That is absolutely the most intense bear interaction/fight I have ever seen. At the end of the day, the older, heavier, more experienced light colored bear was victorious. The younger, darker bear took a ton of damage. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did not live long after this encounter. In the beginning of the fight, I wondered to myself how it is that bears don’t incur more damage when fighting other bears. When you see what a bear can do to a human with little to no energy exerted it is simply crazy. Then I saw the smaller, darker bear’s back left haunches simply slabbed open, and at the end, the entire back of his neck was ripped apart. They must have incredibly thick hides in order to withstand the jaw clamping rips they receive during a fight. I will say…watching them jockey for position was interesting. They were actually thinking ahead of their attacks. Thanks for an impressive upload. And THANK YOU for letting it speak for itself. No music, no crazy filters, no amateur-Scoresesi treatment…just what you captured. Well done.
Respect to the smaller bear. Never gave up and stood their ground. That last minute you could tell the bigger bear was shocked that final blow didn’t kill the smaller bear. Kind of like when a fighter eats your best shot and keeps coming forward. You lose confidence in yourself by asking “what do I gotta do to put this guy out.” This was a bad ass video!
I know! First minute, the bigger bear is standing, leaning, putting ALL his weight and ungodly force to bring the smaller, “weaker” bear down. And he doesn’t fucking go down. How is that possible??
Wow this is the best fight I've seen in nature among apex predators including us . Usually it would be a test of strengh and dominance and the weaker one would run off soon after but these two are evenly matched and both have crazy fierceness. Great video! Thank you for sharing!
@@OanhSchlesinger The smaller (and probably older) one showed a lot of heart. The bigger boar was tested probably like never, too - the guts on that fella as well... He should’ve taken to running😢 instead of trying to mate. Yes, I’m equating human thinking to a wild animal.😂😂😂❤
Well, the female from the beginning was probably impregnated already, since June is when they mate. I’d be curious what bears do for healing when such big hunks of flesh are ripped apart. Do they just get infected and die, or is there something they instinctively know how to do to prevent infection? We used to live in Alaska, and they sure impressed me.
Interestingly, I just looked it up, and the black bears will heal during hibernation. But, that isn’t for many months yet, so I wonder if this bear survived afterwards. “Bears are known to have elevated levels of hibernation induction trigger (delta-opioid receptor agonist) and ursodeoxycholic acid (major bile acid within plasma, mostly conjugated with taurine) during hibernation, which may relate to these wound-healing abilities.”

@@miropribanic5581from what I heard from the commentary, the one try to get it on was the impostor, and he also killed a cub a few days before belonging to the other one
Holy shit this is incredible, It looks like the bear that initiated the attack on the one mating is a bit older and heavier, although he appeared to be losing in the beginning being thrown on his back multiple times by the younger looking bear. I believe he knew how to gauge himself better, The young bear was giving everything he had too quick, the older bear was managing his stamina much better although the first time they entered water and he had him under I was slightly nervous, it's at that point the younger bear had exerted a lot of energy and the older bear knew it was drown or fight, he quickly picks himself up and turns the fight around, that first wound on the younger bears back leg is nasty, he continues to ravage him for the rest of the entire fight. It's no wonder he made it to that size and age. what incredible determination.
I thought the lighter bear was going to kill the darker bear. The dark bear had some serious wounds and looked completely drained of energy at some points but still summoned up enough to get back in the fight. I’m amazed at their stamina, full on physical fights can zap your energy in under a minute. These guys are tougher than I imagined.
When they stand upright locked in combat after they get wet and their fur is matted down, they look like demons straight out of hell. It's scary to think the forest is teeming with 10ft tall, 1000lb+ monsters who will rip your face off and eat you alive.

Wow that was insane! Possibly the best bear fight footage ever recorded in history. I’ve seen a lot of grizzly bear fights in the wild. This is one of the best ever filmed. Top 3. In long fights sometimes one bear won’t survive. The river looks familiar to me. I think it’s in BC. I’ve seen the flesh scarred bear. He’s an older male. The torn flesh was done in a previous fight. For those who will ask, the wounded bear will lick his wounds and rest in salt water. The massive wound will heal in time. Most bears die from human contact shot or hit by vehicles. Bear causes of death are attributed to non-human related traumatic lesions and infectious diseases (primary developed such as infectious canine hepatitis or secondary developed such as clostridiosis or septicemia) 🇨🇦

Man oh man…and to think that us humans even have a sliver of hope at beating a bear without some sort of firearm is outrageous. They’re faster than us, stronger than us, have more stamina, can climb trees, and swim faster than us. Holy moly. Scary creatures they are.
@itonlyhurtswhenyoulie I think they were saying without any "gun" / "Firearm" but he was still talking about a human having any other type of weapon (Axe,knife, sword, club, spear, bow and arrow)
Thank you for not ruining this with irritating rock music, or something similar; the sheer savagery of it all speaks for itself. A stirring effort - well done - 10 out of 10.
10:00 The bear without the scars killed a COY yesterday and ate it. COY stands for "cub of the year." Grizzly cubs generally stay with their mothers 3 to 4 years. When someone mentions COY's they're referring to cubs born that year as opposed to the older cubs still with their mother.
My friend and I had an unexpectedly close encounter with a bear and two cubs in the Slovak Western Tatras. The distance between us was quite critical as the animals stopped and waited to see what was going to happen. We backed out with great respect and calmly. They then continued further into the dense forest. There was no time for heroism or photography then.
Whoa really? I bet there was in fact no time for heroism or photography. Good thing you all didn't have a dog. After Jaws, no more ocean! And after watching countless "Scary Bear Attacks", I won't anytime soon be going camping either. Thanks for sharing.
Obviously everyone is celebrating this video but I truly appreciate the audio! Ive never seen one of these where you can hear the jaws snap and the bears exhalations so clearly. This rules.
The light colored bear at the beginning I thought was gonna be killed. Then the bite to the face status changed and it was a whole new ball game. I thought he was gonna bite through the others spine. Those dudes are tough holy ……ggggeeeaaad dang boy that had to hurt. The amount of stamina to continue is friggin mind blowing. It’s all about the bite to the face controls them and then a paw to the eyes and a good old spine bite and shake.
I AM! That damn big bear killed a cub the day before and apparently had blood lust….he attacked them when they mating! Poor bear…..I couldn’t watch all of it. Trusts me I know that it’s nature and it’s all very brutal …..humans too…..it’s just….yea my heart hurts watching it.
....check this out, in our language, what words were unspoken here. ''STEVE, I WARNED YOU ABOUT FUKKING MY WOMAN, ITS GAME TIME BITCH'' ''OH SHIT, ERIC?, HOWS THIS....OH YEAH BABY YEAH'' fight to the death.

Well done.
Thank you
Respect to the smaller bear.
