    Just ordered a set for the Scrambler. I've been thinking of putting the Tiger pegs on, which a lot of folks do. Nice review, thank you.

      Did you ever put them on? Thinking about them for my Scrambler, would love to know how you find them.

      @@d.Cog420 I did indeed. Honestly, the pivot part doesn't seem to help much except for getting my off road boot under my shifter, lol. But, the larger peg (compared to stock) is definitely improvement. I don't find any real advantage sitting or standing (except for the boot under shifter thing).

      @@Road_Rash1 Interesting and thanks for the reply. I ride with Sidi X Power boots and it is a bit tricky getting my boot under the shifter so that alone might be worth it. Would you buy them again?

      @@d.Cog420 I would. The size is much better than stock and the pivot is just a bonus! Install was crazy easy.

    I take my bike to church all the time...saves time and and especially out from parking lots LOL. I"ll check these out and also the Lone Rider MotoPegs brand too.

    Thank you. This helped me with the installation.
    Installing the pegz was easy but not making a video of it .
    I now understand how challenging it is to make a video and edit it😅
    Cheers 🍻

    I have these on a KTM890 adventure r, they were on the bike when I bought it near new. I took them off without really giving them a go and put KTM rally pegs on. Could not change gears properly. Tried the pivot pegs and after a while you simply don’t notice them at all, just seems normal. By the way because you are not dragging your boots all over the peg trying to get a gear change right.

    Just ordered a set for my Tiger 900 Rally Pro, here on Vancouver Island. Thx for the great review!

      How do you like them so far?

  • @kee7678

    Ever have issues with the brake with the pivot pegz. I keep riding the brake with my new stiff boots, little room...dealer said "this is why your ruined your calipers and rotor...these pegs made your boot ride the brake, we see it all the time". Very expensive mistake on my new Tiger 900 RP.

      I typically ride with the ball of my foot on the peg unless I am using the brake, so I don't think I ride the brake. But I have had some issues with the Tiger rear brake. Seems to be master cylinder problems for me, nothing to do with riding the brake pedal.

    Great video! I've been wondering what was the motivation behind getting these? I've recently bought new pair of adv boots and I'm struggling with upshifts even though I raised the gear lever as much as I could without it hitting the engine. I also have tiger 900 gt pro and it seems that apart from sw-motech gear lever (and I'm sceptical this lever'd fix the problem anyway) there aren't many aftermarket options. Do you think these pegs might fix the issue?

    • @RidgeRoamer
      @RidgeRoamer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are struggling and are currently on stock pegs, you may not see a big improvement. I would say the rotation of the peg offsets the problems encountered when going to a typical fixed wide off road peg. But it will probably help some, and also give you the benefit of significantly better grip on your pegs.

    Got a 2013 Tiger Sport and my feet are very crampt on pegs/pedals (large feet). Wondering if these will make it more comfortable?

    Any issue with the width being able to get your boot in to upshift?

    Are they longer than the stock pegs? I find the stock ones too short and would like to get something that extends a little further away from the bike.

      Yes. I show them side by side in the video. Maybe half inch longer

    How do you like that Klim jacket???

    • @RidgeRoamer
      @RidgeRoamer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This Klim Marakesh jacket is probably my favorite riding jacket I have ever owned for everyday riding. I have a mesh for hotter days, and a Goretex for cold/rainy days, but for "average" days, this is definitely my go to!

    ive tried them and could not stand them. i race 1-3-4 hour harscrambles, GP and enduro races. I practice for 4-5 hours 2 -3 times a week and found nothing better about them. Absolute worst thing ever for my riding. Your feet go from heels up to heels down way too easy, makes the bike harder to squeeze and harder to control, harder to flic around. Try to do some race speed precise rear braking with your peg moving like a f-in teeter totter... Try to flic a big bore 2T bike around in tight trees while going from braking position to sitting to attack position and that tetter totter crap causes issues with missing a shift or hitting neutral or messing with your rear brake application. Did i mention nobody worth a crap RUNS THEM IN SUPERCROSS.. While you may find a few that run it or GNCC or BAJA or DESERT thats it only a few. just my too cents, was a waste of money, better off buying the 'china-way' alum monster tooth foot pegs for $30-40. my pivot tetter totters just listed my on eway up, for grabs
