Alaskan Monster Bears Go At It

- This is the longest, most intense bear Interaction I have ever witnessed in my 25 years of guiding on the Alaska peninsula. Filmed on border of Lake Clark National Park. Two giant males compete for breeding season dominance in a sedge meadow.
#grizzlybear #bears #bear #animalsvideo #alaska #bearviewing #grizzlybears
The very fact that neither is already dead from this savagery is a testament of how tough grizzlies are!
Because most other injuries never go beyond their fat layer except for facial wounds.
Even bullets have difficulty going through fat layer if bear is big enough.
And people think tigers can kill these in a head on fight
@@BenDover-lg4wvright lmao
It not grizzly it brown bear
@@justmeandjustme5772 What do you 🤔 a grizzly is? A black bear? 😂
The winner lost the first round, but won rounds 2 and 3! Great fight!
They're fighting over who gets to eat the narrator.
Yes!
Went to Alaska in '71, lived in the bush for 14 years. Saw the griz fights and was attacked/hunted once. Never heard of, or saw a longer, more intense fight. Next year that youngster might be a bit bigger and a whole lot smarter...........ready to take the old guy on again. Be there next year for the rest of the story. Incredible, awesome, never saw anything like this. Great video.
Look at the muscle on these guys, such immense power.
they are bears, not guys.
@@greghale717 Apparently only humans have muscles.
@@liamjm9278Wrong they have
@@HxlllxwPxxintS2 Don't recognise sarcasm when you see it, huh?
@@HxlllxwPxxintS2 no, animals have meat not muscle…
It's comical that people think using certain techniques will save your life in case of a bear attack. Your survival depends on the Bear and its mood and NOTHING else.
a high powered rifle is a decent technique
i've heard that a 338 lapua is a great technique
I heard that a boozooka is a perfect weapon for these kind of situations
@@hopelessamaturerougeofhope4399 bazooka>>>>>>>>any living being
What about the guy that killed one with a fucking knife 😅
I got exhausted just watching them I had to keep stopping the video to take a break.
Same here LMAO hearing them sucking wind like that panting their asses off reminded me of being exhausted in the final minute or two of wrestling matches in high school
It's funny that there's people who think a gorilla would beat a grizzly in a fight
Seems they have been watching to much King Kong
I'm one of the fools who thought that til my patna sent me this exact same clip 😮 I digress lol
I thought that, then I came to my senses lol
Jea i guess a silverback is still a tough opponent but it seems like the bear got the same Power just with claws and big bite technics and a thicker skin
Thats probabblly because gorrilas are smarter
props to the two national park actors in the bear suits for entertaining the photographers.
This is going to be one of those videos after 10 years that has 100 million views
I hope so! Thank u!
Most incredible fight ever filmed and these heroes wouldn't stop talking over it. Sheesh.
That's ok they don't talk too much, unlike ''scarry bear attacks'' who never shuts up.
Hey guess what, theres a mute button!

Mas é muito triste ver dois animais se atacando dessa maneira se nós pudéssemos acabar com essa violência seria ótimo

you're living the dream dude, being out there summer after summer with those bears.. they're a force to be reckoned with!
But that's what Timothy Treadwell thought 🤔 too and NOW he and his unfortunate girlfriend is in one of their digestive tract!
@@allenjackson8549 he also crossed a dangerous boundary by petting and playing with the bears. He didn’t respect their space. Bears use body language and posturing to communicate a message, which makes them much more predictable than people realize. There’s a big difference between treadwell, and professional guides and bear experts who make the bear’s well being and client safety priority number 1.
someone should have edited the audio so you just hear the bears.
The fact that they both walked away from that is such a testament to their durability. Imagine being on the receiving end of either of those bears for even a moment. Youd be eviscerated. And for them its just another war wound. Absolutely insane video.
Brad , you were in the right place at the right time to be able to film one of the most violent battles in the animal world. You said it correctly that this fight was by far the longest Bear fight on You Tube or recorded on video anywhere.
Thank you!!

This is not the best bear fight ever. This Brad guy keeps taking down the video I sent others showing one way better and showing what they said about the bear on bottom loses.

If you ever face an attack from a grizzly bear, your chances of survival increase considerably if you are another grizzly bear. 😂
This guy must talk through every movie he sees.
You must sit and troll every video you watch on youtube
And then there's people who think they could win them on a fight
Bears are some of the most majestic and intimidating animals. This video is so incredible.
The older bear won, gotta put them youngsters in their place sometimes
The "cowboy walk" they do before fight😂 awesome!!
The stamina of bears is way beyond what I could imagine
Slow twitch muscles give them incredible endurance. These coastal bears are absolute units.
u can see the straight muscle protruding through the fur
People are amazed at bears strength but im more amaze at their thick skin. All that fighting and barely any damage.
The sound their muzzle makes when they're tearing into each other is absolutely terrifying
This has to be the most awesome display of ferocity and power I've ever seen in any footage from any nature documentary. I would imagine the adrenaline was flowing through you guys almost as much as it was through those two behemoths. What a rush it must have been!
Yes it was very exciting and stressful
joe rogan: "have you guys seen the new video of the two bears fighting? that shit is brutal..."
Did he say that somewhere ?
@@bradjosephs that's a prediction of what he'll probably say when he sees this. And he will definitely see this
And many people on Reddit believe a gorilla would best one of these absolute units
This is an amazing piece of footage. Thank you so very much for posting this encounter with natural sound. Wonderful.
I am a bear engineer and I can tell you these two bears had a fight
Joe Rogan brought me to this gem
did he tell you to take DMT?
Found this via the front page of Reddit, absolutely incredible video! Props to you and your team for staying so calm while filming!
This is way more interesting than MMA
Absolutely breathtaking footage. I can't imagine having been there to witness this in real life and at such a close distance. The natural display of ferociousness and technical grappling by these two behemoths is truly a rare prize to have captured. Congratulations to everyone involved! However wilderness camerawork is acknowledged, I hope you and your team receive nothing but professional and academic praise. Thank you for uploading this for the rest of the world to see.
Wow thank you! Very nice!
Breathtaking? I guess you never saw mutual of Omaha wild Kingdom growing up, this video resolution is outstanding comparatively. Breathtaking no
Cant wait for Joes commentary on this one 😂
Already did 😂
The younger bear has alot of heart he will be the dominant one in a year or so
I'm glad whenever i click on something and it's not click bait. Thanks.
Thank u for watching! I have more coming in my channel!
Dude thank you so much for recording this and uploading it to youtube...truly one of the greatest bear fights ever recorded. These guys went to war.
Joe Rogans gonna be all over this video like white on rice
Todays podcast he saw it, didn’t seem to give a shit
That's too much strength. Even the strongest human couldn't protect themselves from this animal
100 strongest humans will have a hard time if they are fighting without any weapons
I find it annoying that people come to these types of videos and complain about the person recording the video talking? Like really, if the person wasn’t there you would never get to see such an awesome video. They don’t owe you anything, it’s their video, their channel, if you’re that offended don’t watch or go and record your own video. Such entitlement.
Thanks for recording and uploading man. Great video!
This is the most intense bear fight I’ve ever seen in my life. These two absolutely destroyed each other!
Would have been better without the chatter.
Even when they fight, they still look like giant teddy bears. 🐻🧸
Note that they dont actually injure each other. They they have extreme attack strength, but their armor is even stronger. Their fur can shield a shotgun and they can move inside their skin, so the skin doesnt tear open.
For real? What else can I know about bear armor? Doing some research.
And ppl really think a Silverback Gorilla would beat this in a fight 😂
NO WAY
Has anyone ever seen that though what if the gorilla grabbed it at the arms and just ripped idk and yes yes i am
@@user-lg3rx2ko5g lol bears are stronger and have much MUCH tougher and thicker hides.
@@soramirez5473 but like theoretically could a gorilla literally rip a bear in half? Like does he have the strength? Idk I need to see it
@@user-lg3rx2ko5g no the gorilla doesnt have the strength to rip a bear apart. bears bite and chew and pull and yank on EACH OTHER with minimal damage, a gorilla cannot match that damage output
Whoa😳 The fact that you guys got this on film is incredible. Those are some massive brown bears!
Now imagine how helpless humans have felt while beeing attacked by such powerfull creature.. such an impressive animal
You talk to a bear like it's a human. You're probably a traitor and psychopath. Noted.

Jake, did we just ruin the whole video by talking through the whole thing? Yes, we did.
Jake? Listen yoda, the pro filmmakers never record actual audio. They don’t even carry audio equipment. If he was I wouldn’t have said a word. The pro edit teams always make audio in post. Wow, idiots
This will be THE video in which all other bear fights are compared to. Absolutely amazing footage.
Wow. They walk up to each other in this nonchalant way looking all tired and stiff. Especially the older bear. It was walking very stiff with the straight back legs and that wide gait. This was both brutal and extraordinary. The biting in the back was something I’d never seen before or just didn’t notice with other bears fights. And think about how more difficult this was considering they just recently came out of hibernation. So their muscles and energy were not exactly at their peak levels. The older bear with the blood dripping from its mouth just shows how brutal it was. And another fascinating aspect is they didn’t really use their claws as the weapon of choice. Rather they used their mouths and leg strength the most. I wonder if their teeth even penetrated their thick hide. Unbelievable and damn near heart stopping encounter.
Due to complex process of spontaneous muscle contractions, the bears lose no muscle mass during the 6 months hibernation. It’s amazing
Ever notice cubs playing ? They do exactly what the big bears do when fighting. They bite on their back, pull up on that skin and twist!! Cubs playing r actually training to fight later! This fight was awesome and scary. So much power between the two..my gosh! A mere human thinking they could go up against one of these creatures has to have some kind of God complex, or just be totally out of their minds!! Probably won't live to regret it! 😂 I don't want to see another fight like this! My heart can't take it!!! 😂 😂
I have never seen anything like this in my 20 years of bear guiding either. Wow!
With the exception of the biting, this reminds me of an Olympic wrestling match between two heavy-weights. As a collegiate wrestler, myself, the spin moves, takedowns, and attempt to put the opponent on their back… are so familiar to me from my wrestling days. I am glad to see that unlike some species, bears don’t usually fight to the death.
Phenomenal! This is a true grappling match of nature's great beasts of the land; amazing. Thank you guys!
They watched this on JRE and Joe Rogan basically commentated the fight. In the beginning the younger bear looks like he’s winning cause he’s on top and going hard, his guest thought the youngster would win. Joe on the other hand thought the one on top (the younger one) was gassing himself and that he thinks he’ll actually lose. He was talking about how good the bears ground movement was like he’s a wrestler, it was funny.
Joe ended up being right and the bear that looked to be winning in the beginning actually lost. One thing that really struck me when watching this is how human they look while standing. They look like humans fighting in super fluffy and jiggly fur suits. I could see why someone would think there’s a Bigfoot if they caught a glimpse of one standing.
That’s the top comment buddy! Thank u
Crazy that Joe Rogan accurately predicted the winner. The bear getting bitten on the back at the beginning ends up winning
He didn’t have interest to watch more than 1/3 of it. Then he talked about Treadwell. Wtd
I cant wait for his commentary on this one 😂😂
I honestly couldn't tell which bear won because of the jump cut
@@jessehutchings the bear that is more wet on his fur wins in the beginning but loses in the end

@@ddogger3601 a simulation? Really? Real animals are unpredictable and can attack however they want to.
The only way such animals could possibly kill a Kodiak or grizzly is if the bear was old, injured, or sick. I’m telling you, those things are raw killing machines.
Back during the mid 1970s, my uncle/aunt/first cousins were stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base up in Alaska. Long story short, a good friend of my uncle’s was killed by a grizzly attack. As in killed instantly. I was probably in my early teens when this happened.
I was told this friend, and a friend of his (two men) were camping in a small tow-trailer somewhere out in the wilderness.
A grizzly breaks through the camper’s screen door at night. One of the two shot the bear with a pistol, the animal runs off into the darkness. This damn thing was wounded, and like two dumbasses, these guys grab flashlights and take off after it. In the darkness, on its own turf.
Needless to say, the friend of my uncle’s was the first to see some bushes moving, and obviously that was the last thing he saw in Life. I was told the bear threw one swipe, and it cleaved away half of the man’s head.
