 that they were when it was first installed. I thought I would have had to replace it by now due to evaporation of the liquid over that time span. When I replace the H110i in my 8700 rig, I will then put that on the 4770K & retire the H50/H50i/whatever it is (or buy a decent air cooler for it as it is just used for encoding video & as my Plex server.
what do you mean you "don't know why they didn't use the black ones on the 3070?" The fans on the 3070 are the a12x25, Noctua's most advanced fans. People were pissed for a long time that they weren't offered in black but apparently the pigment used in the plastic can cause problems over time at high RPM so it requires a lot of R&D to get right. They do sell black a12x25 now, but to be clear the fans on this AIO are not a12x25, they're an older model.

You gonna bitch about that too? Or just salty that we can afford things like this?

Hey Jay, I just fitted my new Deepcool 750w modular PSU. I wanted modular because I wanted LESS rats nest. But it is just as bad, with extra bits hanging off. You really NEED to do a video to show the cables that come with every PSU, and or, how or where to get decent replacements. I cannot be the only one and you more than most go on about cable management.

I’ve done two Ryzen chip builds. The first one was with the stock cooler and had no problem putting that on the chip. The second one is my wife’s build with an AIO, and yes I honestly found that little rectangular pin that you tighten to be quite a pain in the rear end

Liquid freezer 2 is the best for ryzen and it uses a different system.

Most AIOs use the same shit same core company design it's why they all look identical. Arctic creates their own designs uses beefier radiators as well man it was a tight squeeze in my case chunky

I've done several ryzen builds this year and none i would consider "pain the the rear end"
NZXT Z73 (avoid this now that ek has a comparable model but cheaper), LianLi Galahad 360 and one custom loop with ek magnitude block. Which AIO did you use?
i have lkoved the version 1, but after 3rma`s i gave up and got my noctuha nhd15 back. cooling was never a problem. the aio worked awesome. but the stupid small oled screen they had on the pump block, either burned in over time(even at circeling temp and voltage readouts) or was broken from the get go.
I’ve been seeing owners with OLED burn in problems as well opting for the LED version instead.

I've been wanting to get an AIO with a bigger radiator. I think this one will be under serious consideration if I decide to spend the extra money and want a fancy screen, which isn't necessary.
From a performance perspective you would be better off with an EK, Arctic, Bequiet or Lian Li model. This is a very old Asetek gen7 block which has been around for over years now and gets beaten by just about all the opposition. If the screen is a must have, then I can't argue against that - it is very fancy.

sonal owner here of one and i love mine. had the corsair top of the line one before the new lcd ones and the screen on it is awesome. i really like the hub too i am using alot of corsair hubs tho and my rgb fans. its nice that u dont have to plug into the aio fan on the mb and not get an error in the bios.

Sadly not the good NF-A12x25 fans, and for the price, they absolutely should be. The NF-F12s are not very good when it comes to noise vs performance, they actually get quite loud.
I have the Ryujin 1, god the fans are so annoying and loud, even tho they are the same noctuas as the 2. The VRM cooler is overrated, unless you dont have any other fan in your case. Also, Armoury Crate, althought not as buggy as other propietary softwares, is annoying to use and sync. In terms of cooling, my 5950x idles at 28/33° C (currently in summer) and peaks at 68°c, using the CTR profiles with a 4.9 all cores boost.
They are the industiral PPC fans, not the quiet optimised ones. PPC's are all about cooling performance, but they are a bit louder as a result.
@@AutoRestore1 ha, my latest upgrade to armoury crate completed borked itself. it will not recognise my Tuf 6800xt or the corsair ram that it happily recognised before. I'm currently having to use iCue to sort out the RGB on my asus mobo, gpu and aforementioned ram.

Thanks. Had this cooler and love it. Thinking about getting rgb fans and doing push pull to get the great fans still and the rgb. Also didn't know what that software was for. Installed it I think and never touched it and then was annoyed the temps were mostly 0 so ill look at that now. Thanks and hope you had a great christmas
Between the awesome screen and the micro fan on the head, i just knew i had to get it. Built my pc 2 weeks ago and its been running great

I cringed every time he mispronounced Ryujin 🤣
Finally building my 12900K after having it sit for the last 2 months and I’m thankful to finally have this AIO after waiting so long. Many people are flaming it because it’s cost, but it’s a beautiful cooler for sure. Can’t wait to power it up! Merry Christmas All!

@@rahliE777 Thanks! The best part in waiting is I managed to get Vengeance DDR5. That’s why I have waited so long to assemble. Got lucky on NewEgg Shuffle and won a combo. Would rather of had the Dominator or G.Skill but i’m not complaining! Very, very fortunate.

@@aluckyshot awesome, good luck to you too. So far the junction box for the fans included with the AIO make it so much easier to connect RGB. 6 outputs for Fans and RGB to one cable so it was a breeze tightening up the wiring. Much nicer than using splitters. Now i’m finally doing the cleanup on wire then to run the strimmers and install the PSU and i’m ready to bootup.
