Man honestly my biggest criticism is how short the levels are and what they didn't make missions
Boga Chase
I always wondered why they didn't make Destroying Death Star 2 a level
At least we have the dancing chairs back.
Some of the levels i find disappointing such as the last level of return of the jedi, and not just because of the length. It just feels underwhelming
Personally on this game I prefer the Qui Gon and obi wan vs maul level over the Anakin vs Obi Wan, I just think we’ve never had as much freedom to move around on the Maul battle levels as we have had on Skywalker Saga
I got very disappointed we didn't get a Death Star II assault with Lando. It was my favorite level on Complete Saga and it is a very important event on the Star Wars universe for just being on a cutscene :/

That and the fact there was no ship level for the battle of Coruscant and no battle using the LAAT gunships on Geonosis.

I feel like they didn't do enough hub levels around the finales like Mace vs Palpatine, retaking Theed palace, and Endor space battle
Petranaki panic personally disappointed me a lot. I think the one in the clone wars game was way more creative with how you handle the beasts and complete the objectives instead of just punching them until they die like in this level
The final battle was also better in the clone wars
The trailer showed more droids in it, also getting to play as Anakin which didn’t happen
There are other ways to defeat them. For example, you can use the force to distract them and make them dance, then hit them with heavy attacks. It’s very funny and much more fun than just punching them.
They really could’ve benefited from making each episode have six levels. TPM palace level, AOTC battle of geonosis, ROTS battle of corasaunt, ANH was pretty fine overall, ESB have a full dagobah level, ROTJ Death Star 2, TFA was fine and same with the rest of the sequels
A new hope could have had a Vader boss battle
Negotiations should have been a level for TPM
Or put the battle of corasaunt as part of the first level and have a Mace Windu boss fight where you play as Palpatine

Really feels like the levels took a backseat to the open world, and that really held this game back. So many short levels and missed opportunities.

i admit that some of the levels are short but that's because of the mountains of content in galaxy free play. what i really wish is if you'd be able to replay the in between level segments when you replay the level but you can't for some reason
Okay. I am not a sequel fan but I liked chrome dome down. He said that it was generic, but ilyou can make it diverse. One challenge is to hit her 9 times differently. It's really fun when you do it that way

i’d say the one disappointment of the anakin be obiwan battle is that the second player doesn’t get to do a whole lot. But other than that, that level is great
I was kinda hoping master code breaker would have had the part with Finn and rose on those creatures, I felt it was a missed opportunity, there are levels like that in the game that Could have benefited from an extra section. The last level of the force awakens for me was great because they combined a flying battle with a ground boss fight and I don’t really understand why they didn’t do that in other levels for example last level of return of the jedi could have cut to a short flying section blowing up the deathstar or at least escaping
Funniest thing is the whole creature chase thing was a race within the cantonica area, and it was an almost exact replica of the movie scene itself

You counted some parts of overworld exploration as part of the levels
For me personally, I almost feel like the levels were the worst bit of Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. I just can only think of maybe two or three levels that weren't done massively better in complete saga. I like the game but not really for the levels

The Master Codebreaker one you can literally beat in 5 seconds tops on free play.
appreciate the video and i like your channel a ton! i guess i would say even though it’s a big task to describe every level in the game, its very noticeable that your reasoning for nearly every level placed worse on the list is that it’s slow paced or feels slow. Feel like if it’s the exact same criticism for 15 straight levels it might make the video better to give a bit of variety in describing why it feels slow or what the problems are. Not a big deal at all but i could predict the same 2 phrases you would use to criticize the levels for the first quarter of the video lol

Is it just me who loved the sequels. My favorite level is actually the last of episode 9. On two player Ben is climbing up the whole as Rey is up top and they line up.
That was also my favourite level actually. I was most disappointed with the prequel levels and thought a lot of the original levels were meh

id switch maul and grevious, but i do love mauls freedom to move, yopu really get to feel like you're at a disadvantage, hes in an open area, and slashing quickly, its also nice how mauls fight gives you a general sense of dread when you see that oduble blade come out
The first level of revenge of the sith actually has an infinite stud glitch where there's a Droideka near the end of the level that keeps respawning so you can keep killing it to get a combo. I got over 2 billion studs in the level using this

@@dudeguy24 I know but you can also kill him for a combo because if he died and never respawned then you wouldn't be able to do the challenge with him
A Wrestle with Wesell too short? Play it with a controller with aiming assistance off and it will go on for like 45 minutes... Seriously, this game is really broken / not thought through in some areas if you actually want to aim yourself.
My favorite is Senate showdown for some odd reason because I love playing as Yoda the boss fights amazing
Some of the missions could have been extended like having the fish boss fight and then the rescuing Padme to include more important events in the missions. Like instead of shooting at a fish as the whole level, you could navigate Coruscant and take a number of paths to make the gameplay more enjoyable and fun.
They could have had the Palpatine boss fight and then only had the cutscene where Mace Windu got killed. They could have also added the Yoda vs. Palpatine boss fight as a continuation of that level
They could have also added a ship level in the start of episode 3 where you shoot at droid ships. Also, they could have had points where you switched to
R2-D2 to fend off buzz droids as well. You could maneuver through massive capital ships and then shoot out the shields a to continue on into the second half of the level which I would have made a little bit longer.
I would’ve preferred if the game wouldn’t let their new features dominate the game. Their quick time events dominate every major boss fight. Their new puzzles are practically the only puzzles. Rarely will one puzzle be unique. Using batteries to solve half the puzzles is one major let down. I feel like their puzzles in the story could have been more like normal Lego puzzles. Like one thing that could have been done in the first Phasma level would be constructing a large vacuum that you could use to soak up the energy from a power socket and then putting the energy into a new power socket. And then have the power sockets be unique in each level.
This ranking Hurts my brain. I dont have problem with your placings its your opinion but this felt like you played the game once and did the list. Many missions had multiple ways To complete them but you only told one and also you added some free play story sections (i dont know what they are reallly called) like negotiations wasnt part of the level or escape from Echo Base wasnt part of level
The fact that the mission called “ Better Call Maul “ Is so funny
I actually really liked Be With Me, though I do agree the final vs Palpatine could have been better. I just really enjoyed fighting the Sovereign Protectors followed by the Orbak chase.
Chrome Dome Down is really a fun level when you have to damage her nine different ways for the challenge- it’s just a bit weird that they put it so that you can just use tie fighters nine times, that makes it a little lame.
I’d maybe put Low Flying Garbage a bit higher. I’m a big fan of the ships in this game, and that’s one of the better ship levels, because it’s in a setting that’s really fun to fly through and dodge obstacles and stuff- that element doesn’t really appear in the other ship levels.
I’d put Battle of the Jedi way lower- I just hate darkness in video games, and this was a particularly annoying incarnation. It’s the only level I actively disliked.
I probably wouldn’t have Reap what you Solo so high either. It’s not a bad level at all, it’s just one of the most forgettable for me. Same with Droid Factory Frenzy- I don’t know why I don’t care for it, by all rights I should, it just feels kinda bland.
Stay On Target I’d also have maybe a bit lower. It just feels kinda- there’s not a lot of maneuverability so it isn’t that fun for me, I dunno. I preferred the trench run on Starkiller and the one through the Star Destroyer in Low Flying Garbage. Oh well.
Boarding Party I might also have lower just because it’s- I dunno, it feels a little awkward at times, like they didn’t know what to put and shoved things together. The Ackbar hologram comes to mind. It’s really cool in freeplay, though; there’s so many side paths to take.
God, the Copa-Khetanna- I want to love you. The sail barge sequence was fantastic, and then seeing a Jabba boss was a fantastic surprise. Fighting Jabba, on the other hand... it just went on, and on, and on. If Jabba had a lot less health this would be a fantastic level.
Other than that, I agree with pretty much everything! The only reason this comment seems so contrary is that you’ve said pretty much everything else I could want to say! Great video!
The high ground was a definite improvement over the Complete Saga
My favorite is between Boarding Party and Better Call Maul
The Luke vs Darth Vader fight was actually so fun because if you play with a second person, they play as Darth Vader so it's a 1v1 between both players and then a 2v1 vs Palpatine
Kinda confused on why he connected the open world beginning of episode 1 with a bigger fish. They are separate but eh, whatever.

My favorite levels on the prequels,originals and sequels are episode 1 level 3,episode 2,level 2,level 4,level 5,episode 3 level 4,level 5 the high ground,episode 4,level 3,level 5,episode 5 level 5,episode 6 level 1,level 2,level 5,episode 7 level 4,level 5,episode 8,level 3,level 4,episode 9,level 4,and level 5

I spent at least 30 minutes in all the levels except for the vehicle ones so they did not feel that short to me
I think the gunship Calvary level should have been added(not the old one but one in episode two of complete saga)it was actually really fun and would be awesome in the game

One of my least favorite levels is The Hunt for Jango IF you’re trying to do the Charged Up challenge. Trying to avoid the Seismic Charges was annoying
Over all, some of the flying controls(specifically the loop and U-turn maneuvers) feel clunky
Tbh, I took more joy from all the side missions and puzzles than the main levels. The main levels lack length and efficiency. Feels like thhe focused to much on the visuals and to little on the gameplay itself.
Boga Chase is a Level that wasn't in 05, that I wish was Adapted!!

The only good part of the jango fett mission was the boss fight against Jango which isn’t even in the level.

Even though High ground is one of the best levels in the game if not the best, i just feel like the orginal ”Darth Vader” level was just so much better. Same with the ep6 sidious level. I feel like they missed the point what we enjoyed in those levels felt so boring compared to original version. Also battle of coruscant should have been in the game it was one of the best levels in complete saga.
Top 3 for me is number 3 is better call maul number 2 is revaluations and number 1 is the high ground

droid factory frenzy is literally the worst mission in the game, and on top of it just generally being bad it glitched out and i couldnt progress at one point bc i had the golden gnk droid enabled
also to say petranaki panic “captured the moment in the movie quite well” is physically painful to me, the jedi in the background during the jango fett fight are literally standing still
Hot take, the Hoth and Cold one with Satellites was one of my 5 LEAST favorites.

Ngl they all kinda sucked to me, no creativity like the OG Lego games. Cool mechanics with bland level design, the only really fun levels to me were the ones that allowed free play lightsaber battles like Dooku in ROTS and Maul

First level of episode 5 was fire but the whole entirety of episode 2 was pretty boring except the battle of the Jedi and the dooku boss battle but maybe it might be cuz I rlly on like tpm in the prequels

Played both
The gameplay and mechanics are way better on Skywalker Saga but the level and puzzle is better on TCS
Combat and gameplay is way better than TCS but the length and design is probably better in some aspects of TCS
I disagree but that’s your opinion so I’ll respect it
