I find it interesting that he said overwatch makes it one of their goals for people to find themselves in the characters they make because I actually play bastion the most because I love how his character has a fascination with nature just like me and I also liked him because he was a cool robot that could turn into a tank since I like both tanks and robots. Even though they changed his abilities hes still my favorite hero in overwatch and I still play him the most.

@@bat3196Doomfist is obviously a villain but the reason some people may see themselves in these characters is not so much that they’re villains, but what they stand for outside of their villain theme. For Doomfist is easily his belief that hardship builds character and courage as well as makes us stronger, which I agree to an extent in the fact that people who were born in tough spots like in underdeveloped countries and had to work for everything they had, and then decide to move to a better place and all of a sudden their children are born with a silver spoon and some end up not valuing the meaning of hard work, that’s really Doomfist’s belief, it’s just that his way of executing his plan is evil, and that’s what makes him a villain.
The prop hunt was so fun. It has so much potential

He's everything I wanted from Bastion's kit and more
For now. till they nerf the shit out of him just like they do with every overtuned hero after launch.
He is fun though
Also side note there’s a bug that will be patched that allows lifeweaver to grip through maugas ultimate wall

After playing the new tank in the prerelease he seemed to be a solid addition to the game he definitely has enough weaknesses to not be overly OP but also good utility and power to be a good character to pick up and fits right into the meta

The beginning of the trailer that shows the previous trailers... I see, the good ol' trick - playing on nostalgia.
he's scary on paper, i mean, hes decent at ranged and an absolute unit up close, but he has some MASSIVE flaws, his hitbox(he's a giant torbjorn shape), all off supports basically shut him down,(kiriko's cleanse is honestly way more annoying then you would think, no fire crits means no shields which means he becomes frail and it takes FOREVER for the burn to come back up. tank shredders still laugh at him, snipers/ranged heros win 1v1's. he sounds like he has an ungodly amount of sustain, but ive felt if anything, he's struck that perfect balance, i dont feel frail, but i also don't feel like a unkillable machine.
but he also has some great mechanics, like, being unstoppable when running means you can actually predict certain stuns and block them, like if hog is gunna hook, you can sprint and cancel and it doesn't hook you in. also there are instances where you would much rather just fire off primary at range, or his ult shutting down big ultimates. so much playmaking potential, like imagine a nano blade, then suddenly mauga just forces him into a cage for its entire duration while your supports pump healing into mauga as he tears genji a new one. thats massive value in potentially turning a guarenteed lost fight.
or if your just sadistic and don't like ball players, just trap him off cooldown so he cant play the game without immidiately dying. though this applies to all dive heros. winston dives in thinking he can ult to stay alive and escape after killing? nah WWE time. doomfist harrassing your team? time out in the corner. pesky mercy going for a rez? trap them both in to really sell the idea that cheeky rez's shall be punished via combat. beneficial? prob easier to just kill mercy. but dominance is more important then a lame "correct play" (had this happen and it was hilarious)
honestly, a really fun character.

i got to overwatch today and i didnt knew about this hero, when a saw him for a second it felt like i was dreaming, like, the hell is this hero?
I will say this over and over. Bro is my new main. He is fun but not overpowered. Honestly he gets rocked by any tank that’s got poke ability
That’s what I’ve been saying, he gets hard countered by a lot of heroes specifically ana, junker queen, baptiste, and reaper is what I’ve been having the most issues with. Only issue why he does sooo well is because of support units being so overpowered

Currently way to strong as a Tank... i got rounds where he got dmg as high as both dps together..... He does in close range as much dmg like a bastion in turret form.... But he's realy fun to play
About time there was a ‘strong’ tank
His stats will be adjusted accordingly after a few weeks just like any other new hero

I doubt dva's one tricks would be sad, matrix is so strong vs him, and in combo with ana's naid he's getting melted very fast (tested myself already

He's damn near unkillable. I use him and at first he seem meh but after us8ng him a bit... he seems hard to kill.
@@jdennis867He’s definitely not hard to kill when you run into certain comps. Ana hard counters Mauga especially if they have a mei or bastion. He has a huge ass hit box, and is twice as wide as ram and hog. Overall I think he seems pretty balanced.

He needs a strong heal to make him live

You can play the hero right now. And I have the feeling that the developer know he is broken, thats why they really REALLY needed to test him now. Dont get me wrong, i love him and i know that he will be a great and fun tank. But right now... His damage is disgusting, his ammo is nearly infinit. The moment he is a little bit to close to you, youre done. Did you saw how fast he shreded the bob in the video? Unbelievable. His charge is cool tho, very useful, maybe the knock down is a bit much. But every Stun is a story for itself in overwatch. BUT his second ability.... If he fight against a roadhog, the roadhog is straight up dead. And besides that he is full health like instant, and every other hero around him gets also heal by doing damage, very hard to kill that monster. The better reinhardt charge is only 5 seconds, and the healing ability is by 10-15 i think. Disgustin. And his ult is just op aswell, by simply pinning the enemys to the location like a mei ult, with the disgustin damage + infinity ammo? Bruv u dead. There is nothing we can do. Still kinda hard to use, since you cant leave the cage. So if you make a bad ult, u still could die. Could... And beside that, every time he hits a critical, "which he only hits while the enemy burns" he gets max 150 shield. But all in all. Still love him, he just needs more balance, much more balance 9:39

The character is definitely not broken. With Ana and bastion being so strong right now I don’t see him even being able to be OP. Mei and Ana completely shi on him with wall and anti. With all this said he’s still strong depending on the enemy team comp. In my opinion he’s a strong B tier

I feel like people enjoy fighting him more than orisa which in some sense is good for the game since people are tired of getting stomped by her but also if they nerf him too hard orisa will immediately come back so it feels like picking between the lesser of two evils
