i am a fictiophile, i am alive because of a fictional character, not only alive but I'm LIVING that more than most people i would love to see a talk on fictiophilia
Same thing here. I wish there were more people who understood how this feels and this topic be more widely dicussed. I've had fictional characters be there for me when no one else was/could/would be. Some scenarios I'd develop and bring to life inside my head for like days at a time when I was in high-school, and it was like a drug that kept me alive. Recenty I've rediscovered my love for one character, through a dream that fealt exactly like something from those 6-7-8 years ago. It was very vivid and real, she was there, on that same porch where I used to hang out with her every day and night in my dreams/daydreams, and it was just... uggh. I woke up with butterflies in my stomach, entire perspective changed, I was excited to be alive. Now I'm high on life again. It's been days and it ain't stopping. I'm 25 and I have a "waifu".
@@ragingsaviorkami9862 good for you! i honestly think its amazing what the human mind can do, it can certainly be surprising. it can lothe itself, and on top of any mental instability or trauma, any reason to hate, or desire to cease, it can still find a reason to pull through
I’m here after Sasha Braus death. I lost a part of my soul with her death. She was everything combined. Fictional characters can change and impact your life just like real people and their deaths can hurt just as much as real death😭
I'm seriously here because pretending I'm married to Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan helped me get over the pain of grieving the end of a relationship.
those were really some inspiring words u got there and it's an intresting topic i wish i watched it live ,i really like these subjects obviously since we have fictional interests in commun i liked ur deduction from what u obsereved in Dragonball and Lei and the thing that u liked abt ur fav character Jozki and the last thing u did is the "be urself" gesture , u prove it , way to go bro ! that's coool !!!
It’s awesome that someone decided to make a ted talk about this topic, if only it went a bit deeper.
Check out Personal Mythology. It's all about this kind of thing.
