You are such a trustworthy, consistently solid reviewer. Always a joy to see a new clip of yours drop into my notifications! Very nice price on this system. I wish I was in the market right now, still paying off my Zenbook Pro. Possibly on down the line I might pick up a later gen version of this.
I had a 1 TB ThinkPad X1 Extreme i9-9880H I bought for about €2k (reduced from 4k Black Friday) in Dec 2019 that I sold last year for €1000k despite it being 5 years old. You should think about selling it and re-buying particularly while Zenbook Pro's will get a lot of traction now because of AMD and Snapdragon chips :)

Funny how we think of web-browsing as a lightweight task but even Falkon (which runs faster/lighter than Firefox, Chromium, Librefox) uses more RAM and CPU than any other program I regularly use (VSCode, Emacs, Dolphin, GIMP, Strawberry). For me, web-browsing is an intense activity.
Hey Lisa! Been watching all your videos for ages, you're my go to reviewer... I'd love to see time stamps on your content so I can skip around to the sections I'm looking for (like display, processor, etc) when I am comparing various products to choose what to purchase!!

@@worthless_opinion You could but the fact it's a higher res screen it's effectively working harder to 'downscale' if that's such a word. Besides, 2k on a 13" screen is a waste. It's too small.
Oh man, this is almost the ultimate mobile workstation for me but the stylus digitiser just isn't good enough. I'm really impressed with basically every other spec. If i could get this with an EMR digitiser instead I'd be ordering one right now while watching the conclusion of the review!
Awesome review as always! Honestly ASUS is kinda doing something redundant. 890M is close to a 4050 at 1200p or even 1600p at some point, and they put in a 4050 there, wasting the internal 890M. If they remove that 4050, I am sure they could make it so much slimmer or much quieter. Anyway, again, love your review
The one issue I have with this laptop is for the price, you're only getting a 60 hz screen. Yes, it's a good OLED screen with a high resolution, but I'd take a 120 hz 2560x1600 OLED screen over a 3k 60 OLED screen any day of the week, given 2560x1600 is way overkill at 13.4 inches! If this was cheaper or even released a few years ago, I could accept that refresh rate hit, but it's 2024, and this is _not_ a cheap laptop!
So appreciate a review channel that just gets to the point. I'm so tired of long ear-busting death metal lead ins, hearing the reviewer's life story, their domestic issues, or rambling on about their pet or something! (And I need to find out where you get those T-shirts! lol) IMO, the price is very good compared to the Surface Pro 11. Just going to 32GB RAM on that brings it up higher, with no discrete GPU, and overall lower specs. Micro$oft is way overpriced for what it offers. For art, the Surface Pro 11 surprisingly has lower color gamut even on their OLED screen version according to their website. And without a discreet GPU, I don't think most people are going to be happy with demanding art apps or video editing. The only thing the SP 11 has on this is claimed battery life, but the PX13 has more than enough for my use when traveling, I'm not looking for this to be my everyday work computer or anything. This is the clear winner to me between the two. And upgrading from a very old Surface 4 (non pro), I think I would be quite happy with even the battery life on this, let alone the specs! My only quibble would be the screen size, I'd have liked this to be a 14 inch, but it's close enough that it's not a deal breaker for me.
nenek-nenek keren. reviewnya mudah dipahami bahkan jika kamu gak terlalu ngikutin perkembangan teknologinya laptop. btw gue punya trauma sama laptop yang bisa dilipat kek gitu. dulu sempet lama make Yoga. karena keseringan dilipet, satu engselnya patah. wkwk
There is also a 4070 version. I really wish we would get a side-by-side comparison between the three variants to see how mucb thermal throttling there is; are there any gains to go 4070 over the 4060 for example, when the chassi is so small and compact?
@zunedog31 how is it free? The government pays for nothing it doesn't take from someone else first. We are forced to pay $1500 a year in Medicare levy even if you also have private health. The only state that doesn't pay personally for Ambulance cover is Queensland but home owners pay a tax to cover that first everyone else. All other states must pay Ambulance cover or receive insane bills. Tax money pays for every treatment and that's comes out of our pockets. Nothing is free.
The key thing for me is that actual real professional productivity software can run natively on it, rather than emulated (which is all you have on the snapdragon laptop / tablet options out there).
Got the 4070 model and it's amazing. Two notes from me here that i saw someone else mention: 1. With the 4070 the fans immediately go nuts when you run something via the GPU. So be prepared for the noise if you buy that version and don't want to constantly run whisper mode. 2. Seems to be an issue with Lightroom Classic and the GPU. If i keep the GPU active LRC stutters a lot and if I turn the GPU off it runs smoothly. Seems to only be an issue with LRC what I've noticed so far and i hope a driver update can solve this in the future. Otherwise an amazing machine and for the price just compare it to the same specs on a mac and it suddenly looks cheap 😊

Very cool laptop, but unfortunately way too expensive for what it is (overpriced, even for a premium product standards). It is Basically re-branded ROG Flow X13, but worse and either same priced or even more expensive than Flow X13. Also, fun fact: OG 1st gen ROG Flow X13 with worse specs (16/512/GTX1650) was sold brand new pretty much for half od the price tag of this thing. I also do not understand why they went for this kind of specs, but used 60hz screen. I guess part of the problem is that so far only Asus makes 13 inch 2in1 with dedicated GPU, so prolly that is why price tag is so far out into space lol.
