One thing I forgot to mention, there is definitely more vibration than the stock pegs on the KLR. You might have noticed the wind noise in this video. I've got a new mic and I'm still ironing out the kinks. Definitely needs a dead cat to stop some wind!

I saw the photos you sent mate, they look pretty sweet. Would love a factory black option

Killer review man, was excited for this one! My brother swears by his pivot pegs. Can't wait for when I can get them on my bike.

Nice mate. I really liked mine, still looked like new after a lot of abuse too

I have a set of them on my Tiger 1200, and I agree: I absolutely *love* them :)

The other great thing about these is that you can reverse the axles (ie switch sides of.the bike) which then moves them lower and more rearward. This gives more boot clearance and greater stability when standing (unless you are short in height).

Whoa?? I didn't know that. I'm having that issue. In fact, I made a very expensive mistake by riding the brake in the highway as my new boots didn't feel them hitting and engaging the brake on the toes. I cant really ride on my arches as there is no room and hits the shifter and the brake.... so try switching sides huh???

ive tried them and could not stand them. i race 1-3-4 hour harscrambles, GP and enduro races. I practice for 4-5 hours 2 -3 times a week and found nothing better about them. Absolute worst thing ever for my riding. Your feet go from heels up to heels down way too easy, makes the bike harder to squeeze and harder to control, harder to flic around. Try to do some race speed precise rear braking with your peg moving like a f-in teeter totter... Try to flic a big bore 2T bike around in tight trees while going from braking position to sitting to attack position and that tetter totter crap causes issues with missing a shift or hitting neutral or messing with your rear brake application. Did i mention nobody worth a crap RUNS THEM IN SUPERCROSS.. While you may find a few that run it or GNCC or BAJA or DESERT thats it only a few. just my too cents, was a waste of money, better off buying the 'china-way' alum monster tooth foot pegs for $30-40. my pivot tetter totters went up on eway.

You make some valid points. I still like a good set of solid pegs, but can definitely see the appeal of these. Ultimately I'll probably go back to a set of good standard pegs on my next bike

and i have a fractured ankle from 15 + years ago and reinjury from 2 years ago and i still found NOHTING better over a good set of flat pegs!

cant disagree with you on precise handling the more direct contact you have with the bike the better for racing and exact throwing around, I dont do that anymore, so for me allows me to stand better stretch out my calves and up hill and down hill..im not 25 anymore either so I think the application injuries etc is important

Thanks for the import but not everyone is an elite dirt racing champion like yourself.

Ha, why all the hostility? You can just say you dont like them :)
Most factory mx bikes will already have good pegs, but many bikes can do with an upgrade. I love them on my tiger 900.

I wouldn’t hurt the kid, but he damn sure would have to walk a broke bike home.

Ok I've been reading this trying to figure it out. Is it a quote?
