I watched this on SuperGT's stream. That was one hell of a lobby. I wish I could get into a lobby like that. Especially with 9 names I recognize as some of the top drivers in GTSport and Ollie.

Saw this happen on Ollie's account and felt so sorry for you. Then came to watch here and was thinking you were making a great comeback halfway through the race and was once more cheering for you...only to see it all tumble down! Still think it is wonderful that you do not shy away from showing this. And though it was an unfortunate result (as the latter mistakes were not your own wrongdoing), the resulting video was still great fun to watch.
Unlucky mate you did great in the race before this, so not all was bad, everyone has bad races 👍 and to be fair the end was mainly others fault.

Lol ive seen this 3 times now from your perspective, Ollies and SuperGT.
Starting my own live streams and trying to reach top lobbies from scratch. Not easy with the server issues you mentioned, I actually thought they'd patched the handling to try and move further towards Assetto Corsa style but thanks for the info that its the servers causing it, I did wonder why the rear of the car wasn't behaving at all.
Basic setup for me logitech G whatever for the ps4 and a wheelstandpro but ill give it a good shot and hopefully be able to join better lobbies when GT7 emerges from the secret laboratory 😆
Don't forget your the calm driver I try to aspire to so well done for not freaking out lol

i think its no shame that one often cant handle the pressure due to having a fulltime job and family. once you can focus 100% on a thing it will work out, but dealing with real life and sim racing on a level that high, mistakes are unavoidable i guess. i appreciate it very much, that you share all moments, the good, the bad and the ugly :)

As an impartial observer I really felt your pain there Rory. Server issues definitely didn't help at all.
Brush yourself down and prepare for the next. Getting punted off is one of the reasons why I won't do an online race. Too frustrating.

Lag is a regular issue for me playing in Australia. We don't have a local server, the closest is in Japan. PD need to sort this.

I still wonder why we can get pushed off in the first corner and the opponents NEVER get a penalty for that. What is so hard to program the penalty sytem right?

If you got a broke neck a halo is the way to go if it doesn’t kill you been seeing superGT a lot lately nice to see him back, the servers been acting funny lately after every race you have to reconnect to the network

You asked so I'll answer. My thoughts on the halo. I don't mind them at all. However I DESPISE the bar that comes down at the front, smack bang in the middle, somewhat blocking my view. It's more distracting than anything but super annoying. I'd even prefer TWO bars coming down slightly to the sides than have one in the middle.
No penalties for those pesky Ram Raiders?

Servers have been falling apart recently. People getting DC'd after every race and the crazy lag has been a huge issue.

Ok, challenge... You've assumed by best I mean standard. As a content creator I am a big fan of Steve, Kie and Ollie and the others who were in the lobby but weren't mentioned. To have them all in the lobby made it the best lobby in my view, the only thing it was missing was Tidgney and Adventure Racing and it would have been my ultimate lobby.
