as a rein main im not excited, constantly have supports tell me im out of position when I'm well aware of where I am and that I'm in a winnable fight, and i just know illl be pulled out of my melee range and lose kills

@@nontori..4161 You have it backwards with "healer." Main SUPPORT is Lucio, Zen, Mercy, and this guy. FLEX Supports are what people call "main healers" because they are the main source of healing, but are "flex" supports because they are usually able to be interchanged without too much problems in team comps because they aren't the "main" support, aka the heart/core of a teams strategy and playstyle.
Edit: I forgot the "off" bit. "Off" healer is the one who is healing but not really like Zen's Harmony and Lucio's Aura and to a lesser extent Mercy's yellow beam. Not their priority, but they still have a healing ability
Being able to bring a whole team up to a high ground even if they are playing slow characters, moving ults such as orisa and Cassidy, even making it so junkerqueen can ult and pulling her back so it doesn’t have to be a hard commit, there are so many crazy things I can see happening with this

Im not thai or ever even been to Thailand but seeing the artists being so excited for the representation made me smile.
I'm glad we're getting more lore stuff on vishkar, that's always been something that we haven't really gotten a lot of besides a few symmetra and lucio interactions and even then sym's story shifted with zenyatta's involvement and lucio's going into overwatch so it's good that we're giving these characters a new outlet for their story while adding a new one into the mix

I like that the new character is part of vishkar as well, especially given his whole "scifi druid" theming which is amazing! Though I do wish we had a character who was an actual by-the-numbers vishkar architech, I doubt that would be a fun character to design or play as lol.

@@strawberryshortcake4810 mercy doesn’t do a ton of healing unless you mostly healbot . as a mercy main, i used to always have the most healing in all games i’m in, but now i have one of the least bc i’m focusing more on damage boost

Mercy heal & damage boost ratio mostly depend on rank actually, low rank just need a healbot mercy most of the time, mid rank 50/50, high rank mercy need to more focus on boosting

LIfeweavers pull on teammates should work as a sort of tether that he puts on a teammate, almost like a zen orb, that that teammate can then activate when they wish to be pulled back, this would prevent trolling and make teamwork just easier in general.

Like, you could legit grief so fucking hard it's not even funny. I don't think they've thought this one through, definitely gonna be the first thing that gets reworked in some way. I mean, Mei griefing with walling off her team mates is one thing. Imagine just yoinking players around the map. That Rein who is fighting in the front line gets yoinked back so he can't confirm a kill or follow up on shatter, that Cass gets pulled out of LOS so he can't high noon jackshit.. Or even just at random, a Tracer blinking by and getting snatched by the yoink.. So much shit can go wrong with an ability like this.
@@Real_MisterSir I think you're giving trollers too much credit. I honestly RARELY run into anyone that is trolling. Most player enjoy winning. Even if there is a trollish Mei wall at the beginning, they usually just play normally after. I don't see it being a big issue. I play to win and so do most of the community. (Based on my over 1000 hours of experience).

Dude I’m Thai here. It’s funny how this Hero’s nickname is Bua cuz the word Bua (บัว) somehow used by lots of Thai lgbtq ppl as a slang for BLOWJOB. Every time me and my friends see a hot guy walks pass by we will look at each other and say “Damn I wanna Bua him so hard” lol

There is some sick potential for this guy in a Ramattra poke comp. Everyone bunkers up and pokes from range using the platform to easily reposition on high grounds, then if the Ram ever goes in with nemesis he can just be pulled back to reset the bunker no problem.

I doubt he breaks the game lmaooo, his healing is underwhelming, life grip and petal platform can be really cool when not trolling but it's not like they're hard to play around/against, his rejuvinating dash is underwhelming, his damage is fine but it looks clunky to switch back and forth, and his ultimate is good but can be bursted down fast af.
He's not op and there aren't that many trolls.
He honestly needs a buff his healing sucks and the only thing op about him is his safegaurd but that also sucks cus it can interrupt game momentum and flow

Comp in my mind:
Lifeweaver
Soldier (easy access to high ground and works well with Tree)
Rein (tank that makes good space and allows for Weaver to get some healing behind the shield while DPS keeps firing, also pairs well with Tree and can be saved with Grip)
Bap (Window works great with Platform, does awesome aoe burst healing so Weaver doesn't have to stress as bad, Immortality field is great for keeping teammates safe after platform falls in a fight)
Bastion (similar to Soldier, but his high ground game is even scarier and pulling Bastion out after Assault mode ends can be very strong since that's Bastion's disadvantage state)

Because Thai people love the fuck out of VALORANT. As a Thai person trying to play other games that isn’t VALORANT it feels painful cuz the queue time is so long. Everyone else who doesn’t play VALORANT basically suffers the same fate as I do having no friends. So Overwatch actually did something smart here and made their Thai character look like a VALORANT agent before VALORANT makes one and before overwatch dies in Thailand.

@@faulte2120 I said its the easiest role to play. DPS and tank have the mechanics that transfer better to support than the other way around. Just look at the leader boards. Most dps and tank can play support at their current level. Not true with supports.

Anger, I wanted and predicted a character from Thailand but thought it would be around the countries history of MMA, so he would be more of a mellow focused dps, a concept that I think could be cool to explore. But I’m interested so see how this character preforms but again, no drop off range is kinda wack.

With uh... Rizzweaver... hmn... there's some people saying that his cooldowns are a bit... long? He has a lot of utility with the grapple, platform, ult, and the low heal projectile, and the Self-save short dash? But again, these other abilities, the grapple and the platform have long cooldowns. Don't know what that means competitively, but I find that it'll be a lot of resource management since his utilities are gping to be his huge appeal. (And his well... design appeal.)
Crazy how they billed Kiriko as a "DPS Support" and she mainly healbots, meanwhile they're saying Lifeweaver will be a "Main healer" who only uses his dmg in emergencies and it's already clear he's going to be an offensively mobile/playmaking off-healer.

but so much can go right. if your tank makes a stupid mistake like pinning in and commiting too hard, you just pull him back. dva ulted but is about to die? pull her back to the backline. enemy doom punches one of your dps away? pull them back. his movement ability is also going to make it so good, because if rein shatters but the enemies are too far away, lifeweaver can just dash forward and pull the rein into them. but I guess we'll see how it goes

A Mei wall is an incredibly useful tool in most cases, but when you want to hit a fat shatter and your Mei accidentally blocks your ult, that shit is aggrivating. And that's only preventing you from doing something good once every 2 or 3 team fights and is very contextual and doesn't actively harm you, it just hinders your potential. This new ability will be used multiple times each fight. You have to look at the downsides independently and assess the ability as such. It being very good most situations, doesn't excuse it for being absolutely attrocious in a couple other instances.
I'm not saying the ability should not exist, but there should be a workaround, or a sort of confirmation act from the player getting pulled (like how you use a sym tp for example). The act of accepting the pull itself should come from the player getting pulled, not the player who pulls.
