Really enjoy your vids you draw us in as though we are along for the ride with you. So much achieved and cannot wait until your back cruising the high seas. A little envious of your lifestyle choice
You should set up a double filter system to connect to shore water when you top up at other ports so you know that the water you receive is clean. Some marina's have really shitty water.😊
Fellow Kiwi enjoying the 'real' nature of the videos - keep it up! If you get a chance I would love to see the costs of the various upgrades and projects you have undertaken - maybe a video on what you did to equip the boat for off shore etc. These sort of videos age quickly so seeing something in 2024 $ would help us greatly.
One of the best designs I ever saw was having the washer and dryer up on the main level. None of this trying to get it below deck. The other thing in best design practice I saw on another boat was they kept a full size household refrigerator up on the main deck.
Makes a lot of sense having it all on the upper deck, also having washers and fridges on higher level allows for easy draining of waste or condensation.

Thnaks for tuning in. Great idea doing a breakdown of cost and an overview of the changes we made. We will put this on the list for sure.

@@JourneyofaFisherman excellent point.
How do you like the taste of the water from the water maker? We had them on the rig’s but drank bottled water because the WM water tasted funny.
@@maloo303 we are really surprised how good it tastes. The tanks are super clean so this helps a lot.
@@JourneyofaFisherman that’s great then. I’m loving following your journey.
is that a salt water washing machine? just curious how that works, is is salt water wash then fresh water rinse?
@@hardtobelieve4753 no it’s a fresh water machine, it uses roughly 20 litres per wash.
@@JourneyofaFisherman cool thanks for replying
