I just love him because he's got millions of subs and still doesn't do sponcon "gear reviews" or camp with $10,000 equipment. Just the most humble, honest, genuine dude. Will still roll all the way to shore at 2mph to say hi to a fan, etc. On bad days it's so useful to be reminded that guys like him are out there.

@timjones9206 I know everyone dies. Many people don't experience so many big losses in a short space of time, though of course a great portion do. One thing that doesn't help, is people trying to minimize the pain, so when you meet people in that situation, either be kind or say nothing.
Oh man, the people on that lake weren't ready to witness the glory of Steve Wallis. "It ain't much, but it's home" slew me. Just imagine you're hanging out on that lake and suddenly a tiny RV on a DIY-floating platform pulls in next to you. I'm sure just seeing this made many people on that lake cheer up.
Camping has always brought peace into my life. Lately i havent been able to get out at all and I just gotta send my thanks for sharing your journeys with us. Its not quite the same as being out in the woods myself just enjoying nature to the fullest, but your videos bring the closest type of vibe to that. So long story short thank you for the camping journeys, it helps with my lack of peace in life lately.
It's always so trippy being in the middle of a calm lake and being able to hear everyone on the shores shouting and playing like they are just a few meters away.

We actually did all that stuff as kids and survived. There is nothing wrong in reliving our childhood or having a first one no matter our age. And we can upgrade our Step 2 beverage from Kool-Aid to beer 😊
