good points about the pulse bomb on blocking tanks. It should do regular damage if stuck from the back. it just makes sense. But we also play a game with no fall damage so … common sense mechanics aren’t always going to be priority. Disagree somewhat about quickplay. Quickplay is a lot of peoples’ main way of playing the game. i don’t fault people for taking the mode seriously. They want to have a good experience too and don’t want to deal with the ranking system. There are those of us that would rather play some good games on quickplay after a full day of work than play comp. Not all of us play QP just to mess around and I think that was the point the director was trying to make here. gotta disagree with you disagreeing about QP, well kina. im not arguing you can just throw games or troll or leave and be unpunished for it, im not advocating for total anarchy or some sht, however seeing two things as someone who plays dps solely on QP (as ppl dont like junkrat in comp coz theyre mean) really piss me off. 1) someone whose obviously cracked at and good a certain hero they main and play them exclusively in QP and smash the competition, its usually a widow, hanzo or pharah. however this is more of a matchmaking issue that playing your main hero issue, im not here to call for a gatekeep on who you can play by any means. but ive come across many players who are ranked highly either by viewing their profile, title card or the way they play, who are matched with people who genuinely play like bots, this shouldnt be happening at all, especially not in QP. 2) people becoming toxic when someone has a bad day in quickplay and get their knickers in a twist about it, you gain nothing from winning or losing QP games outside of comical level ups that mean little to nothing, thus theres no reason for ppl hurling insults at any player in all chat telling them to off themselves, delete the game, or the most cringe of all "dps/tank diff". go ranked and sweat and be toxic to your hearts content, but lets leave quickplay, which imo should be renamed to 'casual mode', for casual players wanting some fun or people trying new heroes or just wanting to play without the stress of having to perform at their absolute best. this however needs to be done WITH better match making, as i grow tired of having to play against or with cracked hanzo or soldier players especially with a mercy up their ass solo carrying games in QP, a one off is fine, but its a recurring issue that honestly makes me want to go ranked because of it. now im the AI bot :D

I turned off voice and text chat because I don’t have time to deal with it. On the occasion I go back to comp (maybe in season 9 when it’s revamped) I might turn it back on but even then there’s the ping system that seems fairly helpful. But yeah, I’m not saying that there isn’t anything wrong with QP but there does seem to be this implication that the good, skilled players play comp and the non-serious bad players play QP which is just so far from the truth. I wish that sort of elitist idea wasn’t so prevalent. But yeah don’t get me wrong. I don’t know if splitting QP into 2 for the sake of the more “serious” QP players is a solution. It probably isn’t. But I do like that the devs are actively talking about it. It tells me they aren’t just hanging QP out to dry and only focusing on comp - which is reassuring. I love the spawning change in particular they made to QP recently. It’s such a quality of life improvement.

Give us 1 more repair pack or bigger healing with inspire or that packs gives a small amount of shield as standard with the healing, so that dmg dealers doesnt need 3 packs during a 5 sec fight.

i think mauga's cinematic could be taken one of two ways, both are pretty badass. 1) is the obvious he planned to obtain the device for talon or 2) he actually way smarter then that, and intentionally pulled the strings to get on sombras favor. think about it, he lives for his own enjoyment, if he wanted to give it to doomfist he would do it himself. if he wanted the thrill of fighting, he would just blow up the entire ship, but instead it goes to sombra, the person talon KNOWS isn't fully dedicated to their cause, and has her own agenda. and gave her something without talon knowing until SHE tells them. mauga wants something from her, and its not hard to see WHAT he would want off her.
Doom needed the buff to his ult. His stun nerf last time turned his punch into a 5 year old slapping you in the leg, and he has so many counters to look after.

They made an easy hero even easier now that you don’t need to use your brain when considering if you should vape, but I guess every role needs a Moira/Mercy type for low skilled players.

as QP enjoyer, they should remove penalty system as soon as possible man, the playerbase on my region is already small and they punish people for maybe having bad internet or something on QUICK PLAY, this place supposed to be the place that people just want to tried something new strategy/hero or just hanging out on game with online friends who not play overwatch oftenly. i can guarantee that people who got timeout/cooldown because of this penalty system probably not gonna wait until timer end, they just probably close the game and move on into another game (also sorry for bad English, English isn't my first language)

Overwatch is a competitive shooter, qp or not game still competitive, you wouldn't train new hero while having little time to play in comp to drop your rank to the grave. So you trying to be serious in qp. Not everyone has half a day to play it. The only way of playing ow as "casual" would be pve campaigns. I actually think it would be a great idea, somebody definitely needs to tell blizzard about this, imagine if they'd actually try to do something like this , right?
Tbh i dont like the leave penalty bc therell be times where ill have to leave 3 games ina row due to family asking for things or needing to walk the dog. Id prefer to leave and have someone quick join than to be afk for multiple minutes wasting even more potential for the team

Reaper uses toy shotguns in game. In cinematics and animated shorts he uses real shotguns. That's why he can use them kind of long range no problem.

We can still get heals by getting to health packs, if we can't ult to get away as often, then its a nerf that is unless they buff it to actually make ulting on enemies more valuable
Which the buff didn't, its still a get out of jail free card with some heals which we could get by ulting on a mega or near a support (and it will also give our support some ult charge for their useful ults)

as QP enjoyer, they should remove penalty system as soon as possible man, the playerbase on my region is already small and they punish people for maybe having bad internet or something on QUICK PLAY, this place supposed to be the place that people just want to tried something new strategy/hero or just hanging out on game with online friends who not play overwatch oftenly.
i can guarantee that people who got timeout/cooldown because of this penalty system probably not gonna wait until timer end, they just probably close the game and move on into another game (also sorry for bad English, English isn't my first language)

Cant agree more on with your opinion with QP, theres been too many people in my games recently flaming because someone isnt preforming well. I just wanna hop on and try to play some genji but actually just get dunked on
same (but not genji ew) i just wana divebomb and get some dumb POTGs as junkrat and tilt the other dps by teabagging them for no reason, not get flamed for being 10/14 for trying to nuke pharah out the sky tf. i aint ever swapping to a hitscanner in QP so i dont see why ppl feel the need to get upset about a dps/supp/tank diff or entire team diff, its QP, go ranked if u care so much about playing with good players.

I left 2 matches of qp bec of ppl needing me to do something and then joining my friends group. I then played qp again and tried to leave bec I was just sleepy and boom id get a penalty for 20mins…
This animation style is weak. Feels like an animated flip book compared to the other shorts they used to do. Where it felt more like the game itself.
No words for doubling ability lockout but it’s a problem that Doomfist players don’t need to waste their ULTIMATE on getting a healthpack because it’s the worst ult in the game and that’s the only way to get value with it…. biased DPS players are so cute😂

Overwatch is a competitive shooter, qp or not game still competitive, you wouldn't train new hero while having little time to play in comp to drop your rank to the grave. So you trying to be serious in qp. Not everyone has half a day to play it.
The only way of playing ow as "casual" would be pve campaigns. I actually think it would be a great idea, somebody definitely needs to tell blizzard about this, imagine if they'd actually try to do something like this , right?

The doom buff isn’t even that good.. he only heals when he ults not just all the time.
Tbh i dont like the leave penalty bc therell be times where ill have to leave 3 games ina row due to family asking for things or needing to walk the dog. Id prefer to leave and have someone quick join than to be afk for multiple minutes wasting even more potential for the team
